We are going to be testing out Manis projects with connectors. So this is the new update from the Chinese AI super agent Manis. And inside their 1. 6 update, they now these connectors in projects, right? So you can, for example, say check my email, schedule it, search on LinkedIn, and then summarize the person's background in notion, right? And you can connect this to different automations as you can see right here. You can create a new project, set up a connector, and then basically from what I can see, this essentially creates like these flows, these automations. So, we're going to test this out. You can also, for example, create like shared SAPs with your team. And it's rolling out today. So, let's test it out. We're going to go
into Manis here. And then it says connect your tools for manus. So, let's try for example browser here or new project. Let's create a new project. So, test. We'll create a test workflow. And then we can set up the project. And basically what this allows you to do with manage projects is like you can turn repeatable tasks into persistent reasonable workspaces by saving all the references, right? And so this connects with for example like your browser, email, Google calendar, Google drive etc. And once connected these can follow automatically. So you can basically set up these automations that run in the background. So let's see how we could use this. I'm actually going to go on to
Claude here just for a test run. We'll say create a super simple automation idea based on this. Keep it simple so it works well that's realistic. Using Claude to come up with the ideas for the workflow simply because Claude knows me, you know, pretty well. He knows what work on dayto-day. So it'll be loaded with good stuff. So let's try this simple manus automation daily news brief for live streams. What it does every morning manus automatically pulls the top five AI news stories saves them to Google doc ready for your live stream. Okay, let's try this out. So we say this prompt like so. Plug that in. We'll go to projects when and we can connect apps
here. So let's say for example I want to connect Google Drive. I'm going to connect it like so. And then if we go back to manus now it said I've successfully set up your daily news automation. Starting today, I will search for the latest AI news tools, releases, updates, and every morning blah blah and save it to your Google Drive folder. I've already prepared and attached today's brief for you to review, easy information. It's actually created a doc for this. And we can click on this and then create a website based on that data news. And if we click on this, you can see that it set this up automatically. Now, you can add connectors here. And the way that you add connectors is inside this section. So, you just click on add connectors and then there's all sorts of things you can connect to. So for example, you could connect Canva or you could connect like Zoom info, Slack, etc. Lying, which is pretty cool and incredibly easy to do. We got that daily schedule task as you can see. Now it's building a website and we just have to choose our design. So I'm going to go with that one. We'll click build now and it says I'll build a searchable AI news resource based on that and we'll build with this. Malik says good information. Thank you very much. And that's building out the website. In the meantime, let's
try something else. I say what else can we do? And so the workflow here is basically like you can take ideas from claude or whatever AI you use day-to-day paste in the information from madness projects as you can see with the latest update connectors and then from here you can start building out. This is on the free plan by the way. So if you actually want to use if you want to use like more or better credits you can just upgrade. So let's try and upgrade now. Craig says do you store all your recordings inside school? So you can actually get the recordings inside YouTube if you go to the stream section. If you just go to Julian Goldie, then you can get access. And yeah, we store them inside school as well. All right. So, I've just upgraded to Max now as well. And what we're going to do from here is if we go back to our projects. So, let's go to test workflow here. And I'm going to say, okay, connect my tools to Google calendar. So, let's say, for example, this inside projects, right? we want to create a workflow with Google Drive. So, we can connect Google Drive over here. Use a different account. We're going to select all, hit continue. And now that should be able to use Google Drive with connectors inside here. We can do the
