Introduction and Addressing Facebook Monetization

Before I show you how I exploded my Facebook page and gained almost 100,000 followers in just the last couple of days, I need to address the elephant in the room because I know you have a lot of questions about the Facebook content monetization program. So, first let's clear everything up. One thing I want to make perfectly clear about this program is that this is Facebook monetization's final form. Seriously, expect very few major updates from here on out. Much like YouTube's program, any changes will likely be small and happen far apart. Now, they might throw out individual bonuses sometimes to spark engagement, but the core program is pretty much set. The main thing that could change is your pay rate, possibly based on the type of content you create. This will probably be subjective. You might just feel like you're earning less for the same stuff. And honestly, there's no way for us to know exactly how they'll value different content, like you being in the video versus talking about someone else. That's something you'll have to figure out for your own page and strategy. But

Critical Timeline for Facebook Monetization Changes

here's the critical timeline. The old performance bonus ads on reals and instream ads are all ending completely after August 31st, 2025. That's it. It's done. So today is April 27th. So you got about four months left on those. So, the advice to stay in the performance bonus for now, if you're earning more there, it's decent advice shortterm, but after August 31st, 2025, if you're eligible, you'll automatically be switched over to the new content monetization program anyway. If you don't have access to the old programs and want the new one, they haven't released specific eligibility requirements just yet, but you can express interest. I'll drop a link in the description below. If you have a big following elsewhere, like YouTube, Instagram, or Tik Tok, definitely share those links when you sign up, but there are no guarantees, even though they will

Facebook's Crackdown on Spammy Content

consider it. Also, something that's big news on Facebook right now is that they're finally cracking down on spammy content. This is likely aimed at all the loweffort AI generated stuff people are flooding the platform with. So, if you're building a personal brand, that's actually good news. You're likely focused on providing real value for your business, not just chasing monetization quick wins. So, this crackdown is long overdue. How will they execute it, we're just going to have to see. They've tried something similar on Instagram to reward original creators when others repost their stuff and go viral. It seems like Facebook is finally making a real effort to support creators who make original meaningful content. even though they've said they were going to do this in the past, but we haven't really seen it happen because a lot of times people will still repost your content and go viral, whereas your video just kind of sits there. But we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, this means you get the engagement, followers, and recognition you actually deserve if it goes well. And no matter how we look at this, this is a positive step. Okay, now

Gaining Followers and Engagement Strategies

back to those followers that you came to this video for. Even though this video is about gaining followers, remember this crucial point. In the new monetization program, you get paid for engagement, not just followers. So, most of your engagement will likely come from people who don't follow you. That's just how the algorithm works now. So, keep that in mind as I show you how I got nearly 100,000 followers, but even more importantly, 81 million views and millions of interactions basically overnight. So, the context of this is so important because this growth wasn't

The NFL Draft and Viral Content

typical. It happened because of a very specific major event that captured everyone's attention this past weekend, the NFL draft. It wasn't just some magic content formula I discovered. So, I'm not going to try to position myself like a guru. However, I absolutely believe the principles behind this are repeatable in any niche. And I'm going to break that system down and the lessons I learned from it. But first, let me show you the numbers. Okay? So
3:49

Analyzing the Numbers and Engagement

look here on my phone, you can see that I gained 111,717 net followers over the last 28 days. But if you look at the graph below, you can see that it's at zero. And there's about one little hump right there until just about a day or two ago because I haven't been posting on this page. Now, it says net because yeah, I probably lost five or six thousand along the way. But here's the thing. Don't ever sweat losing followers or subscribers on any platform. For every person who leaves, trust me, five or 10 more are ready to join the party if your content is hitting the mark. Look at the net follows by content and you can see that the vast majority, 97. 9% came directly from reals. Only 1. 9% from regular posts. And check this out. Under following type, 85. 8% of the people engaging were nonfollowers. Only 14. 2% were existing followers. So here's what most people miss. They post once about a trending topic or event and they think, "Okay, I've done my duty. I'm done. " That is not the case. When you have an event within your niche that everyone is talking about, you want to make sure that you're consistently and frequently and aggressively posting around that topic. When the NFL draft popped off, I didn't just post once. I went aggressive. I posted around 35 different reels related to that topic in about a 24 to 36 hour window. If you look at the engagement numbers again, there were 4. 3 million engagements. That's a ridiculous increase because this page was basically dormant before the weekend. The baseline for followers and engagement was near zero. This shows that even a dead page can be revived with the right content strategy during a highinterest moment. So instead of one post, think multiple post on a hot topic. Why? Because each piece of content reaches new people. This is especially true on platforms with fast distribution like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, where content also has a short shelf life. If 15 followers see it again and swipe past, who cares? You're potentially reaching 85 new people out of every 100 views and getting paid for that engagement. If you look right here at this video on April 25th, 9:36 a. m., that's when I first started posting. It got 129,460 views. And from there, I just kept posting reels. And as we scroll, look at the views in the right column. Some modest numbers. Yeah. But look, several went viral, hitting millions of views. Now, look at the overall page stats for the last 28 days. Over 81 almost 82 million views. That's over a 2. 3 million% increase. 4. 3 million engagement. Gained over 111,000 followers. The page is at 163,000 now. and it was just at 50,000 followers a few days ago. Remember, almost all of this growth came from real. So, Facebook is pushing reals hard right now. So, what drove this? Part of it was tapping into the number one story surrounding the NFL draft this weekend. And that event created a lot of buzz. Now, that's a cool story, but how can we take these insights and replicate this kind of growth regardless of our niche? That's

