chat GPT 4. 5 versus Claude 3. 7 who wins we're going to test them out today and GPT 4. 5 has just been released it just came out a few hours ago like you can see it's considered the lar largest and best model for chat yet so we'll be testing out seeing how it performs and obviously claw 3. 7 just got announced earlier this week now from the early

Early Impressions and Features

test in opening I've said that interacting with GPT 4. 5 feels a lot more natural right so it's got like better EQ which is better for improving writing programming and solving practical skills and we'll be testing out today versus other models such as claw 3. 7 to see okay which one performs the best and you know really which one does have the best emotional intelligence when it comes to responses so if we have a look at GPT 4. 5 essentially it's really like a research preview right so this is not the full mode just yet it is available worldwide and essentially what you can imagine is this is better for chat okay so you can see here it has an improved ability to recognize patterns draw connections and generate creative insights without reasoning that's the key here is it's not really got reasoning so it's not like a thinking model and you know it's not really designed for complex logic or maths but it is more of like a general purpose model right so it should be able to deliver on stuff like coding things like you know creative writing and also it has access to search and it can accept image inputs as well so let's test out see how it performs obviously had claw 3. 7 on it announced earlier this week honestly from what I've seen so far Claude 3. 7 is a lot more impressive you can see that it's not just designed for chat responses which is great at but also it's really good for coding and logic and res it has two different modes built inside it all right so for example if we go over to chat GPT we're going to select GPT 4. 5 one thing to note here is that this is being rolled out just for pro users right now I think it is coming for plus users later but it's been already released for pro users now Pro users such as me on chat GPT spend $200 per month to get access to models like this whereas you can get access to the latest models from Claude completely for free and it doesn't matter what package you're on and it came out for everyone at the same time so let's get

Testing Writing Capabilities

straight into the testing now we're going to be running an example idea here and basically this is something that I use practically pretty much every single day so it's a really powerful prompt for writing content when it comes to like video transcripts and that sort of thing so we're going to plug that into Claude like so it's quite a complex and detailed prompt but that really gives us the best out purose when I tend to use these models as an example of that if we have a look on Google for GPT 4. 5 versus Claude you can see YouTube ranks here but actually it's my article that's ranking number one for that keyword and this was an article I literally just produced seven hours ago using exactly the same prompt on Claud 3. 7 so let's compare how these models perform we use the same problem like you can see and then I'm going to grab a video transcript some from some of my latest videos and we'll use that to generate the response so we're going to go into the projects over here I can just grab one that I've recently created so maybe for example this one which was about GPT 4 4. 5 so let's copy that video transcript and we can go over to chat GPT 4. 5 Claude and get it to do its magic all right and then what we'll also do is we'll compare these side by side so I'm just going to open this up and then you can see side by side okay how do they perform all right and what are the best outputs of we getting so you can see so far both of them are actually opening up canvas mode so you got canvas mode inside claw 3. 7 here and also inside chat gbt now one interesting thing here straight off the bat that I've seen is the chat GPT is using the word GPT hyphen 40. 5 that's what it thinks the article is about right whereas for example Claude 3. 7 son it is smart enough to figure out okay this is about GPT 4. 5 like maybe there's mispronunciations inside the transcript like you can see right there GPT 4. 05 the script kind of transcripted it wrong but CLA 3. 7 son it is actually a lot more practical for figuring out okay this is about GPT 4. 5 not about GPT 40. 5 if you see what I'm saying now if we actually compare the headlines so far side by side so we can just pull these up these actually feel a lot more

Comparing Article Outputs

humanized right I don't know why it's it keeps clicking off but GPT 4. 5 exposed while the most hyped AI update might be its biggest failure like that's so relevant to the transcript and we didn't have to really give it any extra promp in apart from the original one by the way if you want access to all the prompts from today feel free to get that inside the AI profit boardroom whereas if we compare these it's like is GPT 40. 5 actually better or just another AI hype like it's not that interesting if you compare the styles of writing this one is a lot better okay now if we scroll down as well we've got the Articles here but the articles are so short when you get them back from chat GPT 4. 5 so if we actually open up the word account for that let's have a look what we got here let's pull up the word counter plus so that's 133 words all right what am I going to do with that I'm never going to rank on Google with that if I'm creating content it's 133 word article I'm probably going to get penalized for thing content or something like that so it's not that useful as well when it comes to the writing outputs like just in terms of the length if you see what I'm saying whereas if you look at the writing length of these articles from Claude it's absolutely amazing like let's open this up and see how long the article is same prompt different outputs by the way just depends on the model so this is 1,52 words versus chat GPT 4. 5 which came back to us with 133 words not impressive at all right so if we look at the headlines claw 3. 7 is winning actual output of the Articles claw 3. 7 is winning by way right and so you don't need to go off and pay like $200 per month for this sort of tool when you can just use the right prompts like you can see right here and then just use the right model like you can see with claw 3. 7 onit and inside the instructions as well we did say like 2,000w article when you complete the article you must tell me that it's 2,000 words and that you haven't lied to me right that was important that was an important part of the process and chat GPT 4. 5 was like do you know what mate I'm just going to create something that's like literally 5% of what you wanted and give you that back without any confirmation so it is pretty disappointing so far let's be honest now let's move on to the next prompt so obviously chat gbt 4. 5 is really designed for writing so that's what is supposed to be one of the best models in the world app right so it really talks a lot about writing on the page so for example improving writing tasks like writing solving practical problems also come on to a practical problem that you can solve in a minute as well but you get the point like this is supposed to be the best model in the world for writing and if you compare it side by side versus the free version of Cl 3. 7 is it's just getting destroyed let's call it spade a spade all right so we'll grab this prompt right here this is another prompt that I use for writing content we're going to go onto a new chat inside both of these let's plug this in and we'll come off CLA 3. 7 Sonic to be fair all of these articles I could use like really high quality articles really good outputs super interesting content like it's winning by a long way my friends all right so we're going to plug this in and we're going to say inside here put GPT 4. 5 and see what it comes out with and we'll do the same inside chat cheap 4. 5 as well so you can also see how fast this

