Let's open the brand relations mailbox. — Thermo works is one of those brands that sends me a lot of free stuff because I have an affiliate relationship with them. Uh I do feel kind of bad because I'm not very good at affiliate marketing. Like I don't have one of those linkin bio type pages. But in my mind, this is their flagship product, the Thermopen 1. This is like the best thermometer ever. I don't think anybody ever comes close to ThermoWorks. But they make a lot of other interesting stuff. This is a silicone stirer that's specifically for reducing things. So, if you say reduce this mixture by half, you can stir it, mark it at three and then measure again until it's at like 1. 5. Kind of interesting. These silicone lids that they make are also pretty interesting. I think this is one of their newer products. I think the only annoying thing about these is that if you put them in a dishwasher, they kind of flop over. They're a little bit less easy to clean because they're not rigid, but they make a really tight vacuum seal on whatever vessel that you put it on top of. Like look, this is holding up a pot with no problem. This last item definitely wins the award for cutest item in the brand relation mailbox so far. It's a teeny tiny fun-sized version of the ThermaPen. Not as accurate, I assume, but it does clip to your keychain. It's so tiny. It's so cute. And you know what? I don't think it would be totally crazy for this to be useful at least once a month when you're out in the world and you need to measure the temperature of something, be it a cocktail or a piece of meat, and you don't have your fullsize theopen on you. Great idea.