The Rapid System for Organic Growth

where my rapid system comes in. It's a five-step framework that I developed from what happened this weekend that I believe can help anyone grow their Facebook page organically. So, let me walk you through exactly how to use it.
7:11

Rallying

Now, the R stands for rally because you need to find a niche, a topic, or an event within your niche that people can rally around emotionally. Now, this is important, but it's something that people either love or hate. Honestly, controversy drives growth on social media. While many people follow my page because they agreed with the sentiment, the negative comments and reactions from critics massively fuel the engagement and the reach. If people weren't hating, it still would have grown, but probably not this big this fast. Remember, the best response to rage bait is to scroll past it. Because when you engage, you're only helping that content grow and go further. Now, how do we find these topics? One easy way to do it is to use Google Trends to see what's hot and it's going to show you what everybody is talking about on the internet right now. You can also check Twitter's trending topics. If you cover current events, jump what people are talking about and then validate it. When you post about a trend, watch the comments. Is your phone blowing up? Are people actively discussing it? Is it getting mainstream news coverage? If yes, then you found something potent and you need to post aggressively. If a topic hits all those marks, don't stop posting about it until that window is closed. Capture that opportunity. Remember that 85% of the content you post is nonfollower reach. Each post is going to find new eyes, but
8:36

Algorithm Triggers

the A stands for algorithm trigger. Right now, the trigger is reals. Facebook is pushing reals heavily. So, if you want to be discovered and you want to grow, especially with the potential Tik Tok ban looming, then you want Facebook and Instagram reels to fill that void because that's what they're hoping happens. Now, something I discovered and I know that it's just one account, but I have 81 million views. So, I do have a large data segment to kind of see some stats and some data from, but either way, the sweet spot for my viral reels was 15 to 30 seconds. Facebook's insights confirmed this for my content. Something else that I did is I turned on the share to story feature. You can turn this feature on and it will automatically share your reals to your story and I do believe your other content as well. Now, the reason that this is key is because stories primarily reach your existing followers. So, the metric is flipped with stories. 85% of followers saw my stories and 15% nonfollowers saw them. This keeps my current audience engaged and it also helped bring some of them back to the content and helped me earn more money from the content that I was posting. Now, the next thing you want to look at is your cadence. So, forget about a rigid schedule when you're riding a viral wave. If something is happening in the news, let's say your content is about politics and something that everyone is talking about is happening right now in the political landscape, then you want to make sure that you double down and post as frequently as possible. And if you look back at my feed, sometimes it was 10 minutes apart, 20 minutes apart. Sometimes I would upload three reels back to back. Just gauge the wave and just ask yourself, can it sustain this right now? and just go back to the R, check the comments, look at the engagement, look at the velocity. Is this topic really that hot? If the distribution is fast and the engagement is high, then chances are it probably is. You can keep posting as much as you want and you probably won't see any throttle to your content. Something else you probably want to do is look at batching content. If you find out that you're in the middle of a hot wave, start recording several videos at once so you can be ready to upload them when you get ready. And when it comes to the captions and the hashtags, keep the captions short and simple. Most of mine had just a few words and some of them had none. Avoid too many hashtags because Facebook flags that as spam.
10:59

Infrastructure and Duplication

Now, now the I in this whole system stands for infrastructure. But you want to invite the people engaging with your content to follow your Facebook page. And you can do this easily inside Meta Business Suite. You can go in daily and invite people who reacted or commented on your post to follow your page. So, there's usually a daily limit around 1,000 invites, I think. But this is an easy way to convert engaged viewers into followers. If I had time to do this every day, then my page would probably be at 200,000 right now. But the next thing you want to do is leverage stories. As I mentioned before, stories are for your followers. So, use polls, Q& A, stickers, all the interactive tools Facebook gives you. Get your followers engaging in your stories and that engagement can drive them back to your main feed like real shared to stories boosting those views and your earnings. And finally, the D stands for duplicate. Have a cross-platform amplification strategy. If content is exploding on Facebook, what do you think could happen on Instagram or Tik Tok? Especially if you adapt that content for that platform and you don't just repost it blindly. you modify the content so that it fits the vibe and audience of each platform. Now, Tik Tok and Facebook can be very different. And if you create content in app like Tik Tok or another platform and you need to download it for repurposing, there are plenty of websites that have removed the watermark for free for you. And so that's the rapid system in a nutshell. This weekend was crazy, but these are the principles that drove that growth. Remember, rally around a hot engaging topic, something people love or even hate. Use the algorithm trigger on Facebook. Right now, it's reals. On Instagram, it could be carousels. Maintain an aggressive posting cadence while the topic is hot. Build your infrastructure to nurture followers, invites, and stories. Duplicate your success across platforms. If you got value out of this video, smash the like button and subscribe to the channel. And hey, if you want to learn everything about the new Facebook content monetization program, the one you'll have to switch to after August 31st, 2025 when the bonus programs end, then you need to watch this next video right here. Click it now and I'll see you over there. Thanks for watching and as always, take care. Have a good day and I'll see you in the next
