It demonstrates a workflow that starts by using ChatGPT web search to research and verify NotebookLM’s latest slide features, compiling the findings into a single NotebookLM-ready source document, and uploading it as a “single source of truth.” For design inspiration, it shows finding high-performing presentation styles on Fiverr, taking a screenshot, and using Google Labs Stitch (with Gemini 3.0 Flash) to extract design principles into a “style DNA” spec (palette, typography, layout rules, visual language, and patterns). It then shows using NotebookLM’s slide deck creator with the pencil icon for a 5,000-character “mega prompt,” including “vibe designing” with keyword-only prompts, and using the Revise feature to make granular edits (e.g., changing orange to red, switching to photorealistic 4K images) across specific slides before generating a new deck. The video also walks through importing exported PowerPoint slides into Google Slides, removing the NotebookLM logo via cropping or covering it with a color-matched rectangle, and using a Google Slides AI tool (“nano banana”) to edit or generate slide content (e.g., replacing an image with a bust of George Washington, generating images or infographics). Finally, it shows recording presentation-style videos within Google Slides using speaker spotlight and converting slides to video with AI voiceover and background music, framing the updates as part of Google rolling Gemini features across NotebookLM, Google Slides, and Google Vids, and ends by directing viewers to a follow-up video about turning NotebookLM into a research agent. 00:00 Intro 00:41 Research First 01:51 Steal Like a Designer 02:27 Extract Style DNA with Google Labs Stitch 03:38 Mega Prompts + Vibe Design Keywords 05:41 Revise Slides Directly Inside Notebook LM 07:35 Granular Revisions 09:06 Move to Google Slides: Import PPT + Remove the Notebook LM Logo 10:57 AI Edits in Google Slides (Nano Banana) 11:59 Turn Slides into Video 13:31 Conclusion HOSTINGER (Use my link + code COREY) n8n hosting / VPS setup → https://hostinger.com/corey Website hosting (WordPress) → https://hostinger.com/coreymcclain Email tools (Hostinger Reach) → https://hostinger.com/coreymcclain10 Use code COREY at checkout. Intro

Notebook LM can generate slides that look really good. I'm talking about super clean and professional, but most people create the most generic and basic slide deck when it's so easy to get slide decks that look as if they were designed by a graphic designer. And we're also going to cover Notebook LM's newest update where you're able to edit your slides inside of Notebook LM. Yes, you heard me right. We can now edit our slides inside of Notebook LM. But that's not the only update. We can also export our slides as PowerPoint slides and there are so many other updates that we can do with our slides from Notebook LM and we're going to cover them all in this video. So, make sure you stay until the end to catch all of the updates. The

Research First

first thing that most people do inside Notebook LM is they use web search, fast search, or deep research. But we're not doing any of those things for this notebook. Instead, we're going to tell ChatGBT to use web search to find the latest information about Notebook LM's new slide deck features. This is going to allow us to research so much quicker and verify what's fact and what's fiction so we can move quickly with creating our slide decks. Now that we're getting our source table, the next thing you want to do is quickly review these sources, look at the summaries, and determine if you want to use these sources or not. And this is the number one method for actually vetting your materials before you bring them into Notebook LM. Now that I have my source table and my facts I can safely claim on camera. The next thing I want to do is run this prompt that says now rewrite everything into a single notebook LM ready source document. So now let's copy this response. Let's go back to notebook LM. Click upload a source. Copy text. Paste our text. Click insert. Copy this title. name our notebook. And now we have our single source of truth uploaded to notebook Ellen. One place that I love

to go is Fiverr because Fiverr has all types of gigs. And all you have to do is search for presentation and you're immediately going to see a lot of presentation gigs that people are purchasing. And I would not be surprised if some of these presentations are being created with Notebook LM right now. And so if you see one that catches your eye, just click on it to get a better look. And then you can slide through it to see if it's something that you actually like. And so I found this one. So let's click on full screen. And then the next thing we want to do is we want to click on shift command 4 and take a screenshot. And the next place we want

