This question and answer came from Episode 3 of the #AskGaryVee show!
Question: What are the most important lessons your dad taught you about building a business?
Answer: Your word is your bond. If you make a promise to somebody you stick to it. I don't think I would ever be as honorable of a person if my dad didn't teach me the importance of sticking to your word. At the end of the day, I'm a long term businessman with a long term business plan. Because of the lessons my dad instilled in me, I've been able to both build and maintain my relationships, and I know wholeheartedly that a lot of that is attributed to the weight I put towards keeping my word and my promises.
Thanks, Dad :)
