Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00)

So, I've been selling digital products for the past seven or eight years. And during that time, I've learned a lot. And in today's video, what I want to do is break down the top five lessons that I've learned along the way. Now, if you're someone that's looking to build and launch your first ever digital product, my hope is that from this video, you're going to be able to learn from my mistakes and also the things that I've figured out over time so that as you move forward in your digital product journey, you're going to be able to have more clarity, make fewer mistakes, and start seeing results a lot more quicker. So, let's jump straight into one of the first things that I've learned whilst trying to sell digital products over the years, which is the fact that there's multiple different digital products that you can sell. Now, the reason why this is important to know is because a lot of people when they think about a digital product, maybe they initially think about an ebook or maybe they think about a specific type of digital product when in reality there's more than 15, probably 20 different types that are out there. And by having all the knowledge when it comes to what's available out there to build and sell, you're going to be able to put yourself in a position where you can find a digital product that matches your skill set and also matches something that you're passionate about. And on the screen right here, as you can see, we've got just eight of the different digital products that are available. So, we've got things like spreadsheets, which is going to be Excel, Google spreadsheets. You know, these are really popular right now. A lot of people believe that they're dead when in reality there's still websites right now selling spreadsheets making a decent amount of monthly income. Another type is digital planners. And I recently made a video breaking down and ranking the six best digital products according to Claude AI. And to my surprise, digital planners was actually the number one best one when it comes to selling in 2026. So that's definitely something worth considering. And I know this to be true because again there's so many different sites out there generating five figures every single month. Of course, as you already know, we've got things like ebooks, PDF guides. You can build these quite simply using something like Claude. You can also use another tool like Gamma. In the world that we're living in right now with artificial intelligence, being able to build a digital product based on knowledge that you already know isn't difficult. You just give these different AI tools the right prompt and then from there it's going to go away and do the majority of the work for you. One of my favorite types of digital products right now are web applications. I would say that this is probably a little bit more complicated if you're a complete beginner. But again, with all of the different AI tools that are out there, being able to build a web app isn't something that's difficult. And the reason why I like it is because you're able to add multiple different features to it, you can add a lot of value to it as well. And there's a number of different ways that you could monetize a web app if you build it in the right way. And I'm going to touch on exactly how you can build a web app as we move forward in this video. Another [clears throat] type of digital product is going to be video courses. Now, video courses tend to get a bad rep when in reality, it's something that's necessary when it comes to providing information to people to help them take things to the next level. If you're someone that has information that is going to help someone maybe three, four steps behind you, if you're able to build a video course, package everything up in a step-by-step way, and ensure that you're giving all of the necessary information when it comes to helping the end user, this is going to be a win-win for every single person involved. Notion templates is a digital product that has been performing well. I would say in recent times, you know, notion is fairly new, but I've noticed from my research that more and more people are building notion template stores. And not only that, they're able to get a decent amount of traffic going to those stores on a consistent basis. And we can tell this just by looking at Google Trends. Notion is a keyword that is currently exploding. There's also things like social media templates. If you wanted to focus on maybe selling templates for Canva, this is something that is doing well right now as well. Canva has over 180 million active users and because of this there's sites popping up left, right, and center when it comes to selling Canva templates. And finally, we've got AI automation. If you're able to learn the necessary skills of building some sort of AI automation system using tools like make. com, n open claw, you're of course going to be able to now sell that package to someone, whether it's a business owner, maybe someone that's working on a personal project. But the overall point is that there's multiple different digital products out there for you to choose from. By no means am I saying that you should do all of them at the exact same time. Ideally, what you want to do is pick one that you're passionate about. Pick one that you believe that you're going to be able to grow to the best of your ability and then put all your energy into that one single digital product. But this now brings me on to the next thing that I've learned on this digital product journey, which is that it's very important to make sure that when you're first getting started, you pick a platform to sell your digital products in a way that's not going to add friction. And what I mean by that is that there's multiple different platforms out there that you can choose from. A lot of them are good. maybe complicated, but if you're able to pick a platform that's going to simplify things at the very start, it's going to make your life a lot more easier. And to give you an example of what I'm talking about, one