Extract Style DNA with Google Labs Stitch

to go is a website named Stitch. It's a Google Labs product and it's at stitch. withgoogle. com. And this is a experiment design tool that they're rolling out where you can use Gemini 3. 0 No flash. You can use thinking with three pro redesign and you can idiate. Bring a new problem to solve and see solutions. And it'll help you build an app dashboard or a website design through visual prompting, screenshots, websites, and so forth. If you click on the plus button, you can upload files such as screenshots, a sketch that you made on a napkin, or visual inspiration, or you can import or add a website URL. We're going to paste in our screenshot and we're going to run this prompt that says extract the design principles from this presentation screenshot. Output a concise style DNA spec with color palette, typography, Google font alternatives, layout rules, shape, visual language, image style, slide patterns, etc. And it's worked just that fast because this is Gino 3. 0 Flash. After you copy the response and the style DNA, let's go back to Notebook

LM. The first thing I want to do is just click to create a slide deck just like we normally would. And we're going to let Notebook LM create any slide deck that it wants. But the second slide deck we're going to do is we're going to click this little pencil icon. And a lot of people overlook this, but Notebook LM gives you 5,000 characters to use Mega Prompts to actually design your assets. So you can be as detailed and specific as you want to when creating your slide decks. Not just telling Notebook LM how you want them to look, but also describing what you want on each individual slide. So this is what a basic slide deck looks like that we just ran through Notebook LM. We didn't add a prompt or anything. This is what most people are getting right now with Notebook LM. And you can see that even though it looks decent, it's clean, it's very basic. Uh here you can see how well the slide deck actually looks when we get a little bit of inspiration. And so this is much better than the previous one. But I still think that we can do better than this. And this is the final slide deck. And I think that this is the best iteration. And actually the way that I got this slide deck was completely unique because I didn't take inspiration from the website. I use the same prompt. But if I show the prompt and you look at the top, you can see that I vibe designed it. So instead of me giving full sentences or phrases or colors and describing how I wanted Notebook LM to design the slide deck, I simply gave it phrases, words that would describe it. Notebook LM slide update, prompt revisions, luxury aesthetic, glass morphism, high contrast, clean typography, bold headlines, modern sand serif, strong hierarchy, large lines. So, even if you don't want to extract design principles from somewhere else on the internet, you can simply use words that you believe describe what you're looking for, even if you can't put those words into full sentences. I put this

Revise Slides Directly Inside Notebook LM

video out about two months ago, and it is completely obsolete now because you no longer need Canva to actually edit your Notebook LM slides. And don't get me wrong, Canva was a great place to just come in and click eraser and then highlight the notebook lm, click erase, and then just watch Canva absolutely take it away. But we don't even need to do that anymore because we can edit our slides right here inside of Notebook LM. So, we're going to come back to the basic slide deck and we're going to click this revise button. And for the first slide, this is all we're going to do. We're going to vibe design this slide. Dark mode luxury aesthetic glass morphism millennial minimal Google. And then all I'm going to do is click on generate new deck. And so we still have the basic intact as is, but it's working on the other slide right now. But in the meantime, let's say that I come right here to the one that I actually like the best. I can either click right here on these three dots and I can download this as a PDF or I can download as a PowerPoint or I can open it and I can click right here for more options and I can download as a PowerPoint from here as well. And now we have our edited slide deck. Let's click and open it to see what it did. And now we see that this new slide looks so much better than the previous. And if we look at them side by side, we can see that it's essentially the same slide, same images, same icons, same everything, but I vibe designed the second one, just stating random words for how I wanted it to look. And this is what I got. 100x improvement with the design and the presentation of the slide just by using that simple method that anyone can use. But it doesn't stop there. I can say

Granular Revisions

something like change the orange to red and generate new deck. You see that the orange has been changed to red because notebook LM is giving us granular control over the slide decks that we create. So that there is absolutely no need for us to go into Canva. But those two edits were very surface level. Let's see how it performs when we try to make a very critical or drastic change. So I'm going to click on the revise button again. And this time I'm going to say make this slide deck photo realalistic and only use 4K photos. Generate new deck. And just for clarification, the best way to do this is to go to the slides you actually want to change. Click revise. Type in your change. Go to the next slide. third And then once you've gone through all the slides that you want to change, you'll see that there are four pending changes because I know that by now you're probably wondering why in the world does Corey keep generating all of these extra slide decks. And so Notebook LM did a very good job of using photos. This is a real room. You can see the floor and the line along the wall. You can see that it tried to do a little bit better with the icons and items here. So essentially, you would work through the slide deck and tell Notebook LM what to change and then send all of your requests over at once. But that's not even the best part about this. The next

