<Untitled Chapter 1>

hi welcome, Teachers Tech. My name is  Jamie and it's great to have you here   I have something a little different  tonight I'm bringing in an expert in   productivity I have Francesco from keep  productive here and he's going to take a   look at some of the best productivity apps  for teachers in 2023. take away Francesco Jamie for having me here on teacher stack  I'm very excited to bring all of you my   best recommendations for productivity tools for  teachers in 2023. anyway folks let's dive into   them the first one on my list is todoist and I  think todoist is such a great tool for keeping a

Todoist

teacher organized especially as we go into this  next year now the reason I recommend to do this   because it presents a great to-do list experience  that's simple for everyone who wants to just get   started but has the complexity in the future for  sharing projects for collaborating with others and   going deeper on your task management if you're  trying to keep yourself organized with all the   things you need to do as a teacher this is one of  the best all-round experiences for that number two   this one is slightly more advanced so it might  not be suitable for everyone but it does present   a great option for those who are into research  capturing notes and bringing their ideas together   in a collective space and the application is  free and it's available to download all your   computer as well it's the nicest pure obsidian now  obsidian is this PKM tool and you're probably like

Obsidian

what's a PKM tool it means personal Knowledge  Management and that's basically a posh word for   personal note-taking but basically obsidian  is a great way to keep everything organized   connect ideas together research and capture  stuff as you go and really bring your note   taking into one location so if you're looking for  a hardcore note-taking Solution that's going to   be great for making sure that you're connecting  these ideas together great for journaling great   for all different scenarios recommend checking  some videos about it obsidian is the tool for   that number three is explain everything I talked  about this application a few times but as great

#3 Explain Everything

as a visual whiteboarding application but is a way  to bring to life fun visuals for your students and   I would say it's one of the great ones as well  for remote work especially if you have one or   two remote sessions a week with your students  this one's really nice for that there are some   Alternatives so number four our app is Apple free  form if you are using iPads in your classroom and

#4 Apple Freeform

you want to get to the latest version of the iOS  system they've got a brand new app called Apple   freeform which is great for collaborating in real  time and being able to sketch stuff out as a class   so a great one for that if you're interested in  using your iPad devices make sure they're on the   latest version moving on number five is Miro very  similar to both explain everything Apple free form

Miro

it does take it a lot further but this is great  for remote collaboration on ideas and thoughts   this is one of the best ways to get ideas and  visualizations out to share with you and your   classroom and I think that a lot of people  starting to use it to be able to bring these   lessons to life in connecting ideas creating  flow charts and really using the community   templates are pretty extensive on here but I  recommend the Miro for bringing to life some of   your lessons and finally if you and your students  want to maybe get a bit more organized and watch   class timetable you've got coming up and what  homework there's a great   app called subjects and it's again really  well designed great for keeping your students

Subjects

organized because in my opinion trying to keep  your students organized can sometimes keep you   organized because they become more proactive  individuals obviously it's difficult with the   ages I can imagine but at the same time if you  have the opportunity to introduce an app to them   like this then this could keep them organized and  focused for the classroom so folks thank you very   much for letting me dive into these applications  thank you very much to Jamie for having me here   on teachers heck to dive into these productivity  applications if you'd like to follow me you can   find me over on keep productive And subscribe  there and of course if you're new to Jamie's   Channel check out teacherstack the one you're  watching this video from thank you very much   folks I look forward to seeing you over there and  I'll see you all very soon Cheerio thanks Jamie
