Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00)

hey everyone this is Stephan James from Project Life Mastery and today I'm going to share with you six of the biggest decisions that you can make in your life to make the quality of your life better now what I'm sharing with you today are merely projections of my values and my beliefs that have led to decisions in my life that have made my life better and I do understand everyone's different you might have different values and beliefs than I do there's many different ways that one can live their life this is neither right or wrong this is up to you to determine for yourself and your life however I think what you'll find is that most of these decisions I want to share with you are universal meaning that most people make or aspire to make these decisions in their life because universally they work they do improve one's quality of life but again that's up to you to decide I'm going to make an argument for each of these six decisions and maybe try to convince you to pursue them and maybe up your standard for them in your life so with that being said let's dive in the first decision is the decision to become financially free in one's life why is this important Financial Freedom means that you no longer have to trade your time for money and most people are spending a third of their life their time the most valuable asset that they have there's only so much time it's a depreciating asset you only get so much of it but they're spending a third of it working at a job or working for money doing something that they don't really want to do doing something that's not their passion it doesn't fulfill them they're just doing it because they have to do it because it provides an income they need that income to survive pay their bills to support their loved ones and so they're doing it because they need the money and Financial Freedom means that you get to a point where you no longer are trading your time for money you have passive income you have income that's coming in 247 while you sleep you built some vehicles in your life such as a business or investment vehicles or real estate but you have these vehicles they're making you money on autopilot without you having to trade time for it and that leads to Financial Freedom where that income that you're producing passively is covering your expenses it's paying for your lifestyle you no longer have to trade your time for money meaning you have more time in your life and when you have more choices you have more options you're no longer a prisoner of having to do something instead you get to do something and when you get to that point in your life transforms it's a very magical place to be and when you have that freedom in your life you can literally decide any anything that you want to do with each day of your life you could do what you want when you want with whomever you want you know you could wake up and decide to start a business or pursue a passion project or volunteer or to take up a different hobby or different interest or spend that time with your family or with your loved ones or to learn things go through courses read books to travel you know you really have unlimited options of what you want to do with your life and that's when life again becomes very rewarding and very fulfilling so Financial freedom is one of the biggest decisions that one can make and I know for me when I discovered this idea this Prospect of being financially free it blew my mind I never heard of it before nobody teaches you in school you know most people are conditioned and taught and kind of let in the direction of going to school get good grades get a good job or maybe start a business and then trade your time for money and work and get promotions and kind of climb that ladder or whatever and live in that rat race until you're eventually 65 years old and you can finally retire and I remember when I discovered the book The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim FIS blew my mind the idea of working only four hours a week the idea of passive income I also remember reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and Robert kiyosaki's books and discovering this idea of passive income and Financial Freedom when I discovered that in my life I made that decision because it's a decision in your life to become financially free because once I knew that existed and especially when I was young you know I got into self development when I was 17 18 years old and you know I had the whole world in front of me I had my whole life you know why would I go down the path of going to school spending all this money get a job and go down that path when I knew this other path existed that you know was Less Traveled it wasn't as popular of course but because I knew that existed how could I live my life and not take advantage of that if I want to live my life to the Max and have the best possible experience of life that I can have then how could I not pursue that decision of becoming financially free and so that's a decision that changed my life you know it's really allowed me to retire in my life which is also an option and a choice that one has it doesn't mean you have to of course the idea again is having that choice if you do want to work start a business if you do want to work in a job or pursue a career you're doing it because you want to do it rather than you have to do it because you need that paycheck in order to survive so that's a huge game Cher in one's life and for me personally the way that

Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00)

