n8n Reaches 50k GitHub stars!

so we just hit a pretty big milestone at and end Yan what happened 50,000 giab Stars it's really amazing really want to thank the community for that thanks a lot for all of your help obviously couldn't have done it literally without all of you I was curious so I was chatting with my intern chat gbt and apparently 50k puts us in the top. 01% of all public UB projects W yeah would never match this 5 years ago and it started with nothing like how far you become the last year so Yan we're 5 years in as we look back what was your motivation for starting in I started actually like many years ago work in the movie industry originally I did the actual effects for movies and then later it became my job to make the life of the artist more efficient easier they realized there was like this kind of bit disconnect between the people that had the problem and the people had to solve them and it made the life very inefficient and it made feel very wrong because it always felt like the person that has the problem should be the person solving it there was always kind of dependency and I've always thought there should be a tool that allows them to help themselves kind of they know what problem to solve they should solve it themselves they should improve on it they should work on it and I think that is what was always that the sense of edit and really like empower the people to help themselves it's definitely What drew me when I joined n it and I remember aing mating when I first worked for it was something that I would not have gotten done if I had to ask a colleague or someone else to do it because it was a simple problem very often that's kind of how we start with these sorts of automations it's amazing like it starts with some Sy that it rols and evolv and it go goes to something totally new and unexpected absolutely and so I'm curious here what do you think help us get to this stage I think it's like a combination of multiple things obviously it started originally with the vision the product like us building something that people really wanted to love then that came The Next Step was the amazing Community like just people having the need coming in there being excited about a product helping other people out contributing to it I think there still something that drives Ed end up to this day and obviously the amazing employees we have at a companies is like we had literally never could have done it with any of the great people that joined over the last years and it's so thankful all of them I remember one of my first memories with you when we were working together is I came to you with a design and I said hey Yan which do you prefer you know and you look to me and you said well Max you're the ux designer you tell me what to do I think that ethos right is empowering each person to do their job well and I see that result yeah I think it thanks to you as well yeah thank you I just want to thank all of you again for all of your help as mentioned before we couldn't have done it with all of you it's really amazing seeing the support and the love out there every day like just looking through our form through reddits and Linkedin no matter what all of you really helped us so much for all amazing content on YouTube thanks a lot for your help and your support we all of you out there next stop 100K on that note we best get back to work eh I would say so I like that that's the rep kind of cheesy
