Gentiles, Who Are They Really? Pt 2

welcome welcome to critical thinking ministry for this quick food for thought video first let me begin by saying thank you for hanging in there with me with the ministry i am going to make a slight change in the videos for the rest of the year uh just to reiterate i am helping my daughter on a huge endeavor so in the best interest of being a responsible steward of my family i will do short 10 minutes or less videos until we are finished with the project but i am happy to say they will still be in-depth in nature and continue to pick up where the last video left off so let's go let's learn together before we get started since it's been a while since the last uh video i would like for you to re-watch that last video gentiles who are they really part one in order to refresh your memory let's start with a quick story though uh suppose i am a politician and i want to uh energize and galvanize my base uh that would mean i would have to go where my base lives so if your base is african-american you would go to the part of town where there is a large african-american presence so having said that the apostle paul said he was an apostle to the gentiles which means they are his base so in order to reach his base he has to go where they live so before we pick up where he went to reach the gentiles his new base let's look at where he didn't go on the map if you notice paul didn't go to africa he didn't go to quote unquote the middle east although at that time it wasn't called the middle east he didn't go to asia when the nation of israel rejected his message paul then declared himself an apostle to the gentiles and he went one direction to reach the gentiles paul went west if you don't believe me just look at the map in the back of any bible just look for yourselves he started in israel and let's just follow the arrows and just to confirm who his base was the gentiles just look to whom he wrote the new testament letters he wrote to the romans corinthians galatians ephesians philippians colossians thessalonians paul considered these people to be gentiles notice paul didn't step foot on the continent of africa or anywhere else for that matter if gentile means everyone who is not a jew then he should have gone to africa and other places but he didn't and as a side note at this time in history all the places paul went was under the control of rome if we look at a modern map it becomes painfully obvious who paul considered gentiles in the last video i said the gentiles today are known by another name and it starts with the letter e well you should know by now who they are yes the europeans if paul was writing today he would say his ministry is to the europeans since we the hebrews rejected him please don't get upset just study the map again at critical thinking ministry we just want the truth even if that truth upsets our current understanding i will continue with the study on gentiles in my next video for more hard facts for better understanding so until we meet again
