I’m 95% sure this strategy works

so I'm stealing something out of my friend Adam's Playbook he and I had a conversation the other day about big projects the big things that we want to accomplish that we might not necessarily start on because we're always trying to find something else to do instead the idea of the big project means oh my gosh there's so much work and I've got this other little thing I need to do first instead of thinking about the big project as a whole why don't we focus it on the first five percent what can we do in this space today to get us to that end of that first five percent so that we feel good about starting something and then the next day we do another five percent or whatever it is we have another opportunity to do another five percent and whenever we do get to that five percent we're okay with finishing and doing it in that moment and not worried about finishing the whole big project in other words take it a little bit more easy on ourselves but find ways to get to the finish line
