So it's a direct impact [музика] and I wonder why not many people see that way. Humanitarian workers measure impact in life saved and mouths fed. Yet 64% of NGOs lack inhouse it. That is quite difficult to find a donor to support this operational costs involving new technology. Actually the humanitarian the third sector [музика] is very old fashion in that most of the biggest NGOs that I will not name they actually [музика] still work at Excels and that's it. I'm Max Maxim and Ukrainian. I help design N at N, a platform that empowers teams to automate their processes. Technology does a lot of bad. It's our responsibility to make sure it does a lot of good, too. This is the story of two Ukrainian NGOs on an automation journey to save more lives. My name is Ross. I was born in Harkiv and I'm the founder of the NGO mission Harkve. In one month the fullsale Russian invasion started and that uh changed my uh plans and the agenda. completely. The first few days you actually don't understand what to do. You sometimes imagine people with machine guns in your yard. But it's not like that. Especially right now with Russia, it's an artillery [музика] war. So you hear constantly these strikes on the background and sometimes you hear uh that they impact place you know right or someone you know die from this strike and that caused this permanent psychological pressure that just continues to rise and push you. I was basically trying to get a plan, get an idea what to do next and all my thoughts would be with my family and my friends. So I decided to stay. A lots of my friends in Spain and all over the world they contacted me like hey maybe you know someone who needs help and that's how it all started. All the Spanish news channels passing the request of people I found in hospitals I was going to. I thought it will be just several boxes which ended up being 70 tons of medication and several 20 ton trucks that [музика] we brought to Harkiv. And basically that's how it all started. A bit later in April 22 oncology hospital was bombarded in Harkev and that's how our focused program and first humanitarian project appeared. We received the first 35 million worth of donation in chemotherapy. We reserve and we book the whole treatment for the patient which sometimes is five six treatments across half year. — [музика] — Мене звуть Ірина Агієва. Ми займаємось евакуацією прикордонних і надання гуманітарної допомоги, психологічної, медичної допомоги. Тобто наші команди там по суті [музика] це герої, які під час щоденних евакуацій вони ризикують своїм життям. По одному проекту 20 [музика] 000 клієнтів, по іншому 6 000 клієнтів. Тобто ми вже доходимо там до 40 одномоментно, да, в різних [музика] проектах. Ну і насправді ми не могли собі дозволити IT-спеціаліста. Кожна неурядова організація, вона робить вибір їй підтримати бухгалтера, керівника, програмного менеджера или айтішника. Да

і айтішник стоїть в [музика] останню чергу. Це базова функція, яка повинна бути. Запит на IT-підтримку [музика] надзвичайно великий. — Мене звати Максим. Я є військовослужбовцем. В даний момент проходжу реабілітацію у зв'язку з пораненням. Це сталося під час виконання завдання. Був скид з дрону, вибух, уламок. Поряд був хлопець, який пострадав сильніше. Травма важка, але насправді болю не було. Та був трошки шок. Зараз під час реабілітації хочеться бути приносити якусь користь. — Мене звати Ярослава Морзлюк. Я військова ЗСУ. Була в піхоті. Тобто я знаю, що таке доля піхотинця. Це дуже важко, коли ти чуєш, що люди в ефірі гинуть і ти можеш ніби зробити, але тобі цього не дозволяють. Ну, це дуже жорстко. Зараз займаюся безпосередньо, ну, документальною роботою. Власне, тому я зараз виглядаю так, а не в військовій формі. В цивільному житті була зовсім інша професія. Я маю дві вищі освіти. І коли сказали, що от є така можливість, я така: "Давайте я спробую". [сміх] Не маючи якогось попереднього технічного досвіду, я думаю, що при бажанні і наполегливості можна досягнути чогось. hear the kinds of tasks these organizations are doing manually. For example, the way that we search for grants, it's a huge work. It's a tedious work because it uh composes from three stages, right? The first stage is grant seeking. You need to find the grant, right? And from Ukraine, the ecosystem grant aggregating platforms, it's not established yet. There is a huge opportunity actually there. We look for grants in the US and the European Union within Ukraine in other countries. [музика] We you also can find opportunities in embasses. It is a huge amount of work that requires one full-time person just seeking for the ground. The second stage [музика] is uh you need to decide which grant you prioritize, which one you will apply because it's going to be a huge work [музика] and which one you choose not. And the third phase is actual writing a proposal which is itself a very tedious process. A broken для мене важливе швидке реагування в моїх командах регіональних. I want to build operating system for NGO. It's our admin. It's our logistic. It's something that we can measure the effectiveness. — Ми країна, яка живе в XX столітті. Ми не хочемо повертатись в якесь середньовіччя. Якщо у нас немає електрики, у нас є паубанки. Якщо [музика] у нас немає інтернету, у нас є мобільний інтернет, сотовий зв'язок і старлінки. Ми зацікавлені в тому, щоб нові технології і кращі спеціалісти допомагали Україні вигравати цю війну. — Слава Україні! — [музика]
