Hey everybody, I'm out in social media marketing world in San Diego and I just got at a really great presentation with Roberto Blake and Nick Nim and I was talking to them before their presentation and one of the things that we were talking about was ask engine optimization and that is chat GPT serving up your content as the answer to a question. And so recently I had a um a follower of mine join my free Facebook group and when people joined that free Facebook group I asked them how did they hear of me and this guy answered Chad GPT and I was intrigued and it turns out that he asked Chad GPT a particular question um about uh about branding specific kind of um phrasing of that question and Chad GPT served up my video as the authoritative video on this subject and It only up served up one video and it was my video. And that was the first time this guy had ever heard of me and he joined my Facebook group because of it. And so that's one of the things that as marketers and branding people we have to really pay attention to is how do we show up in search and ask engines. So Chad, TPT, Claude, etc. These are the new search engines. Basically, Google is now serving up AI content the first paragraph or two of Google search. And that's mostly what people are reading and responding to. They're not even scrolling down the page to find out what all the websites are that are germanine to the search that they had. They just want an answer to the question. And the exact same thing is happening with Chad GPT. People are asking very specific questions. and chat GPT is serving up in some cases content or articles or blog posts or in my case one particular video that will answer that person's question. So starting to develop content very consistently across a very tight theme and becoming authoritative in that topic is what's going to start to surface you in ask engines. And I was talking to Nick Nim and he was saying also that to a certain extent Google search and SEO does contribute to that because chat tpt and claude do leverage Google search also in how they aggregate the answers to those questions. But I thought it was just a really interesting topic and one of those things that we have to pay attention to as marketers is how does that landscape of discoverability how people discover our brands how is that changing and this is one particular way that is changing dramatically and that is that ask engines AI and people asking questions of AI are how we are being served up now and people are becoming aware of our brands. Yeah.
