Intro

your videos from Sora look like this and you don't know how to fix them in the next 30 minutes I'm going to teach you everything you need to know about Sora we'll cover how to access the platform the subscription options from open Ai and dive deep into its key features from generating videos from text and images to using Advanced tools like storyboard Bland and loop you will learn how to craft the perfect prompts for the best results and avoid common mistakes plus I will show you real world use cases for Sora including ads social media and creative projects this is your complete breakdown to unlock sora's full potential let's get started even though
0:41

Access

Sora is an open aai project hasn't been integrated into Chad gbt yet so there's no point in asking Chad gbt to generate videos simply can so instead open your browser type sora. com or search for Sora on Google and when you are on the website click Start now and you will be on a page showing tons of videos created by other users in the top right corner there is a signin button click it and log in using your Chad GPT Account Details if you have a basic Chad GPT
1:12

Subscription

account you'll need to pay $20 with a Chad gbt Plus subscription this is the cheapest way to try s and it comes with some serious limitations you can generate only about 50 videos at 480p resolution and even fewer if you go for 720p each video can be up to 5 Seconds long and you can generate more than one video at a time there's also Watermark that you can't remove if you are serious about using Sora go with Chad gbt Pro which costs $200 a month can generate up to 500 videos with priority processing you also get unlimited slower Generation videos which they call relaxed videos the maximum resolution goes up to 1080P and your videos can be up to 20 seconds long you can even generate up to five videos at the same time making the process much more efficient let's be real though most people aren't going to pay $200 a month just to try out a video generator that's why it's crucial to know how to prompt correctly especially if you're stuck with the cheaper $20 plan following our instructions is the only way to make the most out of those limited 50 video slots and by the way if you want to improve your prompts and skills in Chad gbt we have several in-depth videos that can help you level up fast so be sure to check them out now that you know what to expect from Sora and how to access it let's dive into how to create better videos and unlock its full potential and for more AI TOS with in-depth reviews check out aim. me our

What can it do?

website when it comes to Features Sora has a lot going on honestly I'm pretty impressed by how much they packed into the initial release there's no weight list no beta testing for certain features they just dropped everything at once the main highlight of course is generating videos from text it's like dolly for video videos this is what most people are going to use and for a good reason but that's just scratching the surface there's way more to explore Sora can generate videos from images at first this might not sound too groundbreaking but trust me the results can be seriously impressive if you know how to promp the right way there's also a remix feature which lets us modify parts of the videos change them to our liking this one's kind of crazy but quite ficky to use the same goes for the blend feature allows you to combine two different videos and create seamless transition between them the Blendon works surprisingly well but only if the two videos share some kind of visual or thematic continuity otherwise can look pretty weird the storyboard feature is another cool Edition lets you build complex action using a sequence of prompts can be a series of prompts that continue one another or a series of abstract prompts doesn't matter Sora can also Loop videos and shorten and lengthen them by a few seconds for each of these features we've not only figured out the best prompt and strategies but also come up with practical use cases like generating videos for your social media page though Sora might not be the best pick for this to be honest if you've ever tried designing something yourself you know how frustrating can be to find the perfect font shape your text or deal with removing image backgrounds K makes everything so much easier they are sponsoring this video and it's a fantastic platform for creating all kinds of designs from logos and posters to professional Mups let's start with fonts Kettle has over a thousand fonts and it even won the award for it I don't need to know the font name to find what I need I just type something like handwritten or R Deco and kle knows all the matching options working with text is super easy I can shape it however I want in just a few clicks wave circles twists you name it all I do is click on the text box choose a transformation style and customize it to fit my design but designs aren't just about text we'll probably want images too with K I can upload any image and the platform makes it easy to remove the background upscale or even vectorize it all in a few seconds and if I don't have an image ready I can use K's built-in image generator Works fast and delivers great results every time oh and turning your designs into MBs is basically oneclick operation there's a ton of other tools like elements photos textures ornamentation and effects it's like a creative playground with everything I need in one place so if you're into design or even if you're not but want to create something amazing try Kettle for free by clicking the link in the description the first and most important