it's transformed my life is being able to again spend my time my most precious asset that I have in the ways that are more meaningful spending with my family spending it and investing it into my marriage you know most people struggle in their marriages and their relationships because they're exhausted they're tired they're working all day and they come home and they just have nothing to give to the relationship or they their family you know or you can invest that like I do in my body you know going to the gym playing golf playing tennis taking up different activities in sports going on bike rides going out stand up paddle boarding enjoying the swimming pool you know um you can really optimize and improve your body and your health when you do have Financial Freedom going down a more deeper spiritual path as well you know if you're a spiritual person there's more and deeper levels that you can experience and go to when you have that Financial Freedom you no longer are tied to having to trade your time for money so it's a huge game Cher in one's life because you can really maximize and optimize all the other areas of life that are incredibly important and meaningful that lead to deeper levels of fulfillment so Financial Freedom that's the decision that one makes in their life the how of becoming Financial free is you know there's many different Paths of course of doing that whether that's building online businesses and side hustles and leveraging the internet in some way shape or form or it's through investing I will say though that the ultimate place of Financial Freedom at least for me that I realized in my life is through Investments meaning you work through a business or a job or whatever means that might be but it's what you do with that money and building your net worth and having that net worth being invested in assets that produce income for you know if you can get to that point and have assets like real estate that pay rental income or maybe it's stocks that pay dividends index funds that pay dividends or interest or some sort of passive income from those assets that's a more sustainable source of Financial Freedom than having a business will ever be because the business will depend on you and still your time and your management and being responsible to manage and run that business and with business the world changes right if you're leveraging the internet you have an online business that's great you can make some good passive income from that but as five 10 15 20 years goes on that business has to change and evolve to keep up with the time so it's not fully passive versus if you invest in Microsoft and Apple and you know Google and Tesla and Nvidia and you know these different companies or index funds on the market the CEOs the leaders of those businesses are going to evolve with the times and they're more passive for you don't have to be involved in really much uh way in order to receive the passive income from that and so there's some Investments like index funds that I like that are lifetime Investments they're ones that I don't really need to sell or trade or anything like that they're set and forget because they're going to outlive me in my lifetime and produce a uh a forever passive income and that Financial Freedom that I really want so I'm not going to go tactical in this video when it comes to that but making that decision of Financial Freedom is really key and one more piece I'll say on this one of the most difficult decisions I had to make in my life I remember was making a sacrifice of immediate short-term income that I was making from what I was doing and instead investing that time that I could be making over here immediate income and investing that into that long-term dream of becoming financially free so let me give you this example so I remember I had a coaching business and I was doing one-on-one coaching which means that I was trading my time for money and I wanted to make more money and so the way that I made more money is I did more coaching I took on more clients and I was making pretty good money for every client that I coach and so I could fill up my days and fill up my weeks with coaching clients and make pretty good income immediately but the problem with that is that I was trading my time for money meaning that if I stopped working work if I stopped serving clients if I stopped getting clients then that income would immediately stop so I had to make the decision though because I realized that this was not sustainable in my long-term goal of becoming financially free because you know I'm trading my time for money and so I had to make the difficult decision that I think most people are going to have to make in their life or might have to make where I realized that I needed to cut back on my clients my coaching clients and take less income and free up a couple hours a week and instead invest those that I could have been making money with but instead invest that into a vehicle like my online business that would not produce any immediate income for me you know it's very difficult to make that decision right because here you know you could spend those you know four hours or 10 hours and make a certain amount of money in your job or you know something that you can trade that time for money but instead by starting a business you're not getting paid right away building a potential asset that can

Segment 3 (10:00 - 15:00)

