Meet Mariia, Senior Portfolio Manager at Ørsted

I'm Maria. I'm a senior portfolio manager at Ursel. I'm responsible for implementing and operating power purchase agreements for buying and selling power. You learn a lot about finance, risk, trading, accounting, financial regulation because my daily work involves coordination with many internal teams and stakeholders and making sure that everything is up to their expectations and as per regulations. The key to my success at ORS is definitely people that I work with. We have a great feedback culture and that's also what made me become more self-confident because my manager and my colleagues provide continuous support and I know that now I can handle a wide range of task knowing that I can have sparing session knowledge sharing sessions that could help me to accomplish this task at my best.
