If you ever copy notes from PDFs, Google Docs, or research papers into spreadsheets manually, this new update is about to save you hours. Google just rolled out data tables in Notebook LM for everyone, and it turns messy information into clean structured tables instantly. Let me show you real examples. So, once you're in Notebook LM, I have opened up a old notebook I have. What you'll notice in the studio section is a new button called data table. So data tables are now rolling out to all Notebook LM users, no matter what your level of subscription is. So even free users like myself have access to this now. And you can ask Notebook LM to structure your sources into tables and you can specify how the table should be created. So I'll show you guys all of this, but what's really cool about this is that whatever table is being generated is going to be generated from your sources that you have over here. So this notebook for example is about AI tools and market overview. Let's say you want to take this research and turn it into a simple data table that will help you understand the information much better. What you can do is just click on this thing here. So just generate a data table here. Once again, you have the option to choose your language. So we'll keep it as English for now. And you can see that notebook element is actually suggesting three options here. You can create a table with major findings in these research paper using columns, title, author, key, result. So you have the ability to customize what columns you want, which is really nice. You can extract the most important quotes from my readings, grouping, theme by topic and author. So there's a lot of functionality you can do and room for you to mess around with the data tables and create it and specify it based on your liking. So the prompt I'm giving it is to create a table summarizing the AI tools market outlook for 2026 using all selected sources, columns, category, key trend, evidence from sources, expected impact, primary winners, risk and constraints. So let's generate this table. So it looks like our data table is ready. So we'll take a look at this. And you can see it kept all of the categories we specified like aentic AI key trend evidence from sources, expected impact on 2026, primary winners, risk and constraints. So let's take a look at this. We'll expand this so you can see the tool is Aentic AI and it's talking about evolution from chat bots to autonomous digital employees and the primary winners it's saying right now based on the sources it has used is OpenAI with GPZ5 entropic and non Microsoft everything like that and then we also have language models which ones are winner enterprise systems so you can see you have the ability to customize your columns and generate that table which is a really helpful feature here's another notebook I have which is based off of Iceland and these are all the sources to kind of help me plan a potential Iceland trip. And what I'm trying to show here is that you don't have to use the tables just for boring things like creating or summarizing information. You can also use it to plan your trips. So, let me show you guys an example. So, I'm going to click on the data table here and then I'm going to ask Notebook LM to turn this Iceland travel guide into a video game map table. I'm trying to be creative. Let's see what it comes up with. I don't know what it's going to do. And the columns I'm going to give it is location, biome type, ice, fire, coast, highland, city, main quest, so I must see what I have to do, side quest, optional adventures, difficulty level, and best time [clears throat] to play visit. So let's generate this. All right, looks like our table is ready. So you can see that it created our Iceland table over here and it has given a location. So all of these are amazing spots and then the biome type, city, fire, ice, coast. Uh these are pretty this pretty nice. Not bad. Main quest. So, what I must do at each spot. For example, at the Blue Lagoon, I must soak in Celestia rich geothermal sea water. I know this is pretty famous. So, if you're from Iceland, I have actually been there once. This is actually a good idea and this is something I enjoyed. Let's say if you are going to Vic, you can actually look at the Icelandic lava show, which is kind of cool. Whale watching. And then you can see the side quest, which is optional adventures. You can do spa treatment, descent to the aquarium lake. difficulty level has given it. Uh, for example, the hard one over here is for the glacier hike, which is at this place. I'm not going to be able to pronounce this, so I won't try. And it's also given us the best time to visit, which is October. And you can see everything you do is grounded in the sources. And all of your sources are actually at the bottom over here. So, this is why like you don't have to use the data tables just for things like organizing data. You can do it for something fun. To show you guys another example, you can also create a data table like this. For example, whenever you're visiting a location, you can also know that like some areas might be hyped and some areas might not be. Right? So, we've done a destination, Instagram expectation, reality check, practical tip, and who's best for it. So, let's generate this table. Here's our table. So, you can see Blue Lagoon, Instagram expectation, a peaceful therapeutic soak in Turkish waters with exclusive spa vibes. Reality check. Extremely popular in busy tourist trap with astronomical fees. Water 37 to 40° C. Contains Cissia

that stiffens hair. So, this is kind of cool. Like, funny as well. You can create this for whatever location you're going to. Let's say you're going to Rome. You know, some places might be hyped up on Instagram, but in reality, they're not that good or they might be tourist traps. And they also provide you with a practical tip. Pre-booking is essential. Use provided conditioner to protect hair. For a quieter experience, try a different place. So, it's giving us a different called the secret lagoon. Who is it best for? Luxury seekers, firsttime visitors, and skincare fans. So, once again, I love how customizable these tables are. Now, I've just shown you guys some examples, but here are some other examples that you could be using Notebook LMS data tables for. For example, at work, you can convert your meeting notes to a table with columns for the action item, category, priority, and owner. So, instead of manually summarizing information and spending time on creating an email and reiterating information, just create a simple table in Notebook LM and send that over in your email and everyone will appreciate you for it. For science, you can make a table of clinical trial outcomes with columns. study name, year, intervention method, sample size, primary outcomes, statistics, including p values. So, it will sort through all of that information and summarize it for you in a simple manner that you can once again send to people or just use it for yourself. And I showed you guys travel examples, but you can also make a table for travel destinations with columns, city, region, best time to visit, estimated cost per day. So nobookm will use your sources and determine what the cost per day would be for each location and give you a clear breakdown. For school, you can also make a table of historical events in the readings with columns, name, country, date, key figures, economic consequences. So here's another example of how powerful notebook LM can be. So don't limit yourself and I would love to see what you guys create in the comments. And if you guys have any other amazing prompts that you would try with data tables, please leave them in the comment. Maybe I'll try them out in my next video or we can see what you guys create with them. So, another feature that many of you guys have probably already used and I've shown in my past videos is the slide deck feature. So, you can customize your prompt and create amazing slide decks like you see over here. So, these are really good and professional, but the only downside at the moment is when you download this, it downloads as a PDF and there's not much you can do with that PDF. You can't make any adjustments. You can't customize the words or change something here. And that is actually one of the features that luckily for us, Notebook LM is actually working on fixing. They have said that they're working on adding customization for slide decks and infographics on the mobile app. I'm hoping that they're not only going to limit this to mobile app and also bring it to the web application because I think that is going to be huge. If you can take amazing slides that it creates, customize it, add [clears throat] your own company's logos, add features like that, then this tool not only becomes usable for brainstorming and, you know, idea mapping for applications like slide decks, you can also customize it and put it in your real workflows. So, this is going to be huge once they rolled that out. Make sure to subscribe to our channel. We do real tests, not just headlines. Make sure you're also subscribed to the world of AI.
