72 Year Old: “This Is Why Most Marriages Fail…”

How long have you been married for? Married in '87. 39 years? Yeah. Yeah, 39. What has contributed to 38 years with the same person? A lot of relationships, as you've seen in some of our interviews, they don't even last a fraction of that time. For some people, it's like opportunity to change. Relationship is always a compromise. And sometimes compromise can be a sacrifice. And too much sacrifice can break the relationship. — What would you advise for someone who is unmarried? What should they look for? You have to be passionate about the person, right? I mean, why do you want to get married? My advice would be that you have to stick together for a couple years and see if this person is really what you want to hang out with for the rest of your life. Then you understand, right? Can you define the word love for us? I would say that love is a relationship, right? So, a relationship means that is bilateral, right? That is bidirectional. Yeah. And therefore, it has to be a two-way thing, right? I mean, take two to tango, so to speak.
