Perplexity “Computer” is Kind of Insane

Perplexity computer runs on a dedicated Mac Mini that can run 24/7 connected to your local apps and Perplexity secure servers. They're providing you access to a Mac Mini that it is running on and you're connecting up to and we can see it says Mac Mini discovered ready to use. So, it went and found an available Mac Mini for you. They had it generate a morning briefing. They click into it and I'm guessing this morning briefing is all sort of local on that Mac Mini that you just tapped into. They prompt it with, "Find me five senior iOS engineers in the Bay Area who've worked on consumer apps with 1 million plus users. I need to fill this role by the end of the quarter. " And then the computer goes off and starts just doing work in the background. And then they generated this almost like Bloomberg terminal looking thing that has all of their portfolio stats, a whole bunch of charts. Is it actually trading for them or is it just really good at looking at data for you? I think connects to the Plaid API and can pull in data for you, but it's not actually making any sort of trading decisions, which you probably don't want it to do at this point yet. Anyway, this new computer model is available to anybody on any of the paid plans.