of the platforms that I personally use with my digital product business is Hostinger. I use it in a number of different ways. You can use it for the majority of the digital products that I just showed you. And the reason why it's simple to use is mainly because of their AI integrations and just generally when it comes to signing up. So, as you can see over here, this is the signup page. The good thing about Hostinger is that they've always got some sort of deal happening, I would say, throughout the entire year. So, it's always worth checking out what type of deal they have at the moment. I'm going to leave it linked down below. And if you want to view their plans, all you need to do is click into this. Now, the package that I personally use and the one that I'm signed up to right now is business website builder. The good thing about it is that you get to keep 100% of your profits with zero transaction fees. You can sell up to 1,000 different individual products. It comes with so many different AI features. AI blog writer, AI SEO assistant. You can track performance. They accept up to 100 different payments. So, straight away, I'm sure that you guys get the point as to how simplistic and how beneficial Hostinger's AI website builder is. So, if I just click on choose plan. Now, it's important to know that if you did want to go with Hostinger, it's going to ask you which period that you want to select. If you go with the highest one, it's going to give you the biggest discount and it's also going to give you a free domain as well. And generally speaking, when it comes to building your store, it's not a difficult thing to do. Let's say if I wanted to build a site right now centered around selling Amazon related digital products, all I need to do is just enter this prompt. Within a few seconds, it's going to come back with a fully functional site that I can make any changes to. The process of listing a digital product on it isn't difficult. As you can see, I've got these different digital products that I built using Claude. I've got this spreadsheet and I've also got this ebook. And when it comes to listing them, I'm going to be able to do that quite simply by drag and dropping the image of these different digital products. And Hostinger's AI lister is going to take care of the rest. Even if I wanted to add a web application on this website, as you can see, I've just built one using Claude. I'm going to be able to easily do that as well. I just need to create a new page using Hostinger's page builder. Give it information. The AI is going to take care of the rest. And all I need to do is just add the code that I got from Claude for this web app. And right there within I would say five minutes or so, I've got a website listed with digital products and a web app that has a high chance of getting ranked in the Google search results because I've also used Hostinger's AI SEO assistant. But the main point of what I'm trying to say right now is that when you get to the point of selling a digital product, you want to pick a platform that just makes your life a lot more easier. There's a lot out there, but Hostinger is one of the ones that I use and it's recommend. So, I'm going to leave all the necessary information for Hostinger down below. But moving on to one of the next things that I've learned whilst trying to scale my digital product business is the importance of replicating what's already working. And this is something that I've applied to every single one of my online businesses. Whether it's regular physical products, drop shipping, whatever the case is, I've always tried to look at what someone else is doing, made sure that they was actually bringing in revenue, and replicated their blueprint, but added my own spin to it. A common mistake that I see so many beginners making is that they want to reinvent the wheel and they want to do something that's never been done before. And I'm not saying that can't work. It can definitely work. But a way for you to fast track your results is to structure your website, structure your digital products in a way that your biggest competition has already done because they would have already gone through the optimization stage. tweaked things and then from there you can kind of take their blueprint and again do things in your own way. Now, to give you an example of what I'm talking about, there is this website over here within the travel niche. And I'm just using this one as an example just to get you guys thinking, but as you can see, it's a very simple website. What he's doing is publishing content on his website, all about travel. And based on the numbers, he's done really, really well. I'm going to show you exactly how I'm going to check the numbers in a moment. But we can also see over here that he's got these different digital products. He's got all of these different travel guides when it comes to helping people save money on their trip, as well as all of these different ebooks when it comes to helping people that are visiting these specific locations. He's also posting these different blog articles that have been able to get ranked in Google and he's been super consistent with it. But the main point that I'm trying to make with this is that if you was to get the URL of this site and then go over to a tool like Digital Maker AI, as you can see, I'm on the competitor analyzer feature. I'm just going to paste the URL of this store in there, just like that. And then click on analyze. And what Digital Maker AI is going to do is come back with an estimate of how this store is performing. So we can see the estimated traffic, how many different digital products they've got available

the average price, and the potential revenue as well. So by using tools like this, it's definitely helped me out because by being able to do a deep dive into the daily figures like this, it number one gives me motivation. Number two, it allows me to know that maybe I'm on the right path, and number three, it just lets me know that if someone else is able to do it, then I could potentially do it myself. This now brings me on to a final thing that I want to touch on when it comes to a key thing that you need to know as a beginner if you're thinking about launching your first digital product, which is that it's always a good idea for you to start off with organic traffic and then move on to paid traffic once you start to build up momentum. And again, guys, this is not a hard rule at all. It's not a fact. You can definitely start off with paid ads if you want to. But the reason why I recommend starting off with organic traffic is because if you're able to do that, number one, you're going to be able to, of course, save money on paid ads, you know, money that you don't necessarily have to spend. And by starting off with the organic method, you're going to be able to get a gauge on how well you might do if you did start running ads. And there is a specific strategy that I use and I teach my students when it comes to executing this. Eg, if you was to post organic content on Instagram in the form of images and reals as a way for you to get awareness to the digital product in your Instagram bio by being consistent and posting content on your Instagram every single day. Fingers crossed hopefully one of the content that you've posted is going to take off. Instagram is going to recommend it. And if you've set up your automations in terms of many chat in the right way, you're going to be able to turn all of those visitors into paying customers. And because you now know that content has done well on Instagram, you can use meta ads when it comes to being able to push it out to a wider audience and just making things a lot more targeted. This is something that I actually show you how to do in my step-by-step guide. I show you how you can build a digital product using AI. What you need to do when it comes to using Cap Cut to help you produce organic content. How to post that content on Instagram in a way where it's automated. How to set up your Many Chat in a way where it's going to be running in the background. And what you need to do when it comes to setting up a $5 per day meta ad campaign. The reason why this strategy works really well is because the content has already been proven. Instagram has already pushed it out. By you now paying $5 per day for a meta ad, you're going to be able to have specific targeting to your demographic. And then once the results start coming in from that $5 per day campaign, you're going to be able to increase the daily budget to $10, $20, $30, so on and so forth. As long as all of the metrics have been met. But yeah, the main point that I'm trying to make with all of this is that you want to start off with organic content. Doesn't need to be Instagram. It could be YouTube. It could be any form of organic content. And then once you start to see that things are taking off, that's when you can put a small budget behind what's already working. Now, of course, these are not the only things that you need to know when it comes to building up a digital product business. There's so much more. I didn't have time today to talk about email marketing. This is also super important. Building up an email list so that you can contact those people 24/7 and let them know about any new digital products that you've launched. There's also important things that you need to know when it comes to signing up to all of these different platforms using the right documents. A lot of people may not have their correct driving license, passport, or identification documents, but they want to get into digital product selling. It's not going to work out well because many payment processors, whether it's Stripe, whether it's PayPal, it's going to need some sort of identification to know exactly who you are. So, there's definitely a lot of things that you need to know when it comes to getting into this entire business.