Interface

step in learning sore is figuring out how to navigate its interface where to click what to adjust and how to configure settings when you first open the site defaults to the recent tab where you'll see videos generated by sore users over the past few minutes or hours be prepared some of these videos will be pretty rough but that's kind of the point this tab isn't really for creating your own videos but more for learning what Sora can and can't do it's actually a great place to see what happens when promps go wrong so right below that is the feature tab which is essentially a Showcase of the best videos selected by open AI this tab is where you should be learning how to prompt effectively you can click on any video to see how it was created for some you will see the exact promp used for others might show features like blending image to video or something similar you can also check out these details for videos in the Recons tab there's also the save tab where you can store videos you find inspiring or want to use this blueprints for your own Creations open AI isn't holding back when it comes to sharing helpful prompts the TOs and examples are right there after finishing this guide take some time to explore the featured and recent steps to see how prompts work in real world examples before opening any video in full screen hovering your mouse over it reveals four quick access buttons remix Loop add to favorites and search that said it's usually easier to open the video in full screen mode before making any changes let me quickly cover the other tabs all videos shows every video you've generated favorites stores all the videos you've liked uploads keeps files you've eded like Source images and if you want to stay organized you can even create your own folders for example setup folders for photo realistic buos abstract visuals or anything else you regularly work with by now you've
7:26

Prompting window

probably noticed that the prompt in Windows stays at the bottom of the screen and every menu we've gone through it's always there ready for your prompts below the input field there are a few important buttons you will need to know about the first one is the plus sign which lets you add videos and images can be animated while videos can be extended remixed looped and more you can either upload your own images or choose from a built-in Library I always recommend uploading your own images because it gives you way more control over the final result next to that is the preset button where you can pick one of five different styles for your videos or six if you count no style the balloon World preset makes your videos look more cartoonish colorful and childlike stop motion add slight imperfections to motion mimic and real stop motion animation archival makes videos look all by adding grain scratches and other vintage style imperfections Fel Noir turns videos into black and white high contrast visuals like you see in Old crime movies like Sin City finally cardboard and paper cut makes your videos look like stop motion made from cutout paper shapes I'm sure more Styles will be added in the future and I'm honestly curious to see what comes next these presets don't change how you ProMed can save you time by applying a specific look without needing to describe it the next button lets you change the aspect ratio there are three standard options 16x9 for landscape 9x 16 for portrait and 1X one for Square videos after that comes the resolution selector Chad gbt plus subscribers are limited to 480p and 720p while Pro users get the additional option of 1080p video length selector plus users are stuck with 5 to 10 second Clips but Pro users get access to longer up to 202 Generations right next to that is the variations button this feature generates multiple versions of the same prompt plus subscribers only get one video per prompt while Pro users can generate up to four Vari a at once giving them more creative flexibility the last button is storyboard but that's a feature we'll cover later because it has a lot of stuff to keep in mind once you've typed your prompt and generated video or open someone else's video you will see several new buttons pop up edit prompt lets you just the original prompt used to create the video view story allows you to tweak the story board if that feature was used and recut remix blend and loop all work exactly as I described earlier I will teach you how to use each one of these tools effectively so you can create videos that actually look
10:00

Prompting

good prompting for Sora is a bit tricky and it makes sense why a lot of people struggle with it first it feels like the same tips that work for Dolly should apply here too Sora generates videos so the main focus should be on describing motion and the overall dynamics of the scene all the stuff I've recommended for Dolly and Ma Journey both styling and detailed descriptions still works here so be sure to check out our guides to refresh your memory and those tips once you're ready let's dive into some Sora specific promp and tricks tip number one
10:32

Tip #1

describe how the video will be used and its purpose this gives Sora a much better sense of the style and look you're after when the intended use is clear the creative process becomes more focused if the purpose is vague or undefined the final video might miss the Mark or come across as confusing the clearer your G the easier it is to shape everything from the visuals to the tone so for example try prompting something like a product video four jewelry brand showing the slowly rotating z-axis silver ring with beautiful highquality emerald in it with a completely black background this video will be used in TV advertising and should attract as many customers as possible I'm making several key points clear first the video is for TV advertising so it should look polished and professional second I'm describing the movement the ring rotating on its z-axis this tells Sora exactly how the object should be okay notice how the final result looks almost perfect with textures and lighting that bring out the Brilliance out of the emerald just like with image generation perspective matters a lot here the way things get shown in the video always
11:42

