Google just dropped something crazy. Flashlight 2. 5 is here and it's changing everything. This thing is 1. 5 times faster than before. It costs almost nothing to run. And I tested it with 10 different prompts and the results will blow your mind. Today I'm showing you exactly how this new model can save you hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. Hey, if we haven't met already, I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency, Goldie Agency. Whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers, I'm here to help you get the latest AI updates. Julian Goldie reads every comment, so make sure you comment below. Let me tell you what just happened. Google released their fastest AI model ever. It's called Gemini 2. 5 flashlight, and this thing is absolutely insane. I've been testing it for the past few days and I can't believe what I'm seeing. First off, this model is blazing fast. Uh we're talking 1. 5 times faster than the old flash model. But here's the crazy part. It's also way cheaper. Like stupidly cheap. Uh we're talking 10 cents per million input tokens. Compare that to other models that cost way more. This is a game changer for anyone running high volume AI tasks. But speed and cost mean nothing if the quality sucks. So I put this thing through 10 brutal tests. I wanted to see if Flashlight 2. 5 could actually deliver. And let me tell you, some of these results shocked me. Let me walk you through exactly what I tested and what happened. Test number one, I asked it to create the code for a memory matching card game. You know, like the concentration game where you flip cards and try to find pairs. I wanted it to track moves and show a win screen. Here's what happened. The code worked perfectly. It was actually kind of addicting. You have to find the pairs and it runs super fast. It's literally in flash mode. The game loaded instantly and everything worked exactly as expected. Test two was a word guessing game like Wordle. I asked for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript only. It had to limit guesses to six tries and use a fiveletter word. The results blew me away. The game worked flawlessly. It looked like something you could download from the app store. Clean interface, perfect functionality, and yes, I actually guessed the word in the end. The whole thing felt professional and polished. Test three was a to-do list web app. I wanted it to save tasks in local storage and allow drag and drop reordering. This is where things got really interesting. It took less than a minute to complete the code. The app worked perfectly. Simple UI, but fully functional. If you wanted to improve it, you could easily follow up with more prompts. But the base version worked great out of the box. Test four was a landing page for a mobile fitness app. I asked for modern design, headline copy, feature highlights, and a call to action button with an email signup modal. At first, it just gave me a plan for how to create the app. But when I asked it to actually code the landing page, it delivered. The output was basic but functional. It had the pop-up message and everything worked. No temporary images, but that's expected. Test five was where things got really impressive. I asked for a classic Tetris game using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Shape rotation, row clearing, scoring, increasing speed. This is complex stuff, but Flashlight 2. 5 nailed it. The game worked like classic Tetris. All the mechanics were there. It was actually fun to play. The pieces rotated properly, rows cleared when full, and the speed increased over time. Now, test six is where I hit my first disappointment. I asked for space invaders in HTML CSS and J Av C R I P. Enemies moving as a group, speeding up over time, shooting projectiles, power-ups, score tracking, increasing difficulty. I even asked for enemies to dodge bullets after a few rounds. I was really excited about this one. I even turned on thinking mode, hoping it would give me an amazing Space Invaders game, but it didn't work as expected. The game had issues and wasn't as polished as I hoped. I tried the same prompt with thinking mode off, but still got similar results. Test seven was a 2D Minecraft style sandbox. Grid based terrain with different block types like dirt, grass, stone. Players should be able to add and remove blocks with mouse clicks, switch tools, basic inventory, and save terrain state using local storage. When thinking mode was off, it generated a 2D Minecraft that was still playable, but not super entertaining. When I tried it with thinking mode on, I got similar results, but I couldn't place some blocks properly. Test 8 was an AI writing SAS landing page. I wanted HTML CSS and JavaScript only hero section with animated typing live word count demo pricing table testimonial slider email signup form with JavaScript validation. The result was pretty basic design. Nothing too impressive even when I asked it to make it more beautiful. Test 9 was similar. online course platform landing page with filterable course categories, testimonial carousel, scroll spy navigation, and early access form. Again, pretty basic results. Even when I pushed for more beautiful design, it wasn't super impressive. But test 10 brought back the wow factor. I asked for a futuristic landing page for a web 3 crypto wallet, tabbed content for wallet

