Basically, you're not going to get yield on stable coins and you won't be able to participate with a lot of different DeFi protocols. So, it's essentially a bad bill for everyone. The banks are throwing a fit again and if there's any type of yield in this bill, they will continue to fight back even harder. So, we might miss the midterm deadline. The bit CIO says that the Genius Act helped unlock a lot of different tokenization for crypto fundraising. However, you're not allowed to participate in a lot of that because you're retail. So, these bills aren't really for the people and completely removes the retail aspect from crypto. Hype ETF had a very solid first day and brought in about 1. 8 million on the first trading day.