Tip #2

have to be described in as much detail as possible and when I say perspective I mean a pront like this product video showcasing a luxurious sports car driving along Coastal Highway during sunset with cinematic close of shots off the car's design and branding perspective defines the viewer's visual experience and emotional engagement different angles create different feelings closer built intimacy while a wide shot showcases scale specifying perspective ensures the video visually communicates its intended story without a clear perspective the shots may appear generic or lack emotional impact in the previous prompt I deliberately typed
12:23

Tip #3

during sunset that small detail completely defined the lighting for the video this is something you should never ignore when prompting video generation is all about being descriptive and lighting plays a crucial role in making your videos look realistic or cinematic you might not have a specific lighting setup in mind and Sora can figure out the default look on its own but for better results always describe the lighting in your prompts can be something simple like during sunset or more specific depending on the mood you're going for take this prompt for example product video of a modern kitchen interior with natural daylight softly eliminating the countertops and kitchen wear the LI in description is only slightly more detailed but it makes a noticeable difference if you're aiming for something even more precise you can go all out by describing things like color temperature how the lighting Contour specific objects or even a complex Studio lighting setup with multiple light sources the only real limit is sewer imagination remember
13:22

Tip #4

those style presets we talked about earlier if none of them fit what you're going for just to describe the Style Yourself Sora has been trained in a massive range of videos probably stock videos so there's almost a 100% chance it will understand what you want if you explain it clearly here's a simple example cinematic trailer for a Sci-Fi Action Movie with futuristic city capes and flying drones in the background the phrase cinematic trailer for a sci-fi movie acts as a style description tells Sora how the camera should move how the object should look and behave what kind of color gradient to apply and even how dramatic the lighting should be generating the same video without the style description would produce something much more basic you can take this concept further by referencing specific art styles or even well-known creators for example animation video in the artistic style of Studio gibli featuring abstract waterlike characters going about their Urban business in a deep red and orange quirrel city bright Thriller psychological horror okay this is definitely a weird mix but the point is Sora can handle specific art styles and mood combinations surprisingly well in this case I asked for something that blends Studio gi's artistic style with a thriller horror Vibe and it delivered so whether it's lighting style descriptions or art references the key is to be specific the more detailed you are the better Sora understands and delivers exactly what you need the idea of describing the atmosphere Works incredibly well with Sora if you want your video to be more than just a sequence of moving images if you wanted
15:00

Tip #5

to convey emotions say so tell Sora What feelings he want to evoke and how you want the video to impact your audience the great thing is that sorus natural language understanding is so Advanced that you don't have to break down every little detail that creates the atmosphere you can describe specific elements if you want but it's more of an extra than a requirement for example try prompting something like this a cinematic scene of a foggy Forest at a dawn with a mysterious glow filtering through the trees creating an eerie dreamlike Ambience even without listing every single detail Sora understands the mood and feel you're going for making the results surprisingly close to what
15:40

Tip #6

you imagine when we were generating images I made an emphasis in colors here aside from just telling Sora what colors the sky should be or car in the shot you can ask for specific color codes for example take a look at this bront animated abstract intro with strict shapes and vibrant pastel colors including blah blah I'll admit this is not a usual prompt you're going to use but it shows that Sora understands color codes and can actually use them in generate videos who cares that the video itself is strange and unfinished got the
16:10

Tip #7

colors right in all the prompts that I show you you've probably noticed one thing in common motion Sora is great at staying consistent with motion and shot the trajectories velocities and all that but it really struggles with the physics of it all because physics takes time to calculate and Sora isn't exactly calculating the movement it's more like a predictive generation that also uses real world examples for General
16:33

Tip #8

understanding so you as users should try to Define motion as clearly as possible it can be complex camera movements or minor stuff like here slow motion video raindrops hit in a c like surface creating ripples that spread outward the only motion here is raindrops and ripples but it isn't motion and Sora does generate a really good video the physics here is simple so the ripple effect can actually F someone doesn't know how water droplet of that size should affect the water below remember about textures and materials all these little details make videos much more realistic like a closeup shot water droplets gracefully sliding down the smooth reflective surface of a Polish black granite countertop capturing the play of light and Shadow and the droplets as they move black granite countertop itself sells the illusion doesn't it the water is a bit weird but the countertop and all the reflections are on point like I said Sora isn't great at physics with all this stuff
17:31

