Well, folks, we're through May, pushing halfway through 2026, and it's very clear to me trying to work continuing to see farmers under pressure. Definitely, when it comes to equipment focused on the used market, the cost of new is so high, and it just appears what farmers continue to want is the best condition used, whether that's low hours or even a few more hours, higher hours, but in really good condition is what they want. Now, latest example I can share with you, we can go Saturday, May 23rd on a farm auction in Monroe, North Carolina. This tractor sold. It was on the Braswell Dairy Farm Auction sale by Traditions Auction Company. A McCormick MTX 140 with 1838 hours. Actually, it had been in storage for 9 years since 2017. No loader. Sold for 51,000 bucks. Now, the fact is, that's the highest auction price I've ever seen on a McCormick MTX 140. The previous high was 3 years ago. Here's a picture of it. It was an auction June 22nd of 2023 in Big Cabin, Oklahoma. Sale from Expandan Farms, and it was an '05 model McCormick MTX 140 with a loader, 3633 hours, sold for 48,000 bucks. Now, again, the sale May 23rd by Traditions Auction Company in Monroe, North Carolina, 51K. Again, the thing's been in storage for 9 years, so it was not without issues, as is often the case with equipment that's been sitting for a long time, and hats off to Traditions Auction Company. They were very upfront mentioning the issues with it. Actually, the AC needed to be charged, the air ride was not functioning properly, and the compressor was running constantly, but nonetheless, that McCormick MTX 140 with 1838 hours sitting for 9 years sold for 51K. Again, all-time record high auction price on an MTX 140.
