and this is how you end the day properly after traveling for 24 straight hours uh me and Gary V up in the office do R flapping walking through cor talks about ownership and leverage 1800 just flew uh took a red eyee after last night's event in La connected in Dallas landed here in Naples uh Fort Meyers area just did a client pitch looks like we won it uh which is exciting big get for Vayner Big Brand exciting I'm happy about it um and now heading back to the airport connecting in Chicago and getting back to LA just a really intense 22 hours or so uh last night's event in La was extraordinary I've never had an event that had 2,000 people show up for it so just want to thank everybody in LA just so humbled um you know 4 hours of photos and selfies and signings and answering business questions um it's just such an incredible ego boost as you can imagine Just A vibe a positive vibes boost uh it's OT it's ego boost and it's humility at the same time um and then just loving kind of the life I'm living right now where you know I can have that kind of moment and I can rush to the airport for take you know four flights in 22 hours to do a business pitch where you know you're just the person pitching the business you're you the low man the totem pole trying to get that nut and uh I love that balance of push and pull I love shooting for the stars and digging the ditches I um I really want that balance of ego and humility you know rock stardom and just another salesperson trying to make it happen you know I like that thing I think that's um there's some health in those Polar Opposites um having the humility to know that you're not [ __ ] and having the confidence to know that you're special important approximately 10 hours later on a plane uh just land in Chicago now on another plane um from Chicago to La anyway um wanted to uh describe some of my social media today sometimes I just kind of sub tweet just kind of random ideas or thoughts or add something to my story that has no context just a little fun for myself I think we all kind of do that the one that goes right here is about you know it's not scary Selling Stuff ask how do I sell how do Ione you needed app please make sure you have downloaded before you close the door will be available after to try to figure out why are they inse they just not have it stting amount of people just selling the vitamin the skinny the service the agency the cleaning service the Uber pillows whatever they've come up with the reason they're not good at selling is cuz they actually think their product is a piece of [ __ ] and um I just had the great Fortune of whether it's baseball card rookies or wives that were up and coming or books or um you know B media itself I've just always sold something I believe in which has allowed me to have passion uh be aggressive have conviction and uh be successful at it and so please before you worry about selling figure out if what you're selling is with Wow to you first later Landing in La driving to uh the hotel seems quiet La L right now long day really long 24 hours but part of the process got to love it that's kind of like the uh Snapchat photo or Instagram story photo I put up I've got more conviction than you I think one of the things that allows me a lot of people ask me what how do I have my energy where do I get my energy um from and I always talk about gratitude right a lot of you have heard that answer wondering how much comes from the fact that I believe so desperately in what I'm doing in the companies that I build in the way that I'm impacting people in the actions of like hacking culture and communication platforms and strategizing is my conviction just so much better than yours because I just believe so much no doubt in my body about my execution my blueprint my intent and
