Collaborating with The Met to Awaken “Sleeping Beauties” with AI

do I sit here yes right there I love these in Bolton came to us with his vision of what he wanted to do with Sleeping Beauties I thought there was incredibly inspiring because his vision was to bring this exhibition to life through Ai and making people participants not just passive observers we've also used AI to reawaken a wedding Ensemble by Kos s and through a custom version of chat GPT you can have a conversation with his wearer the socialite nasty Potter the whole experience of going to a museum becomes more active and more custom to the thing that you are interested in everyone feeling good Natalie was a 1930s socialite she came from a prominent family I think part of the reason I love this project is that we're bringing back someone to life we collaborated with the Met for a number of months the Met gathered more information from newspapers and from um her relatives about her life it was very fun to be able to focus on a very specific person and the model even with just a few simple instructions able to paint the picture of what she might have been interested in the exhibit we're using both our most advanced language model to power the chat with Natalie experience but there's also a Easter egg we used Sora to bring back to life natal's wedding photograph if you ask her about the photograph in the chat experience you can press a button to reanimate it I really hope that this technology can help us create a richer relationship with knowledge and creativity and with these Technologies we can kind of overcome some of the constraints of reality the only constraint that is our imagination
