Why Jacob Elordi always looks effortlessly stylish

Have you ever wondered why Jacob Elordi always looks so effortlessly stylish? Well, first of all, let's not kid ourselves. The man is 6'5, slim, with money to shop at Bottega like it's H& M, and has amazing stylists. Shout out Wendy and Nicole Ferreira. So, all of those attributes definitely help. But, put the luxury brands and the height aside, you got to admit, the man still has a pretty killer style. So, let's unpack what makes his style so cool. The first thing you'll notice is that he keeps his outfits fairly minimal. Not necessarily plain. In fact, he loves to inject a pop of color here and there, but for the most part, his outfits are comprised of fairly simple pieces. He very often wears his staple jeans, that tow the line between a straight fit and a wide. He loves to layer with a plain white tee or a white tank top as a base, and his shoe of choice 90% of the time is a pair of black leather loafers. Those are his signature pieces that he always goes back to, and often builds the rest of his outfit from. His next layer of choice is usually some kind of knitwear. Sometimes a crewneck sweater or a polo sweater, but more often than not, he goes for a cardigan. And you'll notice he often uses his knits to inject a little uniqueness to his look, whether it's through an interesting texture, a pop of color, or a subtle secondary color. When it comes to outerwear, he loves a double-breasted black overcoat. Man's just like me, for real. The key here is that he never goes for a coat that's too slim or too small. His coats have wide shoulders, volume in the body and the arms, and they always go past the knee. This gives off what I like to call big coat energy. It looks effortless, like he just threw on his only coat last minute as he left the house. Yet, it's so chic and cool. Lastly, the accessories. I can't emphasize enough how important the small accessories are to Jacob Elordi's look. The obvious ones are the baseball caps and the sunglasses. He often ends his outfits with a colorful cap and either a blocked-out sunnies or a more retro pair with an orange tint. Now, onto his less obvious accessories of choice. One, the huggie earrings, which he never takes off. They're basically just tiny hoops that hug your earlobe. And two, pinky rings. He's often seen wearing at least one pinky ring, if not two. And of course, how could we forget about his bags? Out of all the Hollywood celebrities, I'd say he's been one of the biggest contributors in popularizing bags for men in all shapes and sizes, from shoulder bags to weekenders, from handbags to crossbody bags. Elordi always has some kind of bag on him. I think all of these elements together contributes to this cool guy image he's got going on. It reminds me a bit of the Italian concept of sprezzatura, which I made a video about. It looks effortless and like he's not even trying, even though his looks are meticulously crafted to look this way, and he's got a team of stylists to help curate that image.
