January invites us to come back. Back to the mat. Back to the breath. Back to the quiet knowing that’s been here all along. This new year, I’m sharing a special four-part series inspired by my Saturday mornings as a child and now, Sunday mornings as an adult. That once-a-week ritual that offers an opportunity to return to what matters most. (Of course, this may not land on a Saturday or Sunday for you - all good - make it your own by choosing one time during the week to practice with RETURN.) Week 1 Sense Week 2 Ground Week 3 Listen Week 4 Center Each practice is a soft landing. A gentle re-orientation. A way of remembering yourself in the midst of a new year. Hello everyone, Adrien here. Sweet Benji over here by my side. And we have an announcement to make. First of all, thank you so much for being here and for listening and playing this video. You're in luck. This video comes with a beautiful invitation to practice together in January. We are mixing it up this year. We are creating an opportunity for us to return to what matters most. To return to that thing that's just been a little light inside of you, kind of pulling your attention towards it. This is an opportunity for you to return to your breath, your heart, your body, your center. But I think one of the most beautiful things about this opportunity is it is a chance to return to connection in community. So, we have an incredible international community here, Yoga withAdrien. We want to really celebrate that. So, this year in January, we're going to be doing a new practice video each weekend. This is kind of inspired from my favorite time of the week as a little girl was Saturday morning. Saturday morning cartoons. I was just, you know, able to be in my comfy clothes a little bit longer and spend some time, you know, grounding at home. Now, as an adult, that's Sunday morning for me. That Sunday morning ritual, just this opportunity to reset and kind of return back to myself before beginning the week again. So, in a lot of ways, this is an opportunity to return to what matters most to you as an individual, but it's also an opportunity to have those friendships and accountability partners across the globe by tuning in each weekend. There are five weekends in January. So, you'll have four practice videos, but on the fifth weekend, we'll return to the mat together. But this time, it won't be a recorded video. It'll be an opportunity to practice in real time a live stream community class. So, I think that's a little fun way to end the month. And I think it's important that we get the time at home to kind of drop to our knees and tap back into that sense of self, but it's also really beautiful what has blossomed here in Yoga with Adrian over the past decade. So, we want to celebrate that by ending the month with a nice live stream community class. This theme really means a lot to me. It is born out of the experience that I have time and time again meeting you guys in person but also exchanging with you in community online. There is always this sense of wanting to feel a sense of belonging and purpose and this reality that sometimes you fall off the horse. But yoga is really sweet because yoga says come as you are. You can hop back on the horse and begin again each time. So this constant uh returning to what matters most. I'm really excited to share the practices with you and as always, it just wouldn't be the same to start a new year without an opportunity to practice together.
