I hate working with PDFs I seriously do there is text extraction signing documents and all kinds of annoying things even editing a single word in a PDF can feel like you're jumping through hops but I think I finally found a solution that works for me and in this video I will show you how you can make edits without breaking a sweat convert PDFs into multiple formats get a full summary in seconds so much more in fact this video in one toll might be all you need to become PDF Pro the toll I'm going to use is called PDF element by w share and it's seriously cool most of us are used to the default PDF viewers on Macos or Windows and let's be honest they are Bare Bones offering only a few basic features PDF element by contrast is packed with functionality the sheer number of features it has was the first thing that made me take notice when I open the app on my Mac I am greeted by sleek and intuitive interface is already World apart from the standard PDF viewer there is a short listed features on the main screen and it definitely beats your average PDF reader but the real fun starts when I click see all TOs and the list of available toes at least triples in size check it out these are all Standalone features of the app with even more hidden beneath the surface you can edit PDFs by modifying or eding text images and Pages you can reorganize your pages by deleting rotating extracting inserting or reordering them and you can prepare forms by creating editing and identifying form Fields it also supports converting PDFs to word excel PowerPoint various image formats and other formats like ePub HTML and text files if you've got scanned files OCR lets you convert them into fully editable and searchable documents you can create PDFs from images and Microsoft Office files merge multiple files into single PDF even scan documents into PDFs and access a full library of templates for resume posters whatever you need as if that's not enough in PDF element you can encrypt your documents with passwords or digital certificates and permanently Reda any sensitive content but believe it or not that's just scratching the surface the best features of this toll are AI based which shouldn't be too surprising this is an AI Channel after all one of the standout AI features is its ability to summarize a PDF in a single click I just open my PDF by clicking summarize PDF from that m mive toast list wait a second while AI does its thing and boom I get a summary I have to say it works incredibly well no matter which PDF I throw at it since it's dealing with a PDF it first extracts the text internally then creates a concise summary I'm not sure what model is part in it but the summary is perfectly adequate and gets generated in a matter of seconds you might worry you'll have to dig around menus every time you want a summary but it's actually easier than that just head over to TOs and find AI assistant which puts all the AI features together in one convenient panel after summarizing I can immediately export the PDF into markdown file making it's super easy to share or store that markdown file includes the entire summary complete with bullet points and the key info so you don't have to copy and paste anything manually what's really cool is that this summary feature pulls up a chat interface with a built in AI assistant and you can actually chat with your uploaded PDF so if you have more questions after the summary is generated just ask them in the chat the AI will pick out the answer from your document and the best part is it shows the exact page where found the information so you can jump straight to it and read for yourself it's a huge timesaver for long or detailed documents and it makes organizing your research or notes so much simpler if you don't want to limit yourself to just chatting with one just one PDF you can actually upload multi PDFs and chat with all of them at the same time it's such a convenient way to learn I can imagine students using this day in and day out pulling in multiple textbooks or research papers at once you can have two three or even five PDFs all open for discussion one place and if you like you can summarize all of them into one big summary it's pretty awesome now if you PDFs are missing the info you need that's not a problem just hop over to chat with AI when you create a new chat and you can talk to the AI directly sort of like talking to Chad gbt the great thing is you can copy any part of the ai's response and paste it straight into PDF while editing this way you get the best of both worlds and external info source and your PDF documents all in the same workflow another standout feature is the PDF translation there are actually two translation modes one for individual words or phrases and one for translating the entire document if you

need to translate the hall file just pick your target language Chinese for example select the pages you want hit translate and choose where you want to save the new file just a few seconds PDF element gives you a brand new version of your PDF complete with all your edits but in a different language so cool if you only need to translate a few sections it's even easier all you have to do is highlight the text you want translated and the translation instantly appears on the right plus you've got a ton of languages at your disposal and they all seem to work really well and then there is something even simpler grammar checking it works basically the same way as the translation you can proofread an entire PDF or just a paragraph of course the new file still has all the edits and markings you did in the original file export options are also broad you can turn your PDF into docx RTF txt or even a PowerPoint presentation personally I find it super handy to just open convert and pick to PowerPoint and within a couple of seconds I have a PowerPoint version saved to my computer couldn't be easier lastly there is a neat AI detector feature let's say you're a student who wants to double check if a teacher could spot that your paper was written by Chad gbt you just click AI ridden detect wait a moment and you will see whether your document reads like AI generate text my PDF was purely Chad gbt's work no human intervention at all and PDF element CAU that right away it's a small but surprisingly useful feature because sometimes those tiny details can make all the difference all those AI features are such huge timesavers but sometimes you just need to make a few edits manually let me show you what else you can do in PDF element I will use the same file again open it up and right away you'll see the top menu with different tabs comment edit convert and so on in comment you'll find all the tools for making temporary changes to the PDF I can highlight text in any color and adjust the opacity or highlight entire sections in big chunks I can strike through text underline it with straight or squiggly line is a pencil to draw or eras mistakes there also text options for edit notes call out text Simple Text block or even an attachment if I need to another NE feature is measuring length directly on the PDF which can come in handy for diagrams or design work I can add stamps or signatures and I can even create a new signature right in the app so cool if I switch to the edit tab I can add text images links video and audio files it's almost like turning one PDF into Central hub for all sorts of content watermarks backgrounds page numbers there is a toll for all of it here in organize I can rearrange Pages by dragging them around insert new ones delete pages I don't need basically I can manipulate the PDF any way I want changing orientation extracting single page rot haen Pages no problem it's all very intuitive and quick if I head over to the toll section I will find even more helpful options like OCR comparing two PDFs side by side we compressing them to reduce file size I really like how PDF element puts virtually everything I need for working with the PDF in one place so I never have to switch to another app or site as someone who used to dread opening PDF files I found PDF element to be the only tool to use it save me countless hours whether I'm quickly summarizing research papers while preparing for videos editing documents for collaboration agreements or just adding my signature without having to print anything out the AI features combined with the edit and toast make everyday task feel less like chores if you're looking for a One-Stop solution that simplifies your workflow and saves you time PDF element is absolutely worth checking out just hit the link in the description to try it out for yourself thanks wonder shareff for sponsoring this video thank you guys for watching see you in the next one