Move to Google Slides: Import PPT + Remove the Notebook LM Logo

place you want to go is Google Slides and you want to start a new presentation. And then I want you to click on file, import slides, upload, browse, choose your PowerPoint slides, either select individual slides you want to bring in or select all slides, keep original theme, import slides, rightclick title slide, delete. And now we have all of our slides inside of Google Slides. Now, this is why you no longer need Canva. There are a couple of ways that you can remove the notebook LM logo in the bottom right corner. The first method is to click on the slide and then click right here on the crop image. Take this bar, drag it just above the notebook LM logo, click anywhere outside of the image, click on the image, and then drag it back down until it snaps to the bottom. The second method is a lot faster than that one, but it only works when you have designs like this with a solid background color. Click on the image and then choose shape. And then we want something like this rectangle. And you see I have a little plus button. I'm going to draw a rectangle over notebook LM. Then we're going to click border color. And we're going to choose the eyropper. Come somewhere on the slide deck and click. And then we're going to come here for the fill color. Same thing. Click the eyropper. Come somewhere down here and click. Then I want you to click anywhere outside of it. And you see that it's gone. You can see that it is sticking out a little bit. So, let's bring that till it snaps in. And now all you have to do is copy. See if we can get this positioned just right. Right there. Now we have it. So now what we want to do is click this copy and then go to the next slide number three. And then commandV paste. And just like that, it's covered up and gone. And you just go to each slide and paste. And it still gets better because now that we have the

AI Edits in Google Slides (Nano Banana)

slides inside of Google Slides, all we have to do is click on any particular slide and then click on this banana. This is nano banana most likely. And we can describe any changes or create a new slide right here. So even if we didn't make the edit that we wanted to make inside of notebook LM, we still have control over these slides. Change the chiseled bust of the man to a chiseled bust of George Washington. Keep everything else designed exactly as it is. And look at that. That is good. So, it changed the image from this Aristotle looking fella to George Washington. And all I have to do is click, choose replace, and now it's inside of my slide deck. And instead of just generating a slide, you can generate an image or infographic right here inside of Google Slides. That's not even the best part about all of this. Let's just say that after creating this

Turn Slides into Video

content, you want to turn around and create video content with this. All you have to do is click on this speaker spotlight and you can choose either one of these images for where you want to be placed on the screen. Then click the record button. Click record a new video. Make sure it has access. And now you are inside the video. And you can press record. You can share the audio. There's going to be a short countdown. And now you're recording your video content right here inside of Google Slide. And you're doing a presentation. And you can walk through it just like this. So you don't need a lot of the other tools that you might use. If you just take the time to design your slide decks, depending on the type of information that you're teaching, this could be a good way for you to quickly create your content. And these are different methods for the PIP that I can use. So, it's just so much that you can do stop. I can save to drive. I can close it out. But let's say that I don't want to be in the video. Then I have convert to video right here. I can click this button, then convert. And now it's going to take my slide deck or the slides that I choose and it's going to convert them into a video. So let's say I choose the first three import. And it's even going to include AI voice over and background music. So I'm pretty certain that it's probably using Vo 3. 1. When we look at this update with the bird's eye view, we see

Conclusion

that it was so much bigger than just being able to edit slides because we see that Google is rolling out Gemini and these various features throughout the entire ecosystem so that you can create something with Notebook LM, work with it in Google Slides and then finally work with it further more in Google Vids. But maybe you're someone who's been using Notebook LM for research and you don't feel as though you've been getting the professionalgrade research from it that you thought you would get. Then I want you to check out this next video where I show you how I turn notebook element into a research agent for any topic. So, if you got value out of the video, do me a huge solid and hit the like button, subscribe to the channel, and as always, take care. Have a good day and I'll see you in this next
