This battery automatically senses the inverter communication protocol. You don't have to do any settings and it'll start communicating immediately. If you have a second battery, you plug that second battery's communication cable into the first battery. If you have multiple batteries, you also need to remove this cover and select the DIP switches. The Nexus is 300 lb, but thankfully it's on wheels.
