Depending on how you look at it, you might say we are living in confusing or exciting times. Here’s how I think we can keep the discussion around AI and new technology open and move forward together in a changing market.

Guys, please stop. I'm looking at the comments on this channel and I feel like this has become like a political channel. The right side versus the left side, AI people versus web flow people. And everybody's saying that they are right. And people are treating their web design tool as if it is some kind of their religion and they have the right religion versus the other people who have the wrong religion. And I feel like this is such a wrong way of doing things and looking at things. And this is not even the first time that this is happening. Right now, I'm looking at the comments and there are people who are really into AI and think that AI is going to change everything. And if you're using Web Flow or Frame or any of the other tool, you're old school and you're about to die and tools are dying. On the other side, people are saying, "Hey, this is just a hype. This cannot replace, you know, the real professional tools that we're using. " But this is not the first time this is happening. Just a couple of years ago, we've pretty much had the same religious type debate between Web Flow and Framer. And I've tried to set it previously and I will set it again. This is not the right approach. This is not either this or that. And I see why this is happening, right? It's pretty obvious that people attach their identity to a specific tool. And I understand why this happens, especially if you've spent so much time investing in learning a tool. It's difficult to think that, oh, I have to start from scratch. Or specifically, if you're like me, if one tool really worked well for you and you can attribute so much of your success to this single tool, then of course you feel like you have seen the light and you know the truth and all of the other people who have not figured things out yet. That's the reason why they are not successful. But honestly, you know, this is not the right approach to look at it. And the truth is no tool actually dies right I've been screaming for example about web flow for the past 7 8 years like web flow is amazing I've made millions our community flux academy have made millions of dollars using web flow and now framer and still most of the market still uses WordPress I really haven't been screaming uh WordPress is dead but you know at least maybe I was trying to scream web flow WordPress should be dead and you should you should move to web flow. But the point is even though for eight years me and thousands of others web designers were you know celebrating web flow and the new tools most of the industry still uses WordPress. You know what I am still using Photoshop and Photoshop has been announced dead maybe almost 20 years ago right first it was Sketch and then it was Figma and you know every time oh nobody needs Photoshop anymore. Of course, you're going to use these new tools. And now this is and this I still use Photoshop. And to be honest, everybody if you need to edit images, if you're for example on this YouTube channel, the only way to make good thumbnails and, you know, create great images is using Photoshop. That's still the professional tool that gets the job done on this front. It doesn't matter that there are millions of new tools, you know, Figma and now AI. Yes, we're using AI, but that still doesn't mean that the original tool still have their value in place. So please do not attach your identity to a single tool. The best people in the world are people who understand the whole toolbox knows when to pick the right tool for the right job. Don't feel like they need to get married or again attach their identity to a single tool but rather find the best use case for the job. Of course, these are confusing times because the tools are changing rapidly and there's new solutions every single day and this is exciting, right? We need to stay up to date with things, but we still need to work with what's working right now, but we don't need to again attach our identity to this and start having these online wars with people. Smart thing I think would be to keep an open mind and this is also my approach to political debates, right? um instead of just like falling into the binary of are you left or are you right, understand that the world is much more complex. There's a lot of grays in between and you need to figure out instead of just cornering yourself into a single position, be open-minded. Try everything. Um, I know that it can be tough again if you've invested months, if you bought courses, if you spend years learning a specific tool and finally you've mastered it and now there's a shiny new tool and feel like, oh, I have to start from scratch. Yeah, to some degree you do need to spend 10 20% of your time learning other tool, new tools, alternatives just to know what's up. Maybe you're still going to keep doing most of your work with your current tool. Maybe at some point you'll decide that you want to, you know, you want to switch or you want to supplement your workflow with new tools. That's the reality of it. But instead of just being kind of like either protectionist or just pronounce everybody dead, um yeah, let's keep an open mind and let's

keep like a great discussion here. These are again exciting times. I think that excitement can either be on the it's great, it's fun that it's exciting or it's scary. It's exciting in a scary way. So, I understand both of these sides and I share these feelings, but I feel like we're all going to be in a better place if we keep an open mind, if we're trying to be positive about the change and try to make the best of it instead of hating on other people who happen to be just using a different web design tool or have a different political opinion religion. So, yeah, just uh yeah, just be nice people and I'll see you on the next video. Cheers.
