Today we're going to be looking at ways to switch the API on Claudebot. So one thing I actually want to test out is um using Clawbot directly with chat GBT COI so open eye right um so you can see here they're actually clawed themselves anthropic apparently are suspending accounts using the agent via oorth tokens instead of the official API. So, one thing I want to test here

### Why Switch to OpenAI CLI? [0:25]

is switching over to the codeex CLI installed. So, we're going to work on how to do that today. I think I have to upgrade chat GPT to the pro plan first and then from there we can start setting this up. So, I'm just going to go inside clawbot and say, okay, how to set this up? Do I need chat GBT pro plan? Then use openi CLI. And I'm also just gonna have a quick Google here to figure out how to do it. If you have any questions as we go along, feel free to ask. So, we have some options here. I'm just going to plug this into Claudebot. Let's have a look. So, research this, then give me the instructions and we'll get this set up. Fergus says, "Hello, boss. the same thing, but it's just renamed recently. DJ says, "Is this an addition or a whole new bot? " So, basically, what we want to do is swap out the old API that we have in and switch to the new one, which I'm going to do now. All right. So, you can see here it's given us some instructions. Let's have a look at this. So, if you have a chat GBT plus or pro account, codeex is included. Step one, install codec. So, I think we do

### Upgrading to ChatGPT Pro [1:42]

need to upgrade. Let me just have a look here. Yes, we're on the go plan right now. We should be able to switch this to pro and then we can use codeex directly. So, let's switch to pro. Yeah, it looks like you can use it on um plus as well. Why is it not letting me upgrade? What is it doing? H interesting. All right, I'm going to try this on my phone instead. One sec. I can't upgrade there. That's no good. All right, let's try logging out and we'll log in on a different account. It's good for you to see this because you can see like it's not that smooth in reality unlike some YouTubers who might, you know, make this look really easy. So, we're going to upgrade via this account instead. Let's see if that works. There we go. Perfect. All right. So, we've done that with Chat GPT. Now, we should be able to go inside mobile and set up the next step. So, it says if you have Chat GPT plus or pro installed, Codeex included. So, first

### Installing Codeex CLI [2:33]

thing you want to do is just install Codeex. Let's try that. We'll set up a new window here. Then, it's going to download Codeex like you can see. should be able to run this with the codeex command. And if we just sign in, let's see if we can get this working. ML says, "Hey guys, anyone know a tutorial for migrating from claw to mobile? " So, it's literally the same thing. Like, you don't need to migrate or anything like that. It's uh it's already included. All right. So, we've done step number one, which is signing in with chat GPT. And then step number two, I think we just need to sign in like this. So we got codeex running there. Let's open up a new window. I think just ask clawbot how to migrate. That's what we just did. And then I think we need to do the on boarding again with the terminal command. There we go. So, we'll just install the latest version. Carlos says, "The app is amazing. I'm trying it out, too. " It is pretty good when it works. All right. It says, "Good news. Codeex is already logged in. If I buy Claude's membership for 1 month, is that enough? How do you have it? " Yeah. See, you don't want to be using Claude for this. Um cuz they just changed recently and said that you can't use Claude directly with if you're using the O from Claude. You can't use that with Anthropic. A lot of people are saying as well, don't run it on a VBS. I VPS already, but yeah. So, you can see an example right here. Otherwise, what I'll do if this doesn't work, I'll probably use um yeah, opening eyes API instead. Let's see if this works. This could completely break it. I've had that happen before. So, we'll see what happens next. I may have to just uninstall and reinstall it. You see, we've said yes, do it, and then it's just not replying now. Yeah, there you go. Look, failed completely. All right, let's try this.

### Troubleshooting & Reinstalling [4:36]

Ian says, "Just go to the terminal and type in mold on board," which you can see I've done right here, but it's not working. All right, let's go ahead with this. Is there any way to watch your videos in Spanish? Yeah, if you wait 24 hours after it's uploaded, um YouTube will autodub this directly. So, let's go to the GitHub here. You should install claw code inside your machine. It's easier to debug that way. Yeah, that might be I might do that in a sec if this doesn't work. I think it's building out now. We just had to reinstall everything. Pull in the GitHub again, update it, and then I think it's beginning to work, but let's see. Sporter says, "Stick around. We are going to log to Oorth on codeex and open API. There we go. By the way, I don't think using um using mobile with chat GPT probably still good but not great. Let's see how it performs in a sec. ### Removing Claude Oauth Access [6:41]

Clawbot is now Mobot and also Anthropic have said you can't use the Oorth for logging into Mobot. So you want to use something else instead. A lot of people have recommended the CLI from codeex. So that's what I've installed and started running today. And what I'm going to do here is say create a step-by-step guide for switching over. Right? And you can see this is switched and I'm going to say okay delete the claw oorth. Um one thing that I'm going to do as well is delete slash remove access to me at julianoldie. com. So, those are two things that I'm just changing because um seen some people talk about like issues with emails. You know, if you receive an email from someone that can kind of manipulate Clawbot to do certain stuff. So, you just want to be careful with this stuff. This is what I'm doing today. All right. As you can see here, we've set this all up now. And you can we've got a full step-by-step guide here on exactly how to set this up, how to reinstall it, how to go from uh that to this. I'm going to take this like so. So, just to recap, here's what we did. Before we were using mobile with Claude. Now, we've switched over to Codeex. We have deleted Claude Oorth and I've also removed my Google account access as well just to be safe. I think it's always good to do that. We can always run a Maltbot doctor check here as well inside the terminal just to double check. So if we go inside terminal here, open up a new window and you can run the doctor using this terminal command. But basically that's how to do it, right? So, just to recap on the steps, I upgraded to chat GBT Pro, reinstalled GitHub, um, Molbot, asked Molbot to delete Claude OF, and then asked to switch over to the OAF with chat GPT codeex. Why have we done that? Because Anthropic have stopped um, allowing OAF usage to mobile. And also this way we can still use mobile without worrying about tokens so much. And also you can switch it to codeex and it's pretty simple and easy right like you can see today you can do it in a few minutes. So that's basically the whole process set up. If you want to get the

So Sam says, just to confirm using claude CLI with the subscription plan, I've seen it happen on X couple of times, right? So you can see here for example, Philillip put oh no malt and then you can see here they've been you know they had some issues with claud as well. So just being careful really. I think that's probably one of the best ways to do it. Switch over unless open AI say you can't use it as well and then we'll have to change again. But I want to just show people how you can switch easily, how quick it is and also how you can do this. Right. And then if we go back to clawbot here we asked it to switch and remove the old anthropic profile as you can see right which is taken out. So if we say okay are you working now just double check this is working okay so we'll put inside the chat are you working and it says yes I'm online working now removed Gmail account access and remove claude oalf access and the gateway restarted cleanly. So, it's working. It's actually seem seems to be like faster to respond than before as well, which is awesome.
