Open AAI just dropped something insane. An AI that doesn't just talk. It does stuff for you. I'm putting it head-to-head against N. Today, we're going to see if this thing can actually replace your automation tools. By the end, you'll know if you should ditch NA or if chat GPT agent is all hype. Let's go. So, here's what just happened. Open AAI released something called chat GPT agent mode, and people are losing their minds over it. Why? Because this isn't your normal chat GPT anymore. This thing can browse websites, click buttons, fill out forms, run code, create files and do it all by itself. Think about that for a second. You tell it what you want done and it goes and does it. No more copy pasting, no more switching between tabs. It just handles it. Now, I know what you're thinking. Sounds too good to be true, right? That's exactly what I thought. So, today we're testing it. We're going to see if this thing can actually beat N. For those who don't know, N is a workflow automation tool. Tons of people use it to automate boring tasks, connect apps, move data around, build workflows. It's powerful stuff, but here's the thing. N requires setup. You got to build nodes, connect them, test them. It takes time. Chat GPT agent. You just ask it and it's supposed to figure it out. So, which one wins? Let's break this down. Hey, if we haven't met already, I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency Goldie Agency. Whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers, I'm here to help you get the latest AI updates. All right, let me explain what chat GPT agent actually is because this is where it gets interesting. OpenAI took their existing models and they added a new layer on top. This layer lets Chat GPT interact with the world. Not just talk about it, actually do things. It can open websites, scroll through pages, click links, extract information, fill out forms, all visual stuff that humans do. It can also run code, Python scripts, terminal commands, whatever you need. And it does it in a safe sandbox. Want a spreadsheet? It builds it. Want a PowerPoint deck? Done. Need data organized? It handles it. But here's where it gets really wild. It can connect to your actual accounts, Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, whatever you give it permission to use. So you can say something like, "Check my calendar and email the team our meeting notes. " And it just does it. Now, before you freak out about security, yes, you have to give it permission first. It can't just access your stuff. You control what it touches. The way it works is pretty smart, too. It plans out steps, figures out what needs to happen, then executes. If something goes wrong, it can backtrack, try again, or ask you for help. This is what people call an agentic system. It's not just following commands. It's thinking through problems. Right now, it's rolling out to chat GPT Pro Plus and team users. You just click a dropown and select agent mode or type / agent. That's it. Openai even published something called a system card. basically a full breakdown of how it works, what it can do, what the risks are. Pretty transparent and developers, they can build their own agents using OpenAI's SDK. So, you can make custom agentic apps if you want. Now, here's what OpenAI is claiming. They say this thing performs better than humans on certain benchmarks, tests like HLE and Browse Comp. Pretty impressive numbers, but and this is a big butt. Some reviews are saying it's not perfect. It makes mistakes, misclicks, gets confused, hallucinates sometimes. So, it's powerful, but it's not flawless. Keep that in mind. Now, let's talk N8 real quick because we need to understand what we're comparing this to. N8 is a workflow tool. You build flows using nodes. Each node does something specific. Pull data, transform it, send it somewhere, connect apps together. The cool thing about N is it's totally predictable. If you set it up right, it does the same thing every time. No surprises. You can see every step, every connection. It's transparent. You know exactly what's happening. And it's got tons of integrations. Hundreds of apps and services you can plug into. If you need to connect two systems, N probably supports it. So why do people use N? Control, reliability, repeatability. When you need something to work the same way every single time, Nan is your friend. Now, does Chat GPT agent destroy Nan? Let's compare them side by side. Here's where Chat GPT agent wins. Flexibility. You don't have to map out every single step. You just describe what you want. The agent figures out how to do it. That means for one-off tasks or things that change a lot, the agent is way faster to set up. No building workflows, no testing nodes, just ask and go. It's also way better at handling unexpected stuff. If something changes on a website or in a process, the agent can adapt. N would break unless you updated the workflow. And for non-technical people, agent mode is easier. You don't need to understand nodes and connections. You just talk to it like a person. But here's where N wins. Reliability. When you need something to run perfectly every time, nan is the answer. The agent might mess up. Nan won't if you built it right. Transparency too. With n you can see every step. Debug easily. Know exactly what happened. With the agent, sometimes you don't know why it did what it did.

It's more of a black box. If you want to join the AI profit boardroom, the best place to scale your business, get more customers, and save hundreds of hours with AI automation, check out the link in the description. This is where we're diving deep into agents, automation, and making real money with AI. Don't miss it. Cost is another factor. Running the chat GPT agent uses compute. Every action costs something. For heavy workflows with tons of steps, that adds up. N can be cheaper at scale and safety. With N, you control every action. Nothing happens unless you programmed it with the agent. You're trusting it to not mess things up. That's riskier for important stuff. So, here's my take after testing both. Chat GBT agent doesn't destroy Nan. Not yet anyway. What it does is open up a new way of working for quick tasks, research, one-off projects. It's amazing. Way faster than building a whole workflow. But for production systems, things that need to run every day without fail. N is still king. You want that reliability, that control. The future is probably both. Use N for your core automation, the stuff that has to work perfectly. Use chat GPT agent for the flexible stuff, the research, the one-time tasks, the creative problem solving. Here's something else cool. If you're a developer, you can actually build your own agents using OpenAI's tools. They released an agents SDK, a responses API, new primitives for building agentic apps. There's even a guide from OpenAI, 32 pages on how to build agents properly, best practices, error handling, tool boundaries, memory management, all the technical stuff. The pattern is pretty simple. You have a planner that breaks down tasks, an executive that runs the tools, an observer that captures what happened, then you loop, keep going until the task is done or something breaks. It's called a react loop if you want to get technical. But you don't need to know that to use agent mode. What you do need to know is the risks because there are some first errors. When an AI acts on your behalf, mistakes matter more. It might click the wrong thing, misunderstand what you wanted, do something you didn't expect. Second, security. Even though you control permissions, giving an AI access to your accounts is risky. Make sure you trust what you're connecting. My prediction, agents are going to get way better fast. We're early. This is version one. Basically, give it 6 months to a year and these things will be wild. But right now, today, it's a tool in your toolbox, not a replacement for everything. Want to try it yourself? If you got chat GPT Pro Plus or Team, just click the tools dropdown, select agent mode, or type / agent. Start with simple tasks, see how it handles them, and if you're a developer, check out OpenAI's SDK. Build your own stuff. Test it out. The community is already doing crazy things with it. The AI automation space is moving fast, really fast, and this is just the beginning. Imagine what's coming next with GPT5 or whatever Open AI builds after that. We're going to see agents that are even smarter, more reliable, safer, and they're going to handle more complex stuff. So stay on top of this, test it, learn it, because the people who figure out how to use these tools now are going to have a massive advantage. Want to make more money with AI?
