Nancy just turned 102! Happy Birthday Nancy 🎂

Last year, I played a little show in San Francisco and during the performance, I noticed a young lady in the front row. She was 99 years old at the time. My goodness. Nancy? Come here. I've waited all my life — 100 years. — I waited all my life for you. You know, something happens with music when it goes in you and it tears you up and it's part of your soul and then — Yeah. I have loved Quincy Jones. I have loved Herbie Hancock. I have loved Take 6 way before you were conceived. — I mean, those that's the stuff that's in me. — Yeah, and me as well. — somebody Mhm. that is personifying that is what's going on in me musically is I can't believe it. Just thank you. Today is her 100th birthday. — [cheering] — Nancy, we wish you — What would you say on your 100th birthday is the most important thing that you've learned? That I've learned? — Yeah.