Don'ts

Sora can do there are a few things that you shouldn't do right now one don't overload it with details if you look at all the prompts in the feature tab you will see that they're relatively short they are detailed but don't have lots of things going on Motion in them is often simplistic and takes only a few words while descriptions of the surroundings take up the most of the prompt two don't use negative prompting I haven't seen any proof that works right now so for the sake of getting good results it's better to not mess with that only describe what should be in the video nothing more free don't add too much motion action Sora doesn't like complex motion like something simple predictable and algorithmic so if you want your character to do backflip then a pushup and then clap hands s will get lost and show something jumbled in this case I'd recommend trying out the storyboard feature storyboard is easy the most
18:27

Storyboard

powerful feature in s as you create longer more complex videos by chaining together multiple prompts while keeping the visual style characters and environment consistent throughout this is a game changer for anyone want in something more Dynamic than a single short clip using storyboard it's pretty straightforward just click the storyboard button and start typing prompts in sequence for example let's say your first prompt is View from a helicopter of a car without a brand emblem resembling a Porche 91 one driving a mountain serpentina Sunset it's a bit short right no problem hit the expand button and S will automatically add more detail to The Prompt then let's move on to the second prompt on a turn with limited visibility a moose suddenly jumps onto the road and stands still again I let Sora improve it for me finally the third prompt the car swerves to avoid the moves and continues driving after typing these I can see all the prompts laid out in the timeline in the storyboard interface this makes it easy to adjust things like the resolution aspect ratio and style for CAD gbt plus users the number of chain prompts is limited to 10 which is plenty for most projects however keep in mind that storyboard doesn't actually make videos longer the final video is still limited 5 Seconds what storyboard does is maximize the motion and action happening within those 5 Seconds making the scene feel continuous and I know that Sora didn't exactly follow my prompt here but this is the prompts fault if you want complex camera movements panning zooming or even subtle character actions storyboard is the way to go you don't always have to turn it on manually though if your prompt is too long Sora will automatically switch to storyboard mode after giving you a message that some actions are out of bounds that said storyboard isn't perfect objects can randomly change size color or even design from one promt to the next the transitions between scenes can be ch copy or poorly Blended if the prompts aren't logically connected this is why it's super important to think carefully about what you want and how each action should flow into the next every action should be direct continuation of the previous one don't leave too much up to Source interpretation while it's good at filling the gaps if you give it too much Freedom you will end up with a series of awkward disjointed Clips remix is one of
20:53

Remix

sora's most useful features when you have a video but need to change certain elements in image generators we're used to TOS like deaso for selecting what to modify but sword doesn't have that instead you choose a video or upload your own and describe in a prompt what you want changed this method feels unusual because it relies entirely on sora's ability to understand what's in the video for example I tried replacing water with honey in a clip featuring a granite countertop it took several attempts to get something even halfway decent sometimes the honey looked too watery or the water didn't change at all the final result looked better but still far from perfect s good the Honey's color and Shimmer right but its texture was off was too runny not thick like real honey working with uploaded videos makes things even trickier while the possibilities are technically endless the chances of getting exactly what you want are pretty slim remixing works best with sore generate videos where the AI already understands the
21:59

Loop

structure Loop is another interesting feature but it works best with specific types of videos It's straightforward to use pick a video click Loop and select which part of the video to Loop and choose one of three Loop types short normal and long short Loop is perfect for videos with almost no movement I try looping a clip of a snow covered tree with snow falling since the motion was subtle the loop turned out Flawless normal Loop works for videos with some movement but nothing too dramatic it adds 4 seconds to the clip blending the first and last frames for seamless effect long Loops does the same thing but add 6 seconds allowing more time for merging only use this for videos with lots of movement or you will end up with something super weird if you try to Loop a video with directional motion like a car driving down a road the results will be wacky and disjointed Sora struggles to merge continuous forward movements because you can't predict what happen after the last frame but with videos that have minimal motion or abstract visuals the loops can be surprisingly smooth and perfect for background footage simple repetitive visuals that don't need continuous action are ideal for sorus Loop feature use it wisely and you can create endless atmospheric background clips for your
23:18