same inside Gmail. So let's connect Gmail now. And we'll test this out. All right. So I'm going to say okay. Let's go back to here. We should be able to connect Google Sheets as well. Oh, look at that. So I think it can use Google Drive, but it doesn't seem to be able to use Sheets. I was going to tell that. Sorry, Claude. Let's see what we got here. Save it to Google Drive. It should be able to organize my Google Drive now with the connectors. Let's waiting what we got here. So Craig says, "So YouTube is your go-to for video. " Yeah, YouTube is still cool. I found you on X and then added you on to Facebook. So, what's your favorite combo of platforms in order? Yeah, I mean YouTube is my favorite. Like this. We're going to allow manage to take over the browser here. This is going to be interesting. So, can it actually navigate to Google Drive? That's what we want to know. But yeah, I mean YouTube I mean sorry. Yeah, YouTube is my favorite. We're going to allow that. And this is using my browser now, I think, as well. Why is it taking so long? Let's see what it's doing in the background. So, it's giving us two options. Would you prefer I authenticate with Google Drive or create the brief locally? All right, let's say authenticate with Google Drive. Vibe coding is not as easy as people think. I would agree if you want to build something super complex, like really simple, a quick tool, quick calculator, quick website, you can easily do that. But if it's something like really complex and a big app, then it's going to be more difficult. I feel that side says, "Hi, good to see here. " So now it's browsing Google Drive. We can actually see what it's doing as well over here, right? So you can see how it's navigating to Google Drive. Now this one is still building out the website. Oh, there we go. Let's see if it's actually useful. Yeah, there we go. So, I mean that is a new update that's come out from YouTube. So, it has found some interesting updates and it's turned it into a nice little landing page. It's pretty simple, but it looks okay. This seems to be stuck. Why is that stuck? Ah, that's why. Do we need to enable Google Drive? So, just bear in mind like you have to enable it here inside the connected section. By the way, we've got loads of video notes and workflows on this stuff inside the AI success lab completely free community link in the comments description. So, it's authenticated with Google Drive now. Saved the brief. Let's have a look if it's actually done it and then delivered the results. So, let's have a look here. We can actually view it on Google Drive, I think. Boom. There we go. All right. Nice. So, you can actually connect with Google Drive. As you can see right here, it's created a sharable folder, sharable page. So, we can copy that link. We can actually schedule that task to run daily, I think, as well, which is pretty cool. So, let's say now I want it to run that project each time. Think I can edit the project here, edit the instructions over here, right? And then what I would do is take the prompt from this, right? We'll go back to the project now. Make sure you've got Google Drive enabled. Make sure it's enabled inside the chat as well. So, make sure you want to connect these as you can see. Right. So, you've got these connected. And then inside the instructions, you just plug in whatever task you want it to do each time. Right. So, you can see here, for example, we've plugged in this brief. It's going to save to here and hit save. Right. What else can we do inside here? So, you can actually connect to Manis browser as well. You can actually install this Chrome extension and that'll connect as well. Let's have a look here. So, we can add this to Chrome. There we go. And we should have that Chrome extension set up. Click get started. Now we've got my browser, email, and Google Drive connected inside the project. We've got the instructions set up. And now we say, okay, do the daily news update. And you can just come back to that each day, I think. And it will run for you. All right. So it said I'll search. So based on the instructions, literally the only prompt I gave you was like do the daily news update. So it'll search for the latest AI tool releases and news from the past 24 hours. Compile the top five stories and save them to Google Drive. Then it's going to automatically do that. It's using the browser. Going to authorize that. It's going to start opening a new tab. I'm not controlling this. The AI is like, you can see my answer in the air. And what it's doing is actually just researching the web using the browser tab and the project instructions to connect directly to the web. Right? If you have any other questions whilst we're going along as well, feel free to ask. But yeah, you can see it's now browsing through the web. It's doing its research. It's looking for the latest AI news. This is updated from 23rd of December if you look here. So that's pretty cool. And then we can just have that running in the background whilst we go and do other stuff, right? So, it's actually doing its research in this tab. We've got the project running in this tab and then, you know, I can just go off and use Claude or get back to my workflows inside the AI success lab and just start working my magic. So, it is a really cool update once you get your head around it. It's just a little bit complicated to set up. I think mammoth is not as easy as it used to be and there's so many different tools you can set up here. So, you could say, for example, set up Google calendar, email, etc., right? You could, for example, set it up to hub and you can manage your connectors here, add new ones, remove old ones. And the cool thing about this as well is like once it's set up, you're good to go. So, you can actually get it to use, for example, Slack as well. Miniax, it connects to as well. So, it can actually generate like music and images and videos. Zero will probably be a really cool one. Stripe as well. Let's
