You, Me, and Three | Exploring AI agents in the consumer industry

Which AI trend or innovation is impacting your world? Well, I do most of my work in the consumer space, and one of the things that's having a huge impact is agentic commerce. This is where an agent on behalf of a buyer is dealing with seller, and those agents are actually negotiating things. So then that's going to be completely disruptive and completely new to the industry. Can you share a success story or use case? I do a lot of my work in the restaurant industry, and we're working on and deploying now some agents to do pricing. So imagine you own a restaurant and you have-maybe it's a bakery-and your agent is watching to see, OK, these muffins have been sitting there for a while. Maybe we can start to discount them. So they can dynamically change those prices on the menu and enable you to sell them before they're, I guess, past their prime. What are the biggest challenges that you see? So the biggest challenges we see actually is just all about readiness, you know, and scaling. Clients of ours will have, OK, I built this pilot or I built this one demo. But I really can't take that and scale it to the bigger enterprise. And a lot of that has to do with the availability of data, the availability of talent, and the fluency in AI in their organization, as well as governance, and really the commitment from the senior leadership to build it into something that's end to end.
