## Описание

Let's not forget taxes that I set aside each month. Since my net income was around $13,000, I saved $3,900 into my tax savings account which is a high-yield savings account.

Personally, I like to save around 30% of my net income every month so I'm prepared for taxes!

It’s easy to talk about what came in, but I want to show what went out too so you can see the full picture!

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

Last year I created a series called my $50,000 income goal where I documented my entire journey of making $50,000 in gross sales from my passion projects aka my side businesses outside of my full-time job The Budget Mom LLC. What I didn't include in those videos were the other side of the equation, the expenses. So today I want to share a more accurate picture of what my side business Pine Manor Naturals made in March and I'm using March since those figures and reports are the last finalized reports that I got. So in March I brought in $19,898 in product sales. For expenses, let's start with the basics. There was about $18 that was used for discounts meaning a discount code was used by a customer. $177 was collected for taxes from customers and $3,339 was spent on shipping. Now I also spent $2,566 for ingredients to make the products or the soap. $233 was for office supplies in March that was for more shipping labels and $324 was for upgraded equipment. If you add all those up, my March expenses equal $6,657. That leaves my net profit at $13,241 which I used to fund two big trips I have coming up later this year. Any additional money not spent on travel is being left in my business savings so I can continue to purchase more ingredients. If you'd like me to continue sharing my side business income and my journey and my expenses, make sure to comment down below.
