Elon Musks NEW Plans To Crush Sam Altman And OpenAI

so Elon Musk and Sam Alman have actually gotten into some crazy feuds recently and in this video I'm going to dive into the history and then show you guys the craziness that has recently come about so if you aren't familiar with open ey it was actually founded in 2015 by Elon Musk and open ey so these guys actually founded the company just around nearly 10 years ago it was now but the crazy thing about this is that open ey according to Elon Musk has completely strayed from its original Mission the main thing that Elon Musk has claimed which has caused this D between them is the fact that open AI was created as an open source open AI nonprofit company to serve as a counterweight to Google but it has now become a close Source maximum profit company effectively controlled by Microsoft which is not what he intended at all we can also see that in the early days that Elon Musk and open ey were really worried about Google Deep Mind considering the fact that they had the best AI researchers and AI talent and they wanted to stay ahead of the competition you can see here Elon Musk literally said that either we get the best people in the world or we will get whipped by Deep Mind whatever it takes to bring on any Ace Talent is fine by me but now Elon Musk has a very different relationship with Sam Alman whilst in the early days these two were friends and partners it now seems that they no longer trust each other and Lon musk has been very vocal about his distrust for Sam Alman you can see him actually talk about the early days of opening eye and why he no longer trusts samman How concerned is Sam Alman about Annihilation do you think I think in reality he's not concerned about it I don't trust open ey I mean I you know I started that company as a nonprofit open source yes the open and open AI I named it compy I named the company yeah open AI as an open source um and it is uh now extremely closed source and and maximizing profit soes RIS I don't understand how you actually go from being a an open source nonprofit to a closed source for maximum profit organization now recently there was this information that had everybody just completely Gob smacked which was the fact that potentially samman was going to get 7% Equity stake in the company and restructuring to become a for-profit business and that would Mark the first time that samman was granted ownership in the AI startup now the reason that this statement completely rocked the AI community and the investing world was because Sam ultman previously reiterated multiple times that he isn't doing this for the money you can see here in an earlier interview earlier this year I think it was last year that samman actually spoke about the fact that like so many people are worried that he's trying to make money with opening eye it would be so much easier if he just said look I'm trying to make a trillion dollars with this company and profit from it like and I well people think I think people think it's a little bit of an ulterior motive I think well yeah yeah no so it assumes what else is he doing on the side to make money something if I were just trying to say like I'm G to try to make a trillion dollars with open AI I think everybody would have an easier time and it would save me it would save a lot of conspiracy theories and that's essentially what Elon Musk refers to in the latter part of this interview well but samman got rich didn't he at various points he's claimed not to be getting rich but he's claimed many things that were full um and now apparently he's going to get 1010 billion of stock or something like that so um I don't trust Sam Alman and I don't think we want to have the most powerful AI in the world controlled by someone who is not trustworthy now in samman's defense he actually does have a wide array of companies that he's invested in and those Holdings independently of openai are at least around $2. 8 billion so I got to be honest it doesn't really seem like Sam mman is doing this for the money because once you cross over $100 million I'm not sure what else you're going to spend your money on now what's crazy about all of this is the fact that there is a lawsuit that Elon Musk has filed to stop opening ey from doing various things I remember how I talked about previously the fact that opening ey was founded to be a nonprofit company but now we are in a situation where it looks like openai are restructuring to become a for-profit company Elon Musk is basically staying the look you guys betrayed the initial founding agreement for the company and the feud doesn't stop there Elon Musk has recently made several comments about how Sam Alman has certain characteristics that he thinks are dist trustworthy recently on Twitter he made a comment titled Sam Alman is little finger and this appears to be a comparison between Sam Alman and possibly the character called little finger from the TV series Game of Thrones now Littlefinger is known for being a martyr strategist and of course a manipulator often working behind the scenes to influence events to his advantage and in this context Elon Musk is basically stating the Sam ultman is similarly strategic or cunning in his actions potentially implying critique considering the fact that all of opening ey senior leadership had left during this time now of course it goes about saying that Sam Alman was of course ousted from the board for not being consistently candid and this was one of the times where we got some interesting information with regards to Sam alman's character it was alleged from Business Insider that multiple versions of opening ey Sam Alman CEO have emerged from reporting of his firing and rehiring there's a mellian politician and or the smart CEO tactician and some

