So, introduced their new iOS voice assistant, and voice assistant uses web browsing and multi-app actions to do many different things that you would find useful on a day-to-day basis. In this video, I'll show you guys how even as a beginner, you can get started and taking advantage of something that actually helps you on your day-to-day basis. One of the craziest features that I've actually found that this thing can do is it can actually book things for you. And when I mean that, I mean it can actually go out and book a journey for you in Uber. So, what I can do is on the bottom right, I can click this button here. And now I'm going to enter my voice mode. Hey, Perplexity, I actually need you to book me a trip from Selfridges in Oxford Street to Gatwick Airport. Can you please book that on Uber? I've now booked the Uber from Selfridges on Oxford Street to Gatwick Airport. You should be all set. Okay, that was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much. Now, even with the Uber app, I did have to ask it sometimes if it got the location wrong and it will just go ahead and fix that. So, if you do manage to say the wrong location, you can change that and it will actually change that as well. So, what I'm going to do now is I'm going to show you some of the other features that are really cool. So, let's take a look at some of the more location-based ones. So, what I can now do is I can say, "Hey, I'm actually at Oxford Street and I would like to see in London if there are any steak restaurants nearby. Could you find me some? " I found some great steak restaurants near Oxford Street in London. One popular option is Angus Steakhouse located at Oxford Circus. Would you like me to get directions or make a reservation for you? Yeah. Can I get directions from Selfridges to the Flat Iron one, please? Now, in this scenario, what it actually did was it actually took my current location, which is why I've actually blurred that out because I don't want anyone arriving at my house. But the point I'm trying to make here is that it actually does things very well if you are out and about and location-based queries do work really well which is surprising considering the fact that this is what Siri was supposed to be. Now another cool feature that I'm actually going to be looking at now is of course the things that it can do on your phone. So forget location based things. Let's take a look at how it can control my YouTube account. So I can actually search for different things on YouTube. So what I'm going to do is now search for my latest video. Hey, can you pull up uh the AI Grid's latest YouTube video? I'm not sure what video they made. I think it was a news one. Could you pull that up really quick? So, in this video, I'm going to give you guys the full timeline of what happens next in AI. Of course, this is pure speculation because nobody knows what's going to happen next, but this is the best guess coming from someone that used to work at OpenAI, but then left due to concerns that OpenAI. Okay, so just there we saw that they did actually pull up my video. It wasn't the latest video, but nonetheless, it still did work pretty well. Hey, can you pull up a video about GPT5? I want to know the latest rumors, leaks, and Sam Alman teased the GBT 4. 5 weeks before its public release. And then he promised to deliver the GBT 5. And so right there, you can see why this is so powerful because immediately what happens is the video starts playing and the AI gives you a video that is really relevant to your query. So, it's really, really effective because it's able to search for different things and using your voice, it's able to do these actions for you. Now, not only is it good with YouTube, it is actually good with many of the other things on iPhone. So, let me show you guys other things that it's also good at. One of the things that it's good at is podcast control. So, I'm going to show you guys it being able to pull up a podcast I listen to quite frequently. Hey, Perplexity, can you pull up the latest episode of the Billboard podcast, please? No, I wouldn't like to end our session just yet. I'd like to keep talking. So, right there you can see that I can literally handsree pull up the latest episode of any podcast and start playing that immediately. This is something that is remarkably useful. Maybe you're handsree you're cooking or you're doing something. Perplexity chat is going to be really, really useful for you to be able to do that. Now, Perplexity also has Apple Music integration. So, if you're someone who loves Apple Music, I currently don't have Apple Music, but you can actually get it to play songs from things that you need. So, for example, I can ask it to play any song in Apple Music. I'm going to try it now and show you guys that it's able to open up the application. Hey, Plexi, can you use Apple Music to play a popular song? Sure. What's the name of the song you'd like to hear? Play something by Dual Lia. Playing New Rules by Duual Lia on Apple Music. Enjoy. And right there, you can see that provided that you have an Apple Music subscription, you're able to immediately play your favorite songs at the moment that you request them. It's really, really cool because not only is able to do that, it's also able to handle vague

requests. Can you open up Apple Music and play that song from that one Minecraft music? Play the song Sweden by C418, which is one of the popular tracks from the Minecraft soundtrack. Let's start playing Sweden by C418 from the Minecraft soundtrack. Okay, so that wasn't what I wanted. Let me try one more time. Hey, can you play a popular song from a Minecraft movie that was recently released? The, you know, song by Jack Black. I think it was about Lava Chicken. And here you can see literally it's open in Apple Music. If I just click the open button, it's going to open in Apple Music and I'm able to immediately access my song. Something that's super useful. So, so far I've shown you guys three different things that it's able to do. But it's not just that. Perplexity iOS Voice is a productivity app. Also, let me show you guys how you can actually add reminders using the built-in reminders app. How it can also create calendars and compose emails using natural language. Yeah. So, I'm actually going on a holiday on the 29th of April. Could you actually add that to my calendar and say that I'll be back in around 7 days? I've added your holiday to the calendar starting on the 29th of April and ending on the 6th of May. Enjoy your trip. Is there anything else I can help you with? Um, can you actually also in my calendar, can you add me a haircut for next week this time? I actually want a haircut and I want to make sure I'm looking fresh. I've added a haircut appointment to your calendar for next week. At this time, you'll be looking fresh. Anything else I can do for you? So, there you can see I've literally just managed to use my natural voice to be able to add two things instantly to my calendar. Now, it doesn't just work for adding things to the calendar. If you make any mistakes, you can also remove them from the calendar as well. Hey, about that haircut. I'm not really thinking I'm going to be in London at that time, so could you remove the haircut, please? The haircut appointment has been removed from your calendar. Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with. Yeah. Could you also remove the holiday thing, please? I don't think I want to go on holiday anymore. So, now another thing you can actually do is you can actually use Perplexity to immediately draft emails. We're all usually very busy and we often get emails every day. But with Perplexity, it's actually pretty easy to respond to any email by using a simple voice command. Let me show you guys how you can achieve that in just a few commands. Hey, Perplexity, I was meant to be flying with Delta Airlines on that holiday. And since I cancelled my, you know, trip to the uh country that I was going to, I would love to know like if I can email them and get an update on my refund. So, can you quickly draft an email asking them about my um you know, order? My order is number 478. Just, you know, my flight was number, you know, 78 as well. So, can you just add that in an email and then draft that, please? I've drafted an email to Delta Airlines about your refund. The message is all set up and ready for you to review and send in your mail app. Would you like help with anything else? So now you can see that I literally am able to save that immediately to my drafts. It's going to make me a lot more productive and I'm also able to input a large amount of information into that to be able to construct how the email is done. Hey Perplexity, can you um you know also find the latest Barclay support email and then can you draft them an email asking them how much I'm allowed to you know carry on board? Is that possible? So this is something that is incredibly productive for those of you guys who don't want to just scroll on your phone, but would rather use voice commands to achieve the same level of productivity. Now, it can also send texts, but I don't really want to send a text to absolutely anyone. So, I'm not going to do that at the moment. But it can actually do that as a confirmed feature.
