This Works Better than Turmeric, NAC & Vitamin C Combined

If I had to take one antioxidant for the rest of my life, it wouldn't even be an antioxidant. We talk a lot about antioxidants. Even on this channel, we talk about vitamin C, vitamin E, polyphenols, glutathione, all the usual suspects. And it makes sense because oxative stress is behind so many things that people struggle with. The fatigue that creeps in, the slower recovery, the brain fog, the why do I feel older than I am? Or today than I did yesterday? Antioxidants are supposed to keep all of that in check. And they kind of do, but when you're talking about antioxidants that you take, it's not quite the same. That's why I'm pretty picky personally. So, people will understandably load up on a bunch of different antioxidant supplements. Some that even just like they shouldn't be stacking together, but they do this without ever supporting the actual pathways that create antioxidant protection inside the cell in the very first place. And that, my friends, is the big issue here. If your internal antioxidant systems aren't firing your NRF2 pathway, HO1, glutathione enzymes, it almost doesn't matter how many antioxidant-rich foods that you eat, you're essentially still fighting oxidative stress with one hand sort of tied behind your back. So, here's the twist, though. One of the simplest, most overlooked amino acids actually drives these antioxidant pathways in a really powerful way, and almost nobody talks about it. I'm talking about Lcerine. It's not sexy. It's not flashy, but it's massively important. So, here's what we're going to do today. I'm going to walk you through a few different things. Okay? First, we're going to talk about what oxidative stress really is and why your antioxidant enzymes matter a lot more than antioxidant ingredients. And I'll help you understand what I really mean by that. Secondly, we'll talk about the research that's showing how seririne activates major cellular protective pathways. Things like interf2, this HO1, and the glutathione system al together. And third, we're going to talk about how this shows up in the real world. the first part of the road map. Okay, this is what oxidative stress actually means. When most people hear oxidative stress, they think about free radicals damaging cells. People with basic scientific knowledge will think that way. Otherwise, oxidative stress is just kind of this cellular stress, right? And that's part of it. This whole thing, like that's part of what people need to understand, but it's not the full story. Okay? Oxidative stress is really more about imbalance. It means you're generating more reactive oxygen species. You're generating more oxidative stress than your simple antioxidant system can neutralize. It really is just a simple checks and balances. Scientifically, your body has two ways to fight that. You can bring in antioxidants from food or supplements or you can activate the enzymes that are already inside your cells that control oxidative stress at the root. So in other words, it's the difference between putting out fires or making the city fireproof. And that's where serarine comes in. So if we move into the second part of this whole video, we want to look at the research

itself. And for that we turn to a study published in research in pharmaceutical sciences. And this looked at human endothelial cells that have been exposed to hydrogen peroxide. basically a controlled oxidative stress insult. So they just caused a bunch of oxidative stress in a cellular environment in a laboratory setting and then they added different concentrations of this simple amino acid seririne and scientifically at the highest concentration which was 3. 2 millles seririne increased cell viability by about 25%. Meaning even under oxidative attack the cells stayed alive. But the mechanism is what makes this interesting. Seririne boosted this NRF2 activity which is a huge fundamental core of just antioxidant production in the body by about 88%. It increased something called HO1 expression which is also part of this whole process by about 82%. and it elevated nitric oxide production by 64% which is part of the cell's indoges antioxidant response. So what does that actually mean? NRF2 is your master antioxidant switch. Okay. When it turns on it upregulates dozens of genes that protect your cells. Everything from pure detoxification all the way down to mitochondrial resilience. HO1 is one of the key antioxidant enzymes itself that breaks down harmful oxidative molecules. and NOX production ties into redux balance and how that works with nitric oxide as well. So this is a powerful like cellular defense mechanism. Now serereine doesn't really act like an antioxidant. It activates the system that creates the antioxidants. And there's more to this though. We also have some pretty cool invivo data. Okay. There was a study published in Frontiers in Physiology that used mice that were given docs of rubicon which is a chemotherapy drug and this is known to create a large amount of oxidative damage particularly in skeletal muscle and connective tissue. So some of these mice that they gave this medicine to were pre-treated with a decent amount of serarine. What they found is that serarine significantly reduced hydrogen peroxide and superoxide radicals that would normally build up in the muscle tissue. But the real story is in the actual enzyme activity. So what they found here is that this enzyme that's involved in antioxidants catalas went up by 75%. A specific kind of super oxide dismutates which is sort of like glutathione but more powerful a copper zinc form increased by 50%. Manganese superoxide dismutase increased by 55%. Glutathione which most people know what that is that's like the master antioxidant that rose by 45%. Glutathione peroxidase, reductase and transferase all jumped between 50 and 60% which means the body was able to complete the cycle better to regenerate glutathione back from its reduced state back into a usable state. So it kind of helped that whole system of creating antioxidants. Serene didn't just help the muscle survive oxidative stress. It rebuilt the entire antioxidant defense system that keeps oxidative stress from spiraling in the first place. But here's the part that most people overlook. Glutathione again the master antioxidant requires serarine as a precursor. Most people forget about serarine in this context. But if serarine is low, you cannot synthesize glutathione efficiently. So even if you take like an acetylcyine or glutathione supplements, the entire system runs at like half power, you don't have enough serine feeding that pathway. You're not able to produce what you really need, especially if you're under toxic load of any kind. So, let's move into the third part here, though, which is how this shows up in

real life. Because the science is all fine and dandy, but reality sets in when the boots hit the ground with real life. So, if you train hard, your muscles are probably generating free radicals, okay? Not as damage, but as signals, or even if you're just dealing with regular stress, your body's trying to adapt. But if the antioxidant system isn't supported, that signaling turns into excessive oxidative stress. You don't recover from it. Your recovery slows down. soreness lingers, your energy dips, your workouts are breaking you down instead of building you up. Another thing is if you're under chronic stress, okay, your mitochondria are going to produce more reactive oxygen species. Again, signaling is fine. Overshooting is not. If your diet isn't supporting antioxidant pathways, or if you have gut inflammation that disrupts nutrient absorption, you get stuck in that oxidative loop where cells are constantly trying to catch up. And it's all fine and dandy to get all this stuff from food, but we're not really living in a natural environment where food would be able to counteract these things because we're not living naturally as much as we try to. I'm living in America where I have EMF and I have things and I have stressors and I have a regular stressful life. It's also a very important fundamental step in how we age. So if we have high amounts of oxidative stress, we age faster. We get more neurodeeneration. We get more insulin resistance, poor recovery, poor libido, all this stuff, you name it. When you give your cells the raw materials to stay resilient, everything downstream feels different. Your energy stabilizes, your brain feels clearer, your recovery improves, your gut feels less reactive, and inflammation stops feeling like the constant background noise of your life.