people were stating that who is the real Sam ultman and of course it was the board's decision to fire Sam ultman but I guess we will never know the real reason why he was fired now some people that left opening eye actually did state that Sam mman is nice but apparently is a deceptive manipulative liar one of the opening eye employees that used to work there said that third my prior is strongly against Sam after working for him at 2 years at opening eye he was always nice to me but lied to me on various occasions and he was deceptive manipul ative and worse to others including my friends again now some individuals in the space such as the media Juggernaut Endeavor CEO Avy Emanuel actually says that Sam mman is a conman and he actually agrees with Elon Musk that betraying the original mission for profit is not the right thing to do as it relates to Sam ol man I think he's a con man you know um I think that you know the old Shu thing I don't know started out with Elon gave him a lot of money supposed to be nonprofit now he's making a lot of money I don't know why I would trust them I don't I don't know why we would trust these people um not and they're very smart and there's probably you know you just have to weigh the following for all the stuff they're saying that could be great and I think it is Health Care you know new discoveries a lot of great stuff and we have to figure that out and this is where the regulation as I looked a whole host and thought about a whole host of stuff that's bad so you're telling me you've done the calculation and the good outweighs the bad really now the feud has gotten to the point where we have some mman actually throwing Jabs at Elon Musk you can see here on Twitter he says which one is supposed to be the leftwing propaganda machine again and he actually shows us two answers one from chat gbt and one from grock 2 and we could see here that basically grock 2 was asked who would be the overall better president for the United States Trump or Harris then he asked chat gbt you can see that chat gbt actually was giving something balanced and then you can see that grock 2 was stating that Kamala Harris would be the better overall president and this is actually referencing the fact that Elon Musk has consistently called out opening eye for developing a leftwing propaganda machine with a model that is highly censored now what's crazy about this is that someone actually did quote this tweet and they did say sam Alman dising genely cuts off the bottom portion of the answer where Gro lays out the AR documents for both candidates and does not choose to give a response run this test to see if you wish and then of course Elon Musk says soonly Sam is at it again now this Feud has gotten to the point where Elon Musk has actually recently filed an injunction to Halt opening eyes transition into a for profit we can see that one of the main reasons why he did this was the fact that one of the things that opening eye did or Sam mman did was they discouraged investors from backing opening eye Rivals like Elon Musk and his company xai and basically saying that look if you're investing in our company you can't really invest in the compan competitors and this includes things like Ilia Sask safe super intelligence and of course Elon Musk company now samman actually did refute these claims and he actually did make a good point if you're investing with us you're not allowed to see our project road map because of course we are going to be leaking some sort of Secrets and we don't want our competitors to gain that Advantage but of course there are some other things that Elon Musk claims he says that opening eye are benefiting from wrongfully obtained competitively sensitive information through opening eyes connections with Microsoft the injuction also talks about how he wants to stop them from transferring to a for-profit and of course stopping opening eye to do businesses with organizations in which Sam mman has a material financial interest basically stating that look open ey is forming several Partnerships to which samman has some key Investments and he stands to benefit from those Investments now interestingly enough we actually did get Sam mman in an interview talking about how he views Elon Musk in the current day-to-day as a guy who has spent a lot of time with him and you guys founded this thing together how you feel personally today about all this is a tremendous sad I grew up with Elon as like a mega hero um I thought what Elon was doing was absolutely incredible for the world um and I'm still of course I mean I have different feelings about him now but I'm still glad he exists uh and not just because no I mean that genuinely not just because I think his like companies are awesome which I do think um but because I think he like at a time when most of the world was not thinking very ambitiously he pushed a lot of people me included to think much more ambitiously um and I'm grateful it's like the wrong kind of word but I'm like thankful I'm positive about that um you know we started open AI together and then at some point he like totally lost faith in open Ai and decided to go his own way and that's fine too but I think of Elon as a builder and someone who like you know known thing about Elon he really cares about being the guy but I think of him as someone that if he's not that just competes in the market and in technology and whatever else and doesn't resort to

law fair and you know whatever the stated complaint is what I believe is he's just like he's a competitor and we're doing well and that's sad to see now as it stands currently it seems that we are at a Crossroads and things are only to get one user tweeted that Elon Musk bulldo Sam's political attempts and has the first access to the new Nvidia gpus and already has the biggest AI cluster and is tying up opening eyes moved in for-profit court and now owns all the real world context streams humanoids cars social media platforms how does Sam mman win here and someone actually responded stating that opening eye likely has already started a Manhattan project with the US government and his training on government user data but of course if you aren't familiar with Elon musk's political efforts he's now someone that is firmly wedged within the department of government efficiency so he's basically stating that look considering that Elon Musk has some really strong ties to president Trump it's quite likely that Elon Musk could use his power to harm his competitors and I think namely in this example we're talking about Sam Alman and it's crazy because Sam Alman is actually frustrated with how well Elon Musk has been able to secure Theo's Nvidia chips you can see here it says opening ey CEO Sam Alman after musk posted on X about it Alman got into an argument with infrastructure Executives at Microsoft telling them that he was concerned X was moving faster than Microsoft according to a person that heard his remarks and this was basically due to the fact that Elon Musk has landed even more Nvidia gb200 delivery in January with $1 billion and he's managed to negotiate this directly with Nvidia and if you aren't familiar with why this is such a big deal securing chips on that scale is basically like securing your company's AI future and it's something that open AI have been trying to do for some time so the fact that Elon Musk was able to do in such a short amount of time is completely incredible so with this being said what do you guys think about samman in Elon Musk do you think that samman is just playing the long-term altruistic game I do think that Sam Alman has some interesting characteristics but of course definitely is being seen in the negative light here overall I think this Feud is fueling the AI race in terms of competition so it seems like the best thing for us is that we'll get some better models out of it overall I think it's really fascinating to see how two former friends and people that founded a company together have now ended up on the other side of the fence