then produce passive income for you and so here I was you know making that difficult decision because I knew what I wanted long term and so long term I was willing to make that sacrifice and I was able to you know build my my business on the side and put in a lot to it because I believed in it I believed in the Financial Freedom that I wanted in my life and then sure enough as time went on I started making money from that and it became passive and eventually that income replaced the money that I made from coaching and I no longer decided to do coaching anymore or if I was going to do it it's because again I wanted to rather than felt like I had to do it so I want to throw that out there because I think there's a lot of people um you know they're of course trading their time for money and it's because you haven't yet made that decision right that's why it's a decision that you make when you do make that decision you have to make sure that your actions in your life are in alignment and congruent with what you ultimately want which would be that decision of becoming financially free that might take you years to get to that point I know it did for me but for me making that decision especially at an early age I mean I made this decision in my early 20s it's allowed me now in my 30s to live totally free however I want to live and it's freed up now the time to do whatever the heck I want to do so all those sacrifices that I made in that shortterm period were definitely worth it even sacrifices I made with family or friends or other recreational activities and fun I could have had at that stage of my life I knew that once I became financially free now I can do whatever I want now I can make up for that lost time now I can hang out with my friends all I want to or travel or do you know have all the fun and all the recreation that I want to so you have to have that ability to think big picture enough and commit to that decision now the second decision I'm going to share with you is the decision to become wealthy in one's life now what do I mean by wealth there's different definitions of wealth of course it's subjective for some people becoming you know a millionaire Is wealth multi-millionaire 10 million 20 you know hundred million dollar a billionaire of course it's different for everybody but the reason why I share this is important is and kind of what I mean by this is ACR a significant net worth and I would suggest today in today's economy being a multi-millionaire is a wealthy Pursuit so having a high enough net worth of millions of and which by the way is what potentially is required in order to create that long-term sustainable passive income that I mentioned right because if you are going to have that sustainable passive income and not just income from a business to have that sustainable passive income you have to build a NES TIG your principal net worth and have that in assets that are producing income for you and in order to live off rental income or dividends or interest you do need a significant Nest you need to build a Mother Goose that's laying the golden eggs and you never touch that goose but you can take those eggs which is the income that the goose is providing and live off of that but you never touch the principle you never touch and harm that Mother Goose because that Mother Goose is what's going to create that freedom for yourself and so creating that wealth to create the lifestyle that you want and have that Financial Freedom is what's important but also having a level of wealth where not just your Necessities are taken care of but you're able to really invest your money in improving the quality of your life now for everyone that's different you know for some people you know they want to have wealth so that they can have nice cars and nice homes and you know materialistic things and those things are great but I'd argue that the biggest values that wealth can bring and provide for one's life is number one being able to really improve your health so for example having the financial means to be able to eat organic food that's less processed food that's not genetically mod ified food that is you know organic like you know fruits and vegetables that has you know rich soil that has the nutrients intact you know obviously that's quite expensive with the cost of living today and inflation and you know it's not everyone can afford to live in the way which is the best for our bodies but it's important to be able to invest in your health because your health is your experience of life it's your vehicle it's your temple that allows you to experience this gift of life and if you don't have the money to be able to invest in it then you know obviously you're going to compromise the quality of your life in some way by not being able to really take care of your health so being able to buy you know cleaning products and deodorants and you know a whole host of different products that are the highest of quality being able to maybe also invest in supplements you know certain supplements that can help you optimize your health and improve it because maybe you're deficient in certain things and there's certain supplements that can really help you optimize your health that can increase your longevity that can help you with anti-aging that can help you in so many

Segment 4 (15:00 - 20:00)

different ways or also be able to invest in health treatments I mean even just be able to get blood work done and work with health coaches and you know invest in different biohacking technology all of these things are great luxuries to have that allow us to um optimize our health and again live longer and have more energy and look good and feel good it does require money to be able to do that and so you know how much money that is different for everybody but I know for myself I invest a lot of money into my health and it would be possible if it wasn't for the wealth that I created so that's critically important having money to invest in your health growth and your development as a human being having the money as a resource to invest and solve different problems that occur in your life because without a doubt you're going to have problems in your life and you know money is a way that can mitigate the stress from those problems won't be catastrophic if you have a health problem or challenge or maybe there's a problem with your home and you don't have proper insurance or you do have insurance but maybe it's not covered you can have certain events occur in your life that could be so significant and really compromise the quality of your life if you don't have money to be able to solve those problems with so having wealth is crucial for that I think another value of having wealth in terms of going back to the idea of invest of having more time in one's life and that value of that and how precious your time is being able to have help is critical for you to be able to pursue your passions and live how you want to live so for example if you have a home depending on the size of the home of course some homes are bigger than others but cleaning a home can take a lot of time and for a lot of people cleaning your house is several hours a week now I have a pretty big home here in Panama it's 7,000 square feet it requires two people to clean it every day especially if you have kids and a dog right it gets messy pretty quickly and so for me and my wife if we're to spend our time cleaning all day we would you know we wouldn't be able to have our time to do and live our life how we want to and so we have help we have people that clean for us do our laundry the Landscaping we have people that take care of maintain the pool all right having that help in your life especially if you're going to upgrade your lifestyle is also very crucial and that does require money another valuable aspect of money also if you're going to have kids is the child care you know if you want to do preschool and all that that's totally fine as well but if you have the money you now have the option to either hire a nanny someone that can help take care of your child which is more optimal and ideal than preschool or you know if both you and your partner want to have you know be stay at home you can do that or if you want to work or do whatever you have that child care which can also be very expensive as well so having wealth and that's subjective up to you to determine based on your lifestyle the quality of life that you want but having money having wealth I think is a critical decision to make in one's life to go beyond average go beyond most people to be able to absorb inflation economic downturns uh you know to be in a situation that if there is a war you know if there is some sort of situation going on that you could flee the country you can go live somewhere else I mean there's people that are in some parts of the world like Venezuela or Ukraine or you know certain conditions and they can't leave because it's a financial matter and when you have wealth guess what you can get another passport residency you can travel you can pick up your family and go somewhere else and so even thinking from a survival perspective for the worst possible case scenarios wealth is a protection of that and is allow is basically a way to help ensure that you survive with whatever's going on in the world so I think in today's day and age it's even more important than ever the third decision to make is the decision to commit to constant and NeverEnding growth meaning that you're always open-minded to learn something new to apply a resource or find resources that can improve the quality of your life now most people have a fixed mindset they're very rigid they're very closed off to new ideas and they're very comfortable and complacent in their lives and the challenge with that is that you know you're going to suffer and struggle in life and you're going to have problems that occur that you're going to feel hopeless that you're not going to be able to get out of you many people they get to a point of learning learn helplessness where they believe that nothing will work and they just accept the misery that they're in and they don't you know welcome the idea that they can change and overcome any obstacle any problem in their life when you have a growth mindset you believe that you can constantly improve and grow and overcome anything in your life and so what does this mean and what does this look like it means for that for the rest of your life you're going to be open and proactively learning to improve yourself and the lives of those you know the people that you care about and so that could be reading books it

