Introduction to Skywork AI Super Agent

Today we have a brand new AI super agent called Skywork that we're going to be testing out today. I've already run a few research reports through it. It's pretty powerful so far. And you can see here basically you can generate for example documents, slides, Google Sheets. You can also create web pages. So you can see here some great like League of Legends for example, niche indie games, etc. You can even generate podcasts which is pretty wild as well. And then also you can create like general vlogs and that sort of thing as well. So let's get straight into it.

Signing Up and Initial Impressions

Basically if you want to sign up they do have a free version and then it depends on the credits you use and then you can get free a free trial as well. But essentially once you log in Skywork is going to look something like this once you've signed in. And one of the most

Generating Research Reports

impressive features of it so far is its research papers. Right? So what I'll show you here is you got two different versions of research. Right? So for example, you could do your typical research where you go off on the web, you start generating responses, an example right here, and then you can turn this into a really nice presentation. Right? So you can see here's the content we generated and we literally just said like research the AI industry and the future potential of AI agents with verifiable research. It went off uses it MCP tools to actually search the web like you can see. And then from here it can generate a slide, right? It has an MCP tool called write the outline. It generates a slide based on that. And then from here we have the slide generated. All right. So that's like the version and then if we scroll to here you can see the full version of the presentation. You can actually download that directly. So you can actually export that as a Google slide, PowerPoint, PDF or HTML. Pretty amazing that you can just basically say go off do this and then it goes off on the web, researches everything and generates a nice research report in like one single prompt. Pretty insane. Calio says good evening. Good evening to you too, sir. And then from here we can keep going in. So if we have a look at this research paper, it looks really nice. What you can actually do is edit it as well. So you can actually edit the content of it. And you can see this is like a sort of click drag and drop feature where we can edit different parts of it. And then also if we click off cancel and then we go to full screen playback we can actually play the presentation full screen right so you can flick between really easy and simple to do but it creates like this beautiful PowerPoint presentation where you can do research. Now that's not even the best part of it.

Deep Research Mode

This is just a basic research report. But what you can actually toggle on is a mode called deep research. Right? So for example, if we go on to this research report over here, we can see there's actually used a lot more sources inside the content. So this original research report just using the basic mode created a research report with six different sources, right? So you can see it's a source from like science direct direct, IBM for example, some big newspapers there. But if we actually X off that and then we go over here, this is another research report that I've generated, but this is using something called deep research. Right? So the way this works, it actually uses a lot more sources. So you can see here, for example, it's used 30 different sources. So the first version used six sources, the second version used 30 sources. All right. So as we're going along here you can see that we can basically use for example like Google Scholar open Alex as well and these are basically ways of generating much more indepth research reports that you could start actually using like at a professional level I would say like this is going to perform better than most research assistants that you've hired. It's way easier to do and it also confirms with you what you want to do here. So you can choose like the language you can generate research reports in different languages here. You can also choose the topics. You can actually edit the planning process and then it asks you like okay which aspects of AI agency most interested in research time frame etc. And then you've got a full to-do list here of what it's going to generate and from there it starts using this MCP tools directly on the web. Right? So it's connected to the web. It's got all these different tools. It can actually browse the web as well. So if you click on this you can see here it's actually browsing Stanford University's website which is pretty wild. Right? you can actually see and understand the page and what's going on and that sort of thing. So, as we keep going down here, what you can also see is we've got the aggregate information. So, I don't know how many MC tools are connected to Skywork, but that is pretty insane. And then as we scroll down, we've got the slides being generated automatically. And then it comes back with this research report right here, which is much more in depth, right? The other thing that I really like here is used a lot more sources. So you can trust the data much better. And then also if you go into the code here, you can grab the code and then you could host that HTML code if you wanted to on your own domain. Also if we go to preview on this section here, you can see it's created like this really beautiful charts, right? Let me pull up side by side the differences. So this is the original basic report that you know most AI agents are going to give you. And then this is the report that's a lot more comprehensive. Now you see how it's used a lot more data inside this section. So it's like plotted some charts out. He's given us like these growth rates, investment, the market projections, etc. And then from here you've got the current AI sections and everything else, right? So it's really nice, beautiful report and just way more in depth. Like if you actually want something that's a bit more concrete with more data, this is the way to do

