Now this is a brand new stealth model I've tested out. It seems pretty cool so far. And also you can use it directly inside Open Claw. In fact, if you look at the two main places that it's being used, number one is Kilo Code and number two is Open Claw. So if you want to get access to this, uh the first thing you need to do is make sure you have an open router account and then grab an API key and then we can plug that directly into Open Claw today. So that's what we're going to set up. If you don't know how to install Open Claw, I'll show you how to do it today in like 2 minutes. And also something to bear in mind here is like when you're setting this up, you also are using a free API. So that's one of the biggest benefits of using something like Pony Alpha. It is rumored to be GLM4. Sorry, it's rumored to be GLM5 and it's a pretty powerful API. Creates good outputs from what I've tested so far. ### [0:47](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up5UuZ003zY&t=47s) Installing OpenClaw in 2 Minutes And the way that we can install open claw is we're going to run with this. But I'm actually going to get claw code to set this up with the pony alpha method. All right. And so we're going to make sure we have the API installed with pony alpha. So I'm just going to run claw code here. All right. So, it's got the GitHub from Open Claw and then we're going to give it the details and the documentation on using Pony Alpha as well. So, let's grab the information from here. We'll paste it into claw code and then we'll get started on installing that. Flavian says, did GLM come with a new model? A lot of people are saying this is GLM 5. Obviously, if you ask it, it's not going to tell you. It is in stealth mode, so nobody knows just to be 100% honest with you. And also one thing to note here is like this is a free API but it's in beta testing which means like number one it might be slow sometimes and number two there might be some instances where doesn't work as smoothly as you want it to because it's in beta testing. So just something to bear in mind here. Also it could get taken down soon. So I'd recommend if you're going to try and use something like this make sure you use it as soon as possible. If it's only going on a sandbox machine that have um people even setting it up with like open claw people are setting up with um the mobile phone and everything with Z AI sub can I use it? So you would use GLM uh 4. 9 if you wanted to use your subscription. What else we got here? Noah says when starting with open claw what are the sets you need to take? Right? What are the steps? Like give it a big rundown of who you are and your business breakdown. Yeah, I would say you know number one tell it everything you can about who you are, what you do, etc. the more information, the more context it has about you, the more useful it's going to be when it comes to using these tools because it understands you, understands the use cases, right? And so, like really what you want it to do is like have a lot of information so that it can like join the dots together and figure out, okay, what's the best option um in terms of using this? Alexander says he seemed to be talking about replacing Mobot. So, Clawbot, Maltbot, Open Claw, they're all the same thing, but now it's officially changed its name um to Open Claw, but we're just going to get this set up. When did GLM 4. 9 come out? What were the upgrades? Um, so I've got loads of videos on that if you haven't seen it already. In fact, if you go inside the AR profitable here, sorry, GLM 4. 7. That's my mistake. It should be uh 4. 7, not 4. 9. And then we need to get an API key. So you can see it says, do you have a open rout API key? And I'll say yes, I'll provide it. And it says, please paste in your key. So I'm just going to get that now. So you can see now it has set it up. It's got to run the on boarding and everything else. And we just need to add our API key for open router. So let me do that. Fl got excited for a second. Sorry about that, mate. Just setting this up in the background. Obviously, it's got my API key inside uh open claw. So not going to share my screen right now. So let's see what we got. Do you know if anyone has made the same system as good as agents team from clawed code to work in open claw to work on any model in openclaw? Not as far as I know. However, a lot of people raving about swarm agents with Kimik K2. 5, but I just don't think that Kim Kle 5 is anywhere near as good as Claude Opus 4. 6. Doggo says, "More new things for me to try. " I'm going to test not walking cuz um someone I think I got a few comments saying like people didn't like me walking or it's a bit distracting, which I can understand on the videos. Do you have concerns with clawbot? So, if you want to learn how to avoid troubles like that, go inside the section here for SAP updates inside the aircraft boardroom and then go to the molt worker setup. So, if you want to learn how to use this um on a more secure setup, use molt worker. Basically, what this allows you to do is sandbox your clawbot. And then also, you have to approve anyone before they can even start using your clawbot. And additionally, they need an email verification code before they can start using it. So, we've got a full video tutorial where I set it up right here. And then the full setup guide on exactly how to use it. So, now you can see we've got open claw ready to go and we can start using it for free. All