Segment 5 (20:00 - 25:00)

could be you know going to seminars listening to podcasts going through online courses listen to audio books um exploring and being open to other resources be able to try different things and I think one of the reasons why you know for me when I look at this has been so valuable in my life is we're all going to go through low moments hit rock bottom if you're married you're going to have some rough patches in your marriage you might have you know some really challenging moments and times in your marriage or with your family or with your health or whatever it is we all go through that in life it's inevitable but when you have a growth mindset you believe that there's hope you believe that you can overcome and get through anything because you are open to all these valuable resources that exist in the world where other people have had the same problems that you're going through right now and they've found the solutions to them and they were open and willing to share that in a book or a course or as a coach or whatever way she perform that are avail ailable for you to benefit from and so you can model other people and when you realize there's a solution to every problem or challenge it makes you feel very optimistic in life so if you're going through a challenge in a marriage you know oftentimes you know people end up in divorce because they're so attached to their views and they think that they're right the other person's wrong you know and they're close-minded and they get into this place of resentment and blame and anger and negativity and you know it's often when people are desperate maybe they seek out therap and whatnot but when you're on a growth mindset often times it doesn't even get to that point because you're reading books and you're being proactive and so you're doing things to ensure that your marriage never even ends up in that low place to begin with you know if you're going out and reading relationship books every single year and you're learning new things and you're applying that to your marriage of course your marriage is going to be better relationship's going to get better you know if you're constantly looking at ways you can improve yourself and you have an awareness of maybe the fact that you have some anger and some negative out at times or you have some anxiety or depression that you're working on the fact it is crucial because it means that as long as you're working on it and you don't give up then things will get better they will get better without a doubt they cannot not get better if you have a growth mindset so with the growth mindset you have an awareness of things in your life you're being proactive you're improving yourself and that also means your health your body maybe means your finances it maybe it means your spiritual life maybe means your mental health your emotional well-being you know but if you're always improving yourself becoming happier becoming more positive becoming healthier becoming more fit becoming more loving more giving more abundant you know and you're working hard and you're becoming disciplined and you're you know working on your flaws and your weaknesses and you're constantly trying to get better and you're open to that then you're going to just have a better life it's just as simple as that there's no argument of that so that's a decision that one makes to push themselves challenge themselves grow be open to always maintain and sustain that mindset of growth um that's a very important decision that can transform one's life and ensure that someone's life is always getting better now the fourth decision is the decision to find someone to share your life with find someone amazing remarkable your soulmate someone that you love someone you have a passion for find that person find the one to share your life with now you're may be watching this you already have that person in your life fantastic maybe you're single and you're looking for that but you know or maybe you're you know some people believe in just staying single you know they don't want to get married you know commit to a relationship my argument for this is that experiences in life are Amplified when they're shared we're meant to share experiences in life there's only so much that we can experience on our own we're all love bugs we all want love more than anything else in the world most people they believe that if I achieve and I become successful and I you know become worthy of Love essentially because we're all born in unconditional love it's the one need that we've all had as human beings when we're infants that is fulfilled by our parents that ensures the survival of the human species and so we all crave love in some way shape or form and by finding someone to share your life with it's a way that you can go deep in the experience of love if you stay single just dating people then you're always staying at the surface you're never really experiencing the depths of love yes you can have fun and adventure and dopamine highs and there's you know great novelty and great uh dopamine high that comes from meeting someone new and that can be very addictive a lot of people can stay in that cycle but it's not fulfilling it's not as fulfilling as finding that one person that you love more than anything else in the world that person that's your best friend that person that you can share the experiences with travel learn and grow with that person that's going to trigger you

