Jyotish: 2024 US Election Post Mortem

hi now that we're after the fact always as we know hindsight is 2020 Vision uh but let's look at the analysis of Donald Trump's chart I want to show you something that I think is really important there was a lot of predictions from the world of getish about who was going to win this election and some said Trump some said Harris it was confusing because a lot of the things that we look at uh were there in both of their charts but I think that if we go back to what's really simple like let's go back to the basics what I have found when you look at election charts who wins there's usually Jupiter in fact that was true for Biden Obama that was not true for Hillary who lost in 2016 and for Donald Trump it's said that he won in 2016 under a rahu Dasha period the very end of his rahu Dasha period but if he was born two minutes difference then he would have been elected right when his Jupiter period started so I'm also wondering about rectification of his chart even then rahu this gets a little bit complicated but he would have been in rahu Dasha America's in a Ru Dasha so people predict the winner of election based on whatever country you're looking at what is the Dasha period they're in the person running the candidate who has a Dasha period that matches is likely to be the winner that's one school of thought that was why some people thought Harris would win because us is in a rahu Dasha period currently rahu Mercury actually and Kamala haris is also in a rahu period though it's rahu Venus and she is in a rahu we us as country is in rahu Period interestingly enough us is in a rahu Mercury period Kam haris has mercury ruling her rising sign of Gemini and she has rahu in the rising sign so not a surprise that rahu Rose her to this High position but if you look I'm going to just share my screen if you look at Trump's chart then you'll see that he is not in a rahu Dasha period so if the Dasha periods determine who wins then how does it get explained so I'm going to go to the US chart us is in a rahu Mercury Dasha period kamla Harris is in a rahu Dasha period as well and if you look at her chart you can see that rahu mercury of the US period is reflected in a rising sign so rising sign is your social life how you are seen right how people see you and the rahu is there and rahu can really give a person a lift but now let's go to Donald Trump Trump's chart if rahu would be all important in terms of where it is in the chart Donald Trump has rahu in his 10th house and 10th house is the house of visibility of professional success of making one a king so to speak so certainly the 10th house is going to have something to do with becoming a president and also in the 10th house he has the Sun and what is the sign there is Taurus right and so he is currently in a Jupiter Venus Dasha period Taurus rules his 10th House of career of becoming of being successful right where his son is son in the 10th house is Success highly high visibility right so he has this and actually his own natal Jupiter has this aspect to the 10th house and currently by transit Jupiter is transiting Taurus therefore transiting his 10th house so he's in a Jupiter Dasha period Jupiter Venus Dasha period meaning Venus ruling the 10th house and he has this Transit of Jupiter across the 10th house so again I think if we just stay with the simple things we can get into the Dasha period we can compare our country's Dasha period if we were to go there and to say well we're in a rahu Mercury period and look at Kamala has mercury ruling her rising sign and she has rahu in her rising sign well again by the same comparison Donald Trump has this really strong mercury in Gemini and a really strong rahu said to be exalted in Taurus and so he's got a really strong rahu in his 10th house this is just a really snap analysis many people have gone into a lot lot more detail which I love but sometimes I think it's about keeping it simple and I think the hardest thing about election prediction is keeping the bias right our own personal bias out of the system but we do try to do that with ches let me also show you that the us is going through our s Sati right Saturn is currently in aquarius so we're right in the heart of our sa Sati Saturn is currently retrograde as well so again right in the heart of our sa Sati Jupiter in the US chart is in the sixth house so not as much help we have rahu and Mercury in cancer in the eighth

house in the US chart where Mars is currently transiting and then if we look at the chart of the day in November 5th 2024 sun was debilitated Mars is debilitated Saturn is retrograde Jupiter is retrograde right and so we did interestingly enough have Moon across the rising sign on that day um but there's stress in the world these days I hope that gives you some light upon which we can see our current C circumstances so again it's always about remembering your own Inner Light doing our spiritual practices keeping your light strong and bright no matter what's going on with the planets all we can see by the sky is how much support we're getting right what are the energies we have to work with and when the energies are stressed or knotted up or not so supportive then we have to remember that we have that same light within us in fact The Light Within You is the strongest and most powerful light as long as you keep cultivating that light and we've got each other as well blessings lots of L
