Let’s build my dream vinyl corner 🎧🌟

I absolutely love how my Chicago loft apartment is coming together, but my record collection was desperately missing a dedicated home, so it was finally time to stop settling for a basic setup and build the ultimate vinyl corner. So, let's rewind and I'll show you how I did it. The vision started with this IKEA display cabinet, but the original finish wasn't quite doing it for me, so we gave it a custom stain to warm it up. I also refused to let messy cords ruin the aesthetic, so we drilled a hole through the bottom, and I ended up putting my TV box and all the cords into this box and covered it with the vinyl, and you can't even tell that it's there. After that, it was time for the fun part, and I put all of my vinyls in this bottom shelf because they fit perfectly. I've been collecting these for years, and my collection is slowly but surely growing. I added this IKEA Fado lamp. It's one of my favorites, and I've gotten a lot of questions about which record player I have, and this one I got from Urban Outfitters. This is the exact model. For speakers, I'm currently using a Bluetooth one. It's the Marshall Emberton 3. The sound quality is seriously so good, but I've heard plugged-in ones sound much better with the record player. So, if you guys have any recommendations, please let me know. And then lastly, I put these vinyl holders that I had in my last apartment on the wall to display some of my favorites. And this is the final result. I'm super happy with how it turned out. This was the perfect spot to put a media and vinyl player setup.
