before one of the coolest strengths of gb1 is math and coding handles both really well so if you have any math tasks lying around go for it just keep in mind it might not handle super advanced stuff perfectly it's definitely better at math than 40 but I wouldn't totally rely on it for massive high stakes calculations coding is a different story you can ask it for almost anything programming related and it usually Nails it just be straightforward in your prompts show a code snippet and say where's the book Ask it to write new code for you or get it to explain complicated code line by line in plain English because o1 is so good at both math and coding you can even combine them ask it to solve a math problem by writing code or treat a math question like a coding Tas it's a super versatile approach that often gives you clear and accurate answers

I mentioned earlier that gb1 can read text and images and it's worth repeating take advantage of this feature whenever you can it's deep reasoning actually goes beyond just raw logic it also has a better grasp of visual data like graphs charts and diagrams compared to gbt 40 it can do object recognition that's more of a vision feature but can handle patterns and text Heavy images way better than 40 so if you've got a complicated diagram where a chart you want interpreted throw it at 01 you will see just how much deeper it can

go when you're using deep research it's super helpful to specify how many sources you want how you want chadt to handle them and to mention that it should Cate those sources that's nice to have in your prompt collay and sources gives you more balanced overview without dragging in a bunch of random details you don't actually

need even with deep research and better reasoning it still work wor fact checking any critical info but don't waste your time doing it manually just ask Chad gbt to do it for you for example simply using the phrase check if this is true can make a huge difference and yes this works best with deep research turned on so Chad gbt can actually go see if Kathy Woods title checks