right. Just want to say like what I it won't tell me, but I'm going to say what API you using. does seem a little bit slow to respond as well, but just bear in mind like you're getting a free API, so you know, like it's it swings and roundabouts before you get any comments about that. G says, "Shout out to Ava does AI. " Yeah, that's it. You automate OpenClaw with the avatar videos. Yeah, I've got tutorials on that. So you can what you can do is you can plug in your API keys for generating avatar videos and then you can plug them into uh open claw and say like create the avatar videos blah blah and then also what you can do there is you can install remotion. Remotion is a free skill available on GitHub which can produce videos and animations and also edit your existing animations. So you can say like edit this with open claw blah blah. So if we go back inside the chat here just I just wanted to double check that we're actually using the right API and I've said here what API are you using and it said I'm running on open routters API specifically using the pony alpha model. Now, if you go through the on boarding with open claw, like the typical onboarding where you plug in your open router key and then you scroll through like 100 API models to get to a pony alpha, I think number one, it doesn't show cuz it's so new. And then number two, it's a long list anyway, right? It's so annoying like scrolling through that list and trying to find like the API that you need. So, I think this is a better way to do it honestly. Give it to API and watch it make a party playlist. That's amazing. Dog says it's fantastic. Just needs setting up correctly safely 100%. Cred says, "I see it wants to be set as a primate model, not as a fallback. It's working after I set up as a primary model. " Interesting. And then for real says, "Is it free? " Yes, it's free. How much does it cost you to make the AI videos? It depends how long the video is and that sort of thing, but um yeah, it really depends how long the video is, honestly. And then Dogger says, "Sometimes you have to press refresh in the top right. And then which one do I recommend for OpenClaw VPS or Mac Mini? " I don't think you need either, honestly. Like a lot of people bought Mac minis for open clawed which you don't need but also when you've got a VPS I would say that's less secure for setting up right so I'd rather set it up locally so that no one else can access it rather than a VPS and if you want to be really secure then you would just use something like mo worker. So that's basically how to set up um pony alpha inside open claw. You can see it's working. confirmed that it's used the API. Again I would recommend using something like clawed code to set this up. But if you don't want to do that, what I'll do is I'll create a guide for you here on how to set this up step by step. I actually don't have a abacus API um anymore simply because like I think a lot of these tools have replaced abacus and you don't need to use abacus anymore. I'd say like you know even open claw for example is like a more customizable version of open claw from of abacus from what I've seen. So, I don't really talk about Abacus so much anymore. I don't see it as like a major contender. Um, although it was a really good tool before. So, whilst we're waiting for this to load on creating the guide, uh, what I'll do here, one second. Just going to test something out. So, we say, okay, open up my browser and Google the latest AI news. Let's see if it can do it. It should begin to start using that. And you can see it can use a browser. We just need to set up the open core extension for Chrome. I got loads of training on that inside here. And then also what I've done is if you want to know exactly because it's not easy to set up pony alpha with open claw but it probably is worth it because you can use it for free. All right. So what I actually did is ask openclaw sorry claw code to create a guide on exactly how to set this up based on what worked for me. Right. So claw code was the one that got this set up working etc. And I've created a full guide on exactly how to set this up with pony alpha on open claw. So you can use the free API here. We've got a full setup guide right there. Um, and then you can go from there for to start using this. But yeah, it seems pretty good. I mean, the fact that you can use it for free is pretty amazing. Well, I think it could vibe code in the same way that Claude or you know any of these other apps could. Yeah. And you can deploy stuff with Netifi. Just make sure that you've tested it. Um and it's up to your standard and you know your audience's standard first before you release anything. Is it more about what you want Open Claw to do? If you want OpenClaw to do more intensive tasks, you need a more intensive machine. No, I wouldn't say so cuz again it's running through the cloud, right? Yeah. And then and also bear in mind like you're connecting it to APIs and MCPs across the internet. Uh most of the stuff that you do inside there, unless it's really crazy, is going to be cloud based. So, yesterday for example, what I did was I created a team of thumbnail designers inside code. Gave it access to Google AI Studio so it could code via um Nana Banana and generate images. And then I said just create three different thumbnails for me. And then it went off and did it. And I got like three thumbnails in like one prompt using claw code with an Asian team. pretty amazing.
