New Google AI Search Canvas Update is INSANE!

Google just turned their search bar into a full AI workspace and it's free for everyone. It's called Google Canvas and it just rolled out in the US. Um, which means that you can basically use inside AI mode the new version of canvas. So you can see an example of it being used right here. So you just select canvas from the dropown and then you can type in what you want and from there you are good to go. So let let's see what sort of outputs it gets. Basically, you know, with the users inside Google and AI mode in the US, you can now get access to what is a website builder. Now, the

interesting thing about this is basically instead of people going to websites or clicking the blue links or anything like that, they can basically create their own web pages whilst they're searching. And you know, most people don't even realize what they're doing here, right? But essentially, what you're doing is you're creating your own landing page with the search query that you have inside Google. And so this is what I see as the future of AI search. It's a big update from Google and basically people can just enable the canvas option inside AI mode. Describe

what they want to create like a dashboard for tracking scholarships for trip itinerary and then they get a first draft in the canvas side panel that pulls the freshest information from the web and Google's knowledge graph. Right? So it's basically pulling in information in real time and coding in real time with the AI search mode which is pretty crazy. Again, it's rolling out to everyone in the US in English, but bear in mind like these modes always come out later to um everyone else, right? So, for example, if we go to AI mode inside Google here, number one, it's super fast, but number two, we don't have the canvas available, right? So, if you want the canvas, you need to be in the US, but gradually these features roll out. Like for example, AI mode was not originally available for everyone and then it gradually rolls out later. So that's basically how it works. You can also for example use this for like trip itineraries just sort of bring ideas to life which is pretty cool. So I think this is going to be like a really interesting way to see how Google like grows as a tool because more and more people will be using um Google not just for searching but for like building out stuff with AI directly as well. And basically people are coding without realizing it, right? It's creating the HTML on the right hand side panel which means you're basically making everyone in the US or everyone whoever uses these canvas AI modes basically turning them into a coder, right? Even if they don't realize what they're doing, which is

crazy. The other thing I think is like people going to stay longer on the page, right? So instead of like going to other websites, people going to stay longer inside Google. That's really good for Google because if they put ads inside AI mode, then um obviously they're going to grow quite a lot as well. Now, if you've never used Canvas before, this is essentially what's going to happen, right? So, obviously, I'm not in the US, so I can't test it. But what will happen is like you'll see a canvas like this and then people will be searching for stuff and they can build whatever they want, right? So, if they're like, "Okay, give me the latest AI news from today. " Basically, Google Canvas will create something like this where you've got the search and the response from AI on the left hand side and then it'll build out a web page on the right hand side or you know a dashboard or whatever people are looking for. So they can get like dynamic search results on the go which means they're much less likely to go to other websites and more likely to get the answer inside Google, right? Which is perfect. So you can see for example um if someone was searching for the AI news instead of just getting it from a website by clicking a blue link they would just get a website on the right hand side that's fully coded out. So it is a big upgrade. It's a big change to Google directly. Um this is an interesting one. So someone said you know Google has too many products to understand what case use everything for. Yeah I would agree like the e I mean the main thing is like the ecosystem is growing right. So like already before even AI came out or even before Google started launching all these public AI projects there was already so many different Google tools depending on what you need and I think they're just growing that ecosystem even though it's difficult to understand the use cases they are like

the fastest growing um AI company after Chad GPT. So I think Chad GPT is the most market share out of the big three and the big three are uh Google Anthropic and Chad GBT. So it's like chat are right up there. Then you've got for example Google and then you've got Claude underneath. So um Google have become like the top second biggest AI company which is pretty awesome for them. Says give a claude code alternative like claw code. Yeah. OMA um has open source models, right? And then you can run this inside claw code. So for example, you can run like cloud models like Kim 2. 5 with OMA um with open claw but also with claw code as well. So if you want to run free models with claw code and get the power of claw code but with an open source model that's how you can do it. But that's basically it. That is the update. That's how it works etc. It will change the internet you

know for sure. You know, Google Canvas is a brand new tool inside Google search. It's like a whiteboard that lives right inside your front screen, right? So, you type what you want. Canvas builds it. Um, and it is available to the US right now. If you want to get started with this, you just go to google. com/ai and that will take you to AI mode and that's where you can start using canvas as long as you're inside the US. Bear in mind as well, you can already create images with Nana Banana for free inside AI mode, which is absolutely crazy if you ask me. It's amazing how they roll that out. Then if you're wondering, okay, like what canvas actually build? What are the use cases here? Well, like let's say, for example, someone's using Google. Well, they could create like a scholarship tracker, right? If they're a student, they could, for example, um build out their own apps. People could code their own apps even if they've never coded before. And you know if you give the power of coding to most of the US like that is unbelievable when you think about it. Creative writing would be really good. Coding tasks like building out websites and landing pages. And if you're wondering okay like how is this different from regular Google search? So old Google um was just a bunch of links right whereas for example with Google canvas it basically builds the thing for you as you go right as where's rough said Google is officially turning search into a fully interactive workspace and also it remembers you right this is about most people are missing like you could have canvas across multiple sessions so like you start a session today and then you come back to it tomorrow and people spend more time on Google which is great for them as a company and this is not like a small update it's really changing what Google is. Previously, it was a search engine, whereas really now you're turning into like a an interactive whiteboard or an interactive coding tool, right? Absolutely crazy. So, it's pretty genius what they've done. And it's genius how they've sort of established themselves as one of the biggest companies in the world for AI. So, thanks so much for watching. If you