Transforming Research into Podcasts

it. So, Alex Dawson says, "Can we see it transform the material into a podcast? " Sure, let's do that in a second. Essentially, if you want to know how a podcast works, you can see an example right here, right? So, you can actually upload a file or you can search the web. Um, the way that you would do this is let's say for example, we want to use this file. So, we can download this as a PDF, right? You can, by the way, you can download that as a HTML as well. And then, for example, if you use HTML, you can host it. And then once that's done, what you can actually do is you could turn that into a podcast, right? So you would go back to the main page here and you would select pod podcast. What you can also do back in here just before we move on here is you can select between general, travel guide, in-depth analysis, proposal report, etc. Right? So you can choose all these different types sources and then you can enter your content. it will estimate how many credits you're going to use, which is pretty good because then you make sure you don't rinse anything. So, we've downloaded that PDF, right? So, if we open up that PDF, let's have a look here. All right. So, this is the PDF that we just generated. And Alex Dawson wants to see us transform the material into podcast. So, let's test this out now. If we go over to home, then we're going to go to podcast. And then we will upload the document. All right. So we can do a local upload or we can upload from the knowledge base. We can also add links or text. We can use a cloud upload or we can use professional data as well. So I'm just going to go with the upload locally. Plug that in and then we've got the source. Right. So now once we've done this, now we're going to go create the podcast based on the attached PDF. Right? So that's one way to generate it. And you can see he's given us a credit allowance here. So it came up with 10 credits on that. Now it says your request has been received. Skywork is organizing information to provide a comprehensive and accurate answer. So now I said I'll help you create a content podcast based on the attached PDF first. Let's see what's in it blah blah. Now if we

User Interface and Usability

go back to Skyworks homepage whilst we're waiting for that to load. The other thing I would say here is like the UI is super nice, right? Like it's just it feels a lot easier to use in something like Gen Spark or Mana that sort of thing. The UI is really easy. And then also if we go down here we can actually have a look at some previous podcasts that have been generated. So if we go to podcasts here you can see a bunch of different options. So let's click on the mystery of the black dalia. Open that up. And then you do get the option to remix what's been created previously. So for example you can click on create skywork. The way that this has been done is says search the black dalia case blah blah. I'm actually not going to use that example because it's a little bit dark. We'll try this one. Monetizing AI whilst working. So, you can play back the task here that someone has created previously. And then from here, we'll generate Billy says, "Don't forget to thumbs up. Appreciate you, man. " Yeah, that's awesome. And then Alido says, "Where you located? NC worker in Greensburgh. " So I'm actually not based I've never actually been to NC but I will actually work remotely online. Like the last sort of I would say five t years I've lived all over the world and traveled then been running an online business. So I've lived in like Colombia, Peru, Bali, Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, all over the world. Yeah, that's a beautiful thing about working with AI. You can work from anywhere in the world, right? So from here we've got the podcast test as an example. So we've got the task on the left hand side and then we've got the podcast here. Now we can actually open that up in full screen and you can see the transcript over here. So let's play this back now. — Welcome listeners. We're thrilled to have you join us for today's podcast on leveraging AI for effective side hustles strategies for busy professionals. I'm excited to dive into this topic with you. — Absolutely. It's such a relevant subject in today's fast-paced world. Before we jump in, let's talk about why AI side hustles are perfect for full-time employees. — Right? So, you can see here how you can generate that response. This is just a demo. So, what we can actually do is go back to Skywork on the podcast that we're generating and then we can see where we're up to with this. Maxim says, "Let's see if it's better than Abacus, Genpark, or Miniaax. " Yeah, I got to say I'm not a huge fan of Abacus so far from what I saw. It just kept breaking on me pretty much every single time I used it. Miniax I enjoyed, but it was the credit system I didn't like. Like it was you had to subscribe for everything and it was very messy.