Segment 6 (25:00 - 30:00)

your deepest fears and deepest insecurities that's your spiritual partner in life right because your intimate partner is going to bring up your deepest fears and insecurities more than anything else and there's an opportunity for you to grow in ways that most people never do by staying single and staying at the surface so it's a profound experience it's not always easy there's ups and downs there's challenges of course in any relationship but that's part of the growth and that's what's beautiful about it you know we've all not everyone but a lot of people that have had traumas from their childhood they had attachment issues with their parents whether they're more avoidant or more anxious not many people have a secure attachment style and so that trauma those experiences that we've had in our childhood and the relationship with our parents can manifest in our intimate relationships but the intimate relationship provides the opportunity to heal those wounds and to heal those traumas and for us to become more whole and more mature and more emotionally and spiritually evolved so it's a beautiful aspect of that I remember for me you know when I was single for you know a lot of my early 20s and um I would travel the world by myself and go to Southeast Asia and Thailand and South America and had all these experiences by myself and that was fun it's great being independent it's definitely fun and it you know benefits to that but I also remember many moments when I was traveling and going to hotels and resorts and you know you often eat by yourself and so you go to the restaurant by yourself and you're eating your meal and you look over and you see a couple that's in love and you think yourself wow that would be special that'd be nice to have or you're going you're watching the fireworks and you're sitting there by yourself and you look over you see a couple you know holding each other in each other's arms and um you know you think wow it'd be really magical to have this moment right now to share it with someone else that I love you know I know for me just traveling the world thinking wow how much better would this be to have someone that I can share these experiences with you know even moments I had when I became financially free and became financially abundant you to make all this money it's like you can't really tell anyone you know your friends how much money you're making or certain experiences it's going to make other people uncomfortable there's very few people you can share that with but when you have someone to share it with which is your intimate partner the person that doesn't judge you they love you unconditionally that's special and so a relationship allows us to grow it allows us to experience the depths of Love they allow us to spiritually evolve in our lives amplify the experiences and to share this journey of life with somebody you know you don't want to be in the position where you're in your 60s and 70s and 80s and you're alone you know those are the moments of your life where you're going to really wish that you had someone to share your life with and it starts with making that decision and if you're single right now or maybe you're in a bad relationship it's either trying to repair that to improve it to optimize it taking on that growth mentality or it's also you know looking at how you can improve yourself you know how can I become a more attractive product that I can put out in the market that can attract the right person to me in my life how can I improve my confidence my social skills how can I be a better uh you know Potential Prospect that other people desire and want to pursue and want to be in a relationship with or maybe there's certain principles and things that you need to learn that no one's ever taught you about relationships about the masculine the feminine and all these different dynamics that can be quite complex and that's why it's so valuable to learn about it so make that decision I think that's one of the most valuable decisions that one can make in their life and I think oftentimes people avoid that or don't want to make it because they've been hurt they've gone through pain they've opened their hearts they've Loved Before and they've been hurt by that and they close themselves off they don't want to be hurt again and they keep a distance between different people and they just accept living the single life and just having the short-term fun and GR ification but again looking at the long-term sustainability of that you know where do you want to be in your 50s or 60s or 70s or 80s or 90s and your hundreds you know um if you're always growing maybe you can get to 100 plus years old why not but you have to think longterm in your life and where you're going to be at that stage as well so the next decision uh number five is the decision to build a family um I have a beautiful son in my life my wife and I have another baby on the way and starting a family was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life uh it's the most rewarding thing that I've ever done um if you're for love have a family have kids because the experience of love that you have with kids is unlike any other love that you've ever experienced in your life and it only requires having kids to really know that you can experience love through psychedelics and MDMA and breath work and meditation and through friends or maybe love of your business or love of your customers and even an intimate love there's are all different forms of