set up Google Calendar here. So, now it should be able to create inside the project Google calendar events as well. So, let's try this. So, I'm going to say, okay, well, create a calendar event for a live stream today at 4pm GMT, plus send an email to me at julianoldie. com. And again, this is still using the AI in the background to do other stuff. Plus, it's completing that task over here. So, you can have like multiple AI agents running in the background. It say create a calendar event for a live stream today at 4 p. m. Send an email to me and chilling. com or to let's just chilling. com about it inviting. Let's see if that works. Open says is melon. I mean like it kind of is free but it's like only up to a certain limit. So I think honestly if you really want to get value out of this you wouldn't use a free version use the paid version. So now it's clarified the workflow and broken it down in steps. It's like right here's a live stream title. So I'm going to change that to this email. So body just inviting people 1 hour to the 1 hour live stream. It sort of like takes whatever goody good you give it and then it breaks it down in steps and then from here you can start automating. Now, if we go back to that previous conversation, you can see it's actually automated the daily collection now, right? So, we can say set up an automated daily collection that posts to Google Drive at 8 a. m. And it's actually set up a schedule task to do that right here. So, you can like schedule tasks. You can set up these automations for different apps. And then from there, you can easily go off and automate what you want. And then you can see here as well, it's got the top five stories with the Google Drive link. And there you go. All right. I don't really like the way it's formatted to be honest. Like I would, you know, if I was going back and forth with this a bit more, I would definitely recommend improving the formatting of the actual post. But was that easy? Was it quick? Have we scheduled it? Absolutely. And you can see here we've scheduled the live stream now. So let's see if this one works. Also, this is inside the AI browser as well. So you can ask chat GPT different questions here. So you could say, okay, give me some more ideas for workflows to use inside this automation. And then you've got the AI agent running over here with Manis, but you've also got Chachi Atlas running on the side over here as well, which is pretty cool. All right, it's giving us a bunch of ideas. So, for example, like auto topic selection, live stream hook generators, right? Based on the AR news, talking points and bullets, right? Auto calendar and reminder Slack when a live stream is scheduled. And then actually during the live stream, you could have like a live notes capture, you could have real-time comment finders, dynamic CTA rotations, etc. And even like auto clipping, right? So there's a bunch of cool automations you could get ideas for with chat GPT. Then copy and paste those, plug it into Manis, create more automations, and basically you can build like a full like live stream machine or whatever you're trying to build right here. And that should happen every morning at 8:00 a. m. now, right? So I don't need to do live stream research anymore. That's great. And now it's beginning to use Google Drive on the other chat to create the calendar invite as well. It's using MCPs to connect these, by the way. If you're not sure how it connects stuff, it uses MCP calls. And then you can see here it's given us a calendar event to approve. So we'll click create and that should create inside my calendar the event plus it will email me with the details. Right? You see here it's using Gmail to send that. And then we can click send over here. And if I go to my emails now let's go to gmail. com. Boom. There we go. Right. So we've got the invitation for the live stream. It's like hi Julian. You're invited to the AI news brief live stream today at 4m. Here's what we'll be covering. Here's a bunch of cool stuff we're looking at. Looking forward to seeing you there. And that's come from me at julener. com. Right, if we go back here as well, we've got the calendar invite. We can click yes, no, approve, whatever. But it's basically scheduled that in for 4 p. m. GMT today with the title and how easy it was set up. Right? So once you get your head around it, it was a little bit of a slow start, but once you get your head around this stuff, it's pretty amazing. Pretty simple to set up. I like the way it automates stats. connects to everything really easily. And it is very intelligent model. Manless has definitely leveled up there.