Exploring Skywork's Open Source Capabilities

Genpark is decent, but I would say the main thing with Skywork is that it's number one, it's open source, right? So it's really good for that. You can actually get it on hugging face and also GitHub and there's all these different generators here. So you can see for example we got sky or skywork etc. And then also the wide research is super powerful on skywork. Then additionally you can generate these podcasts which are really cool too. Now if we go back to our podcast over here let's see what we're up to. Close that. That's working in progress now. Let's have a look how it's generating it. So it says request has been received. Here's what it's going to do. We actually have the option of auto execution. So I didn't edit any of these bits before we generated the outline. Then it creates a to-do list and then it starts using the tools. Right? MC MCP tool use tools write to file etc. Right. Wayne says who makes this trustworthy? It's open source isn't it? So you can use it how you want and also it's hosted on a virtual private server if you just wanted to use it online. Right? So if you prefer that's probably a better way to look. The other thing is here right like why is it trustworthy if you can for example let's say you're using chat GPT often hallucinates which means that it's not that educated in the answers that it gives and so you can't really trust it like a decent percentage of time it's going to hallucinate whereas for example if you can source like 30 different places using the deep research option then with skywork you actually get more sources which makes it more credible and trustworthy so that's the way that I would probably look at And then from here we can wait for the responses. So it's now generating this. And yeah, if you have a look on hugging face, you can see all the different models, right? So for example, if we go over here, it's got 1,200 followers on GitHub. Let's open these up. It's got all these different versions of Skywork. Maxim says Skywork is really good so far. I would agree. And then if we have a look. So we got the GitHub here. This is Sky Reels and it's like infinite length film generative model. Right. So you can see here it can generate these videos like this. So let's open this up. See what it's like. It's like this. This one is cool. Look at that. And then you can run it locally as well. So you can just clone the repository and the command. Boom. You're in. What else we got? So, we got Sky Reels, Skywork. So, it's pretty good at video generation. Also, you can also generate these sort of open world games as well. I've not played around with this so much, but it looks pretty cool. So, you can, for example, like generate these open worlds. That kind of reminds me of Skyrim, to be honest, if anyone used to play Skyrim back in the day. And you see some examples of what you can build and that sort of thing. This is really interesting because this is the way I see the world going at the minute. We've got these AI agents that can basically go off and replace AI employees, but also these open source worlds are really interesting. I think that's where I see the next 12, 15 months going when it comes to AI. Let's see what else we got here. This is like the main version of Skywork, the benchmarks, etc. in terms of how it performs. And then we have the deep research agent. It's pretty crazy that the deep research agent is open source, right? And you can see it comes with the MCP manager. So if you like running MCPS, you can use it through the GitHub here and deep research there as well as browser use which is super useful too. So you can see how it connects in terms of the architecture. So you got deep research agent, browser use agent, and then analyzer agent and MCP agent. All right. So, if we come back here, we've got the podcast generated, right? So, this is based on the research report that we created. And then we can play back this trans. — Welcome to Tech Horizons. I'm David, and today we're exploring the fascinating world of AI agents, what they are, what they can do, and where they're headed. By the way, one thing I know for example you can do similar things on for example notebook but the biggest issue with that is if you generating podcast and that sort of thing with notebook alm the whole internet is using that same voice right so it's like your content is basically just merged into a category of AI slot that everyone's creating whereas for example with this like at least the voices are different so when you're generating the podcast you can create something that's a bit more differentiated and sounds more unique versus everyone else Not everyone's going to be using the sources here. — And I'm Sarah. We're seeing AI agents emerge as the next evolutionary step in artificial intelligence. Unlike earlier AI models that simply processed information, these systems can perceive their environment, make decisions, and execute complex tasks autonomously. — That's right, Sarah. The industry is booming, too. The global AI market is projected to reach $1. 81 81 trillion by 2030 with corporate investment hitting $252. 3 billion in 2024 alone. — It's incredible growth. What I find most interesting is how AI agents are already transforming several industries. In finance, for example, they're automating high value tasks like invoice processing and treasury operations. — And in healthcare, — so it sounds pretty nice. I think the average person would not recognize that's AI. But it's one of those, isn't it? Where if you're if you know about AI and you listen back to something that you know is AI, you feel like it's AI. So let's have a look here. So we got general as well. And then you can for example like generate vlogs. Let's see. Let's have a look at these. I'm just going to click on view the results to skip it. So we got these It can generate videos as you can see and then it can actually merge the videos together. And these are the benchmarks by the way if you're wondering okay how does it differentiate itself versus 01 preview or GT40. There you go. Call says the podcast feature is good. Yeah, I think it is pretty cool. Let's have a look at this. We go back to that podcast here. So you can download it and then what's interesting is you can actually you can download it this markdown or as the MP3 and then you know you could host that on Soundclouds and embed it or that sort of thing. Alex Dawson says could we get a live example on how you would implement Skywork into your daily workflow? Yeah, here's an example. Right. So let's say for example, yeah, this is something that I do every single week, right? So every single week we do a video of the latest AI news updates. So the way that I would do that is, and this will take a little while, so I wouldn't recommend I don't know if this is going to work right now live, but for example, if we go to deep mode inside here, slides, and then inside this section, we're going to say, okay, create a presentation plus research report on all the latest AI updates that I can include inside my YouTube Right. Make it fun, interesting, talk about the latest headlines. Should have some sort of shock factor. Eg. Try and blow people's minds. That's what we try and do on this channel. Something like that. Then what we're going to do is click enter. And then that will start generating the research report. Now once that's generated and that might take a little while cuz it's a deep research report right so it's looking at many different sources across the web then from there we could actually start turning that into a podcast into Google sheet creating a web page about it but we'll come back to that in a second depending on how long that takes right so I'm actually going to put that in the background we can come back to that by the way if you want some of the video notes from today it's all inside the AI success test lab link in the comments description. There's a bunch of training inside here for Skywork. Let's keep going now. So, we got the video image generation here. You can see how you can generate it in what prompt. So, let's try that as well. We'll go to general and then I'm going to say okay. So, it can generate images and then I think with cling what it's going to do is generate that into a video. So, let's have a look at this. Yes. So you can generate videos here as well. So like for example you can say okay create some ASMR about a volcano lava chocolate cake that's made out of stone. Something random like that with a knife cutting through it. Something like that. Let's try that one. And then also you can go back here and generate images too. So if we want to generate an image of a cat on a skateboard, we should be able to do that inside the general section. And then we'll keep going from here. Wayne says, "How many credits is used? I use aus chat lm. " So actually tells you how many credits you're going to use each time you generate a response. Right? So if you go back here, you'll see if you enter the content, it will estimate the credit usage. So for example, if I put it in here, we click on start estimating, it will tell you how many credits it will use, right? And then you can estimate, okay, how many credits will it use for each response. So that's the easiest way to check, okay, how many credits will you get through? And when you generate the task, for example, like this one, before it generates the auto execution, it will give you 30 seconds to edit and respond to this, right? So, if you leave this open, you can edit the outline and the report and the to-do list for 30 seconds. And if you don't respond, let's say you've got it in another tab and you don't want to mess around with it, then it will auto execute after 30 seconds. So, you can see now it's generated. It says if no actions taken the task will automatically continue in 30 seconds away. So we got a podcast, we got the research report, we have a cat on a skateboard. Let's check this one out. That is using what we using for that. So MCP tool. Yeah, pretty quick. Nice and easy. You can download that whenever you want. And then now it's generating the video