Segment 7 (30:00 - 35:00)

love but the love of the children that you have and bring into your life is unlike anything else it's one of the most rewarding experiences of life it's really the purpose of life is survival and replication it's what ensures the survival of the human species if we don't reproduce and if human beings did not have that biological animal drive to reproduce then you and I would not be here our society our world so it's a biological program that we all have it's part of our factory settings is to reproduce and um not only does it ensure the survival of your genes and build future generations and to uh you know repopulate this planet and hopefully do so in a way where you bring people into the world that have great values and integrity and honor and honesty and contributing members of society um but it's part of your legacy it's part of Honor ing um the ancestors that you had and the sacrifices the decisions they that they made to ensure that their bloodline has come to you and continues Beyond you and so I take that as a responsibility now I understand not everyone wants to have kids today it's even like controversial in some ways because we live in a day and age where you know people today are now making the decision to not have kids whether it's the cost of living or whether people are more in a mode of you know selfishness in a way not as a judgmental way I don't say it in that way but they're you know wanting to live for themselves and travel and have fun and all of that sort of stuff and I think my opinion is that um many people are missing out by not having kids in their life and making that decision now I understand that the experience of kids can be very challenging without a doubt but it's definitely a lot more challenging if you don't have the first two that I mentioned the fin Financial Freedom and financial wealth when you have Financial Freedom Financial wealth and the reason why I also prioritize those decisions in my life is because I knew it would make the stage of having a family so much easier number one when it comes to your selfish desires of wanting to travel and not have your freedom being inhibited and all that sort of stuff I get that because definitely having kids does limit your freedom you know creates a greater responsibility in your life but I almost wish that those people could have wealth and Financial Freedom and be able to ex exhaust all those selfish desires to be able to travel the world you know I've been to 50 plus countries you know make millions of dollars buy all the toys that you want to have and do all the things you want to do with your life to exhaust them where there's nothing left for really you know you get to a point when you do exhaust those as I did you're just like all right now what you know and now you're looking for something more meaningful more fulfilling and that's what kids and the family provides I think a lot of people they're still stuck in that cycle of trying to get somewhere to create the you know um life that they want and be able to travel and live that and I was blessed to be able to experience that at a young age and um you realize just how empty and Hollow a lot of that is in comparison to the experience of having a family so I understand everyone's different some people might not agree with me some people maybe are not meant to have kids and that's totally fine I respect that but I think for those that are on the fence my argument is are you for love do you want more love in your life if the answer is yes then kids is going to bring more love in your life and I can't think of much that's more important in your life than love you want more fun in your life more playfulness more Adventure then kids is a fantastic way to experience that because when you have kids you're actually reliving your entire life in many ways because when you have a kid you're thinking back to your experience of Life at that stage and you're thinking about your experience and you're sharing and helping develop this human being in ways that you wish that you had your childhood and that you developed in your life you wish you're kind of able to share the best of yourselves with that person to create a better version of you so it's really incredible to experience that and to experience that reflection and that journey of Life all over again and the experience of raising and developing kids and I know for me one of the Visions I have because I'm always a long-term thinker is thinking you know while it is very challenging having young kids but thinking in my 50 s and my 60s and my 70s my 80s going back to what I said before having people to share your life with it's great to have friends but many friends in your life will come and go you know many your friends will change they'll move to another part of the world they'll have their families you know friends are great to have on your life but it there's not the same level of attachment and love as you do with your family and so when you have kids I imagine myself in those later years of life and having kids that I get to share my life with I get to live through their experiences of life I get to you know