Blend

project blend is one of sora's most creative features it does exactly what you'd expect takes two videos and creates a blend of both there are three blending options available transition mix and Sample the transition option is the most useful and unique unlike other AI tools where blending is automatic and out of your control sore lets you adj the blend and process using something similar to key frames technically it's a curve with four points that you can adjust to change the speed and timing of the blend this gives you a lot more control and allows for some really crazy transitions even with videos that aren't meant to blend together the biggest use case for this feature is video editing and instead of searching for the perfect transition effect you can just upload two videos and let Sora create something unique of course it's not always perfect sometimes the results can be weird or glitchy but the potential here is huge and I only wish the maximum resolution was a bit higher the second and third blend in options are mix and sample to be honest these seem to work almost the same way from a user perspective both combin the contents of two videos into strange Frankenstein like resol maybe they operate differently under the hood but the end results are surprisingly similar out of all three transition is by far the most useful let's say sore generated the
24:35

Re-Cut

video with a few CS some of which I don't like I just click Rec could and it opens up an editor then on the timeline I select the part of the video that I want to lengthen click create and wait in the end instead of multiple cods I get a long continuous code I can say this feature is a game changer or anything like that but it's nice for extending the parts of the videos you like and just like other features it too works best with Sora generated videos there are also a couple of easy to miss features that deserve attention the
25:06

Easy-to-miss features

first one is searching for similar remember that search icon that appears when you hover over video clicking it tells Sora to look for similar videos in its Library these could be videos with the same style theme or actions this feature feels more inspirational than practical but could help you find better versions of what you're trying to generate or give you some creative ideas for videos to blend or remix the second feature is custom presets while I mentioned there are six default presets you can actually create your own just click manage in the preset menu and a window will pop up where you can add a custom preset before doing this I recommend going through all the existing presets to see how they are described based on that you can write your own description and build something unique that fits your creative style after learning all those Sora you might be wondering how can be Houston real world projects the possibilities are pretty exciting and I've got a few practical examples with prompt ideas to show you how you can start using Sora right now first up it's video creation
26:08

Sora use cases

sometimes you just can't find the footage you're looking for or you have a perfect still photo that would look amazing as a video this is exactly how I plan to use Sora here's a sample prom photo realistic 4K slow motion of a nature scene with closeup shots of do on leaves insects in motion and a slow Sun rise over a calm Forest Clearing the result is good enough to use as is would be great if Sora had a built an upscaler or better export options for True 4K quality but even without that the generated footage can work well for Creative projects and by the way if you are curious about other AI tools we use for making videos check out our website aim. me where we post personal reviews of some of the best AI TOS we've tested ourselves next up ads as you saw with the emerald ring example Sora is really good at making product videos I can already see a workflow where you generate a an example video first finalize the style and then extend it using the recut feature with correct prompting Sora will even create cods automatically here's a promp to try product video G watch with cinematic closeup showcasing the Precision of the watch hands reflection of light on the surface and a slow reveal of the brand logo at the end the video is detailed consistent and Visually stunning the biggest challenge would be generating multiple videos with a similar look for a full product ad campaign but with some effort it's definitely possible as I said Sora excels at abstract videos abstract moving background with colorful fluid shapes swirling and morphing continuously perfect for video backdrops and transitions the forms flow smoothly create an endless seamless Loop of organic motion this already looks really good perfect backdrop for a YouTube explainer video and if we Lo it you see this is perfect now if you prompt Dynamic growing bar graph animation green screen you will get a great video for explainers or just infographics or if you want to personalize greeting or simple text with animation Sora can do that too happy Birthday animation with colorful confetti bursting in slow motion accompanied by a festive Banner reveal with a message Happy Birthday Arthur cool right and it's so simple to do working with Sora isn't
28:29

Things to consider

difficult though there are lots of things to consider like keeping your proms free of complex motion add more details about the scene itself and motion add that last be descriptive but straightforward simple wording no complexities if you want you can always ask Chad gbt to help you out should you really buy the $200 subscription if you want to generate lots of videos then yes but if you need one or two videos occasionally then you'll be fine with Plus however with plus your learning would take longer since you have to wait for credits to be replenished and let's not forget that Sora is not available in many countries check out this list no Europe so you'd have to use VPN to access it from Europe and all countries not in this list I don't think this is a problem but definitely not a good thing and the generation times when the load in servers is high can take a few minutes to generate a video and the higher the resolution the longer it takes but hopefully in a year or so opening I will release Sora o or something like that will be faster more accurate and use less credits but for now Sora is definitely one of the eBay video generators out there the competitors have almost cut up and if you want to see a comparison drop the like subscribe to the channel and I'll see you in the next video
