AWEA 2019: New Products from Aztec Bolting Celebrating 20 Years in Wind

all right so we are here today at the twentieth nineteen oh we a wind power show with Larry from Aztec we're excited and we're excited to be here yes so Larry can you tell us a little bit more about a stack I started a stack in 1987 as a means to go into business for myself and get into the market of being able to provide hydraulic torque wrenches etc kind of like a new wave of technology over and beyond the well we used to do it this way kind of stuff but here's a new way at the time I believe I was maybe one of five competitors including OMS and today I'm one of many but I'm still here after 32 and a half years of business that is true and how long have you been in the wind market 20 years Larry can you tell us a little bit more about the bike behind us and significant to Aztec well the bike represents how it is it Aztecas customer what we try to do with any customer regardless of size we try to customize the level of service to accommodate that client's needs and dollar values insignificant to us as much as it is to provide a quality service because after the sale is complete the service begins to it's a necessity to provide after the fact so it's a means to meet the end and taking care of a climb absolutely so at Aliya wind power 2020 what new products are what are your favorite products that you've got in the booth today actually I've got two favorite products today awesome one is the Joule battery tool which you're introducing it's new to the States it's a product made in Germany we've got a full line of battery and electric torque wrenches and the second is one thing I'm really excited about is a wireless remote control hydraulic torque wrench palm oh wow that's a double wow this is anyone else in the market have any oh I know No thing no we could talk to different providers and say hey we've got a need for a battery or a wireless remote control and they'll say something like well give us some time and we'll come up with something we came up with this in about 30 days and we prototype it tested it and we have it here at the show that's fantastic it's pretty cool well Larry thanks for sitting down with us at wind power engineering element and what you guys continue to pull out for the next couple years oh yeah well the future has a line store it does I'll hold on Wild Ride
