Wedia advances digital asset management with Claude

I'm the co-founder of Vedia, a software publisher that produces a SaaS solution for managing our clients' images and videos. Searching for images, a sequence of pixels, is very complicated, so you have to be able to describe them extremely precisely and create a huge amount of text around each image. In fact, this has always been very important in the image and video field. What Claude brings to the table is a fantastic little button on the interface that, with a single click, runs the image through Claude's Vision model and brings back a lot of information in the prompt. What's interesting is that it also solves a huge problem for our clients: multilingualism. Our clients are large multinationals that don't necessarily work only in English or French. So, what Claude also does is bring together all this information in several languages. The translation tools provided, thanks to the cloud, allow you to automatically translate the caption and all the metadata into multiple languages. So, with just one click, we can describe the image in a very precise way. We have clients who manage millions of images and receive 20,000 to 30,000, sometimes even 40,000 images per month. From a qualitative standpoint, we achieve results as good with IP64 as with human intervention, and from a quantitative standpoint, we reduce processing times by a factor of 100 or 200, almost. You know, our clients have confidential images of future products that they will make available on their websites, but these images are highly confidential. Not publishing them, not sending them, not allowing them to access data, is extremely important. Non-invasive commitment to everything related to data management is crucial, and so is the transparency we had and the trust we could place in them regarding this IP64. So, our real advantage over Claude is really transparency. What Entropic gives us, uh, based on what we have as a model, is the speed and the richness of the results. We feel that we are just opening the beginnings of an incredible toolbox that we will be able to use even more.