types, feature grid, animated icons, and real-time ETH price display. Finally, it came up with good UI for the landing page. I actually like this one compared to the earlier tests. The design had some style and personality. So, what does all this mean? Flashlight 2. 5 is incredibly fast and cheap. It excels at functional code in game development. It struggles a bit with complex games like Space Invaders, but nails simpler games perfectly. For landing pages, results vary depending on the complexity and style you're asking for, but here's what really matters. This model costs almost nothing to run and it's crazy fast. If you're doing high volume tasks like translation, classification, or summarization, this could save you thousands of dollars. Let me give you some real numbers. Google says this model costs 10 cents per million input tokens and 40 cents per million output tokens. That's insanely cheap. If you're processing large amounts of content, the savings add up fast. And speed-wise, it's 1. 5 times faster than the previous flash model. For businesses running AI at scale, this speed boost translates to real competitive advantage. Your customers get results faster, your processes run smoother, your costs go down. But wait, there's more. This model has a 1 million token context window. That means you could feed it an entire book and ask it to translate the whole thing in one go. Most models can't handle that much context. This is huge for anyone working with large documents. The model also supports all of Google's native tools. Google search integration, code execution, URL context processing, plus function calling. This isn't just a basic language model. It's a fullfeatured AI assistant that can actually do things for you. And here's something cool. It has controllable thinking budgets. Most of the time, thinking is turned off by default for maximum speed. But if you need deeper reasoning for complex tasks, you can turn thinking on with an API parameter. It's like having both a race car and a luxury sedan in one package. Speaking of getting the most out of AI tools, if you want to see exactly how I use tools like this to automate my business processes, you should check out my free tool training. I break down the exact systems and processes I use to save hundreds of hours every month. The link is in the comments and description. This training shows you step by step how to set up AI workflows that actually work. Now, let's talk about who should be using Flashlight 2. 5. If you're doing any kind of bulk processing, this is perfect. content translation, data classification, document summarization, tasks that need to be fast and cheap, but don't require the absolute highest level of AI reasoning. It's also great for developers building applications. The speed and cost make it perfect for userfacing features. Chat bots that need to respond instantly, content generation that happens in real time, data processing that runs in the background. But what about the competition? How does this stack up against other models? Google is positioning this as the most cost-effective option in their lineup. And from my testing, the performance is solid. It's not the smartest model they offer, but for many tasks, you don't need the smartest. You need fast and reliable. The key insight here is that Google is building a model family, not just one model. Flashlight 2. 5 for speed and cost. Regular Flash for balanced performance, Pro for maximum intelligence. This lets you pick the right tool for each job instead of paying for more than you need. And Google isn't stopping here. They're already working on updates and improved capabilities for the whole Gemini 2. 5 family. This is just the beginning of what's possible with these models. Let me share a real world example of how powerful this can be. There's a company called Satlit building a space computing platform. They're using Flashlight 2. 5 for real-time satellite data processing. The results, 45% reduction in latency for critical diagnostics, 30% decrease in power consumption compared to their baseline models. This isn't just theory. Companies are already seeing massive improvements. Combine them. Fast processing plus lowcost plus large context window equals completely new possibilities. Imagine processing customer support tickets at scale. Translating your entire website into 20 languages in minutes. analyzing thousands of documents for key insights, generating personalized content for every user on your platform. All of this becomes financially viable with Flashlight 2. 5. The model also supports multimodal input, text, images, other media formats, so you're not limited to just text processing. You can build applications that understand and work with different types of content. And because it's built on Google's infrastructure, you get reliability and availability that smaller providers can't match. This isn't some experimental model that might disappear next month. This is enterprisegrade AI from one of the biggest tech companies in the world.
