Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00)

JD has been subject to, and this is well known, but I'll just confirm it, non-stop treachery from people on the neoconservative side. — Who are these people — around Marco Rubio? And they have been totally against JD Vance from the very beginning — that specifically, — you know, I don't know is the real answer. I don't know. — Accusing people of treachery, so I'm wondering. — Well, I know there's been a lot of treachery for sure. And I know they've been they were so mad about JD getting that job. I mean — they who's they within the White House. — I don't you know I don't know the answer to that. I've never worked there. So like if you don't work there you can say you know you can say what you think you know but it's hard to really know. — This is me looking skeptical. — Yeah. Well no me being honest like I don't really know. — Um nobody is better at being honest and dishonest at the same time than talking. You know it's just that's unbelievable. — Yeah. He he does have a great stick. Um it is a shtick but he comes off as being honest and selfcritical and humble and I mean he can always pivot into the good Christian you know I'm as big a sinner as anyone you know I'm not judging like who am I to jud like he can he really has man he's carved out a space psychologically for himself and as a matter of uh the expectations of his audience and again, his Bible thumping has a lot to do with this. Um, where he can really play tennis without the net pretty much all the time. Like he can get things wrong and apologize and then get things wrong again and then double down and forget that he said something and claimed that he never said something and then they roll the tape and he said that thing. I mean, he claimed he, you know, he said he wondered out loud whether um Donald Trump is the antichrist. And uh when she asked him about it, he said, "I never said that. " and then they roll the tape and obviously he's at it and but he there's no stakes, right? He's got an audience that will put up with just pure bloation and self-contradiction and weirdness and and you know claims to um certainty on topics that are, you know, about which he, you know, no one could be certain and um also just, you know, he's a deeply weird person in his convictions. I mean, he thinks all the UFOs are spiritual entities that live under the ocean. I He's a wild man in the kind — Trump is supernatural, right? — Yeah. Trump's got an aura that is so overpowering that, you know, he may be in fact supernatural. Um it's uh he's not a serious person, but he's doing serious damage to our culture, right? He's just he's a um I don't know h what to call this phenomenon in our public life now where there are people who have enormous audiences that hang on their every word apparently and they um they talk like lunatics half the time. I mean they really they're deeply certain about things that no audience no sane member of their audience could think they're certain about. And then when you and the the move that Tucker has that, you know, so people like Candace Owens, I don't think she ever does this, but his move, you know, displayed there is he just um he can constantly kind of pull the rug on him on himself and say, you know, I'm not saying this, I'm not saying that. Now I'm saying this again, but I'm not saying I just didn't say the thing you heard me say. I mean, he just he talks out of both sides of his mouth all the time. Um, I didn't think that interview was as bad for him as many people thought. I think he's very good at seeming sane and and then kind of hiding all of his, you know, obvious insanity and dishonesty and error under the bushel of just these are my generic religious convictions and you know you I know you New York Times can't criticize those, right? Um, so he's so the supernatural stuff. I mean, he if you drill down on some of his claims, they're um they're not, you know, normal Christian claims. They're they're, you know, supernatural gobbledegook, but um, everyone backs off when you just play the religion card normally. So, he's he can hide a lot of there. He's just mastered the ability to talk on camera as though he's just talking to his best friend and he's just so honest. He's like, I'm I am not somebody who is better than anybody. I mean, I'm — Yeah. I'm just — But then he'll just express sheer contempt for everybody, you know, and he'll give you both barrels of contempt. Uh and then — but I don't want to judge anyone. — Take it all back. I'm not I'm the biggest sinner of all. I'm gonna destroy the I'm gonna destroy Ted Cruz as the spawn of Satan. Uh but I didn't just do that because I you know

Segment 2 (05:00 - 05:00)

who am I to judge anybody, right? And then I'm going to give a completely friendly interview to a Nazi uh Nick Fuentes or a Holocaust revisionist/dener Daryl Cooper and not ask a single skeptical question of either. Um and you know that's just me. you know, uh, who am I to push back on anybody? Uh, but then I'm gonna grind down Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabe because they're not aligning with my current passion project. Um, I just don't I don't understand the audience that doesn't see any of this.