Creating Webpages and Other Media

as well. Now you can also create web pages here. Right? So you see this section you can generate a web page. So let's say for example I want to create let's say research the AI profit boardroom community by Julian Goldie. Then create a beautiful landing page for it. right? Which is something I would actually do. So, we'll click enter like so and then we'll go from here. And so, the other thing to note here is like you can create multiple different tasks across each tab if that makes sense. So, you can have an AI agent creating a podcast while another one's generating some images. And then from there, you could also, for example, create a web page. But basically, you've got like a whole team of AI agents working across the web doing this stuff for you. So that's really cool as well. And then you get a notification once it's done. So for example, web task complete, that's still gathering the responses. You can see where it's up to as well. So you know, for example, if it's browsing the web, you can actually watch that directly here. And then I'm going to click continue on the to-do list section, and it should generate response. By the way, if you want to see like all the papers and all the white notes, white papers and everything else on Skywork and Sky reels and everything else, then what I'll do is I'll put that inside the AI success lab here. There we go. Sorry, the AI money lab. It changed names recently. So, you see like it's just going off and googling on the web, which is pretty cool. And then it will generate a response later. So, we can come back to that later. We'll get a notification once it's done. It'll be working in the background. And then you can see some examples here of what people have built. So for example, this is a portfolio website. What else we got here? Click on view results. Let's pull that up full screen. And yeah, that's a full website, isn't it? Generated for this photographer. Pretty cool. That's better than 99% of people don't know how to build something like this. Whereas you can easily do this with Skywork and it will just generate responses. The same with this one. So unique travel destinations. But yeah, lots of cool stuff there. So really cool. You can do research reports with it. Generate images, create awesome podcasts. It's basically everything built in one. You don't get rinsed on credits because you can estimate the credits before you actually create anything. And then you can create your own web pages, sheets, slides, documents, etc. as well. So, one of the best ways definitely for deep research, but I would say it's got a lot of other cool stuff in there as well. And then you can also check out your previous projects on the left hand side here. And then inside here, we've got the knowledge base too. So, you can actually upload files and then host them here. So let's say for example, it's almost like a Google Drive where the agent can search through all the documents that you have and then use those for your future projects or just use them for context as well, which is really cool, too. And then you can see all these different templates too. So if we click on for example user manual, we can generate like a user manual for our product. Or if we click on academic paper, we could create something more academic. And that's basically it. And then on these plans, you do get a certain number of free credits. And then if you rinse it a lot, then obviously you're going to get charged for credits in general.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

So, thanks so much for watching. Feel free to check out Skywork. I'll leave a link in the comments in description. I will see you on the next one. Cheers. Bye-bye.