have a family Christmas you know dinner and have you know all my kids and grandkids all at the dinner and be able to share and have that profound experience of fulfillment knowing that I created this and that you know these are my genes my family they're going to outlive me for many generations to come it's a very special thing to be able to experience that especially in your later years of life so I always thinking long-term in that capacity and um I'd encourage you to as well because yes I totally get it very challenging to have kids but again the Financial Freedom the financial wealth makes that experience so much better and so much easier because you can have the help time all of that what most people don't have can make that experience magical and Incredibly fulfilling so that's why I also share those decisions as well now the last decision is the decision to commit to a spiritual path having spiritual practices in your life now I understand again this one everyone's different you know there could be a form of religion some people don't believe in religion or God and they're an atheist or agnostic or whatever it is some people are more new age spirituality I'm not here to tell you what to believe in but my argument for a spiritual path a spiritual practice in your life is that it makes your life significantly more meaningful and fulfilling when you believe in a higher power God when you believe in something greater than yourself it allows you to experience life through a different filter a different lens that you believe that you're being guided you trust in something greater than yourself that when you're going through hardship and Challenge and adversity you believe there's an empowering meaning and purpose from that you believe that it's a spiritual reason you're going through that is helping you grow and evolve so it's a tremendous benefit to have a spiritual meaning um spiritual purpose as you go through your life but also not only that but it's tremendously beneficial in the context of having morality and ethics you know when you have a certain standard of higher States Of Consciousness that one could live by and experience helps ensure that you're going to be a better human being person you're going to be more honest honorable you're going to be integrous you're going to do the right thing and so when you have spirituality in your life it uplifts you and helps you live your life in a more positive way I I'd also say that pretty much all different religions and scriptures and you know different teachings that are being shared universally share a lot of the same things and one of those things is to live your life with love to receive love from your creator I mean that's an amazing gift and experience to have to know that you're unconditionally loved because you're here and that something Beyond yourself loved you enough to give you this gift of life so you're able to receive a tremendous amount of love but also live your life with love another Universal is forgiveness you know spiritual practice helps you forgive others and be able to let go and surrender to trust in something greater than yourself and have faith you know when you are going through hardship or someone's wronged you know it teaches you not to seek revenge but to pray for that person to send them blessings to take the high road right that's spirituality allows you to do it just helps you become a more conscious human being that you have something to strive for to be better in life and most often different religions and throughout different spirituality there's different historical figures whether that's Jesus or prophets or the Buddha or Krishna or whoever it might be Muhammad that are positive examples and role models for us to also live up to as well and so that's also very valuable to believe in and have that in your life for that purpose purp as well I'd also say that spirituality allows you to experience what's really important in your life oftentimes it's very easy to get caught up in The Superficial ways of living life to get caught up in greed get caught up in different Temptations get caught up in you know pornography or sex and you can easily be led down these negative paths in life you know you can see it in people in Hollywood and see different celebrities and see different people that you know you can tell they don't have a spiritual practice in their life because they've kind of let they've made some really bad decisions that have gotten them in trouble and I think a spiritual practice in your life kind of keeps you humbled and uh keeps you moving towards being a good quality person but um I think a lot of people that get again tempted by a lot of these different short-term Pleasures in life that pull them away from spirituality um I think often they get consumed by things that are not as important as they think they are and

Segment 9 (40:00 - 41:00)

when you believe in something greater than yourself and you're spiritual you see a lot of the insignificance in a lot of these feeble Pursuits that people have shallow and H Hollow Pursuits uh that people get consumed by and I think also as you're pursuing wealth it does help humble you and keep you in check in a lot of beautiful ways and then one more piece I'll share with it as well is I think it helps you live in the present moments it helps you experience life for what it is rather than living in your mind all the time um it's really valuable to live in the here and now and that spirituality helps you to live from a higher place of Consciousness a higher stage of awareness where you're not just being run by your patterns but you're aware of things in a different way and that's very freeing and very powerful so again everyone's different I'm not here to tell you what you should do or what you should believe um that's up to you to decide but these decisions that shared with you I think are crucial in living a better quality of life they have been for me and again this is merely a projection of values and beliefs that I have in my life everyone's different I know there's people that might disagree with what I'm sharing but you got to decide that for yourself but I think for most people these have universally been decisions and aspirations that people pursued because they work because they're incredibly important and they do lead to a greater quality of life for many so I want to leave you with that hopefully you enjoyed this video I want to thank you for your time watching today God bless you I love you and I'll see you again in another video take care
