foreign is one of the things that we all struggle with I lost count of how many online courses I started and I couldn't finish when I realized that this is not okay I need to change this I start to use some strategies and here are some of the strategies and tips that have helped me firstly before I decide to learn something I would ask myself why I need to learn this why I want to learn this thing for example you want to learn some deep learning because someone told you that deep learning is hard right now but for me this is not a strong enough motivation to learn and I believe that two weeks in you might already give up so I would encourage you to take a second to think about the reason why you want to learn something before you actually learn it with deep learning you might want to create a facial detection application or maybe create some artwork using style transfer Etc the second trick that works for me is to set a very tight deadline for whatever I want to learn I remember once I tried to learn by spark or something I suspend literally like three days to just learn the basics and I start then right away just create some toy examples toy projects to practice it so for me it kind of works out very well also because I think when we have the pressure to finish something very fast we tend to do it faster just naturally we are more effective and we absorb the information a bit better so that's my two biggest tips for avoiding procrastination when learning machine learning foreign