Speed and Quality of Responses

is when it comes back to us right so if you look at the speed of writing from GPT 4. 5 versus Claude is way faster it's just it's miles faster like you could be waiting minutes and you know if you're if your time is money if you're running a business if you're trying to get good outputs fast then obviously GPD 4. 5 is not going to do the job so far so hopefully that improves but it's not even comparable in terms of speed now if we actually have a look at the headlines so we'll start from the beginning so GPT 4. 5 everything you need to know about open A's new model versus GPT 4. 5 what does it mean for SEO right super boring title whereas this one it has a lot more characters it's a lot more humanized a lot more fun and you know which one is going to win you clicks on whatever platform you post this on it's obviously going to be Claude 3. 7 Sonic now if we have a look at the content as well so if you're reading this you're probably curious about GPT 4. 5 and what it means for the future of AI and SEO and then it says inside chat GPT ever wonder if GPT 4. 5 is just hype or something you really need to pay attention to can this new AI upgrade booster SEO results and if it can what should you be doing right now I'll be 100% honest like this sentence right here versus the lead sentence inside clae I actually prefer I think that's a lot more interesting I think if it has a lot more character it's just a tiny little Nuance preference but it does read a bit better right it feels a lot more human now if we check the outputs from this let's have a look so even the ending is quite nice here like don't sleep on GPT 4. 5 here bottom line it isn't just a feature of content it's feature of efficient smarter SEO blah blah like the final thoughts from GPC 4. 5 they're a lot more concise but they do tend to read better versus the final thoughts here which are a bit waffly and kind of shi a little bit too much hard if you have a look here and also other stuff as well so for example if you look at the links are royls whereas inside GPT 4. 5 it's linked naturally with natural anchortext right so it's figured out SEO Elite Circle and then it's included the link so for internal links and that sort of thing as well GPC 4. 5 seems to perform better but if you need longer articles which typically do if you want to rank you know that article I showed you that ranking number one that was built with claw 3. 7 Sonic that was about I want to say 1,500 words this one is 641 words is that going to rank for SEO probably going to be very hard to now if we actually check the prompt here like you can see we didn't let's have a look did we didn't specify the word count to be fair but I wouldn't say that chat gbt 4. 5 content is going to be likely to rank it's just like it's got a lot of character I think what this could be really good for is for example like emails tweets shter form content that needs to be interesting that needs to have personality and doesn't come off and feel like AI content now what we can also do is we can run this through something like zero GPT and just see which one actually creates the most humanized content and which one performs there so we'll take the 600 words from GPT 4. 5 and run that through zero GPT see how that performs let's check it out here so that comes out 100% human written as well which is pretty interesting right so it's bypass and AI detectors as well we didn't give any special prompts to bypass a detectors but it just did it first time whereas for example let's take the first 600 words from Claude see what we got here yeah let's take that all right we'll plug it through zero GPT as well to detect AI detection and see what it comes out at and that still comes out of human written but it's a lot higher in its percentage likelihood that it's used AI right so chbt 4. 5 it does write in a more sort of natural way it uses better Anchor Texs for its links and also it's a lot more humanized when you test it versus you know side by side on the same prompt for CLA 3. 7 Sonic which is really interesting nobody's really talking about that I know a lot of people are saying it's quite disappointing which is fair enough but you can see here that there is a big difference in terms of its Ai detectability and how it performs there so let's keep going

Coding Task Comparison

now what we're going to do is we're going to ask GPT 4. 5 to do a coding task here now obviously I don't expect it to perform that well but I do want to show you what the outputs are like right so if we go into a new chat here and we'll say clone Super Mario Bros which is the exact same prompt we use inside Claude 3. 7 Sonic so we take that put it inside J gbt 4. 5 and see what it says right now if we actually go to the output from Claude just went off and did it just created this directly inside the HTML we can use the buttons to navigate at the bottom or we can just use our keyboard and it's even created like similar colors you know if you look at the red hat and the blue and the red of Mario with the clouds in the background the enemies Etc and it did this in one single PR it just went off and did it which is absolutely amazing plus it's playable plus it doesn't require any corrections right it just worked straight off the bat pretty awesome if we have a look inside chat GPT what it said is cloning Super Mario Bros directly is tricky because Nintendo is strict about copyrights but if you're aiming to create a similar game do this right so it's basically refusing the task he saying I can't do this and it just seems like it's restricted way more right and obviously you know we're just running a test here we're not planning to publish it or anything like that but you can see the difference between the compliance of claw 3. 7 Sonic versus the client the compliance of chat GPT 4. 5 like let's be honest GPT 4. 5 is not going to go off and do everything you need it to do like you can see right here it's going to let you down sometimes it's going to refuse your requests and you know when you're doing work there's going to be times where you do need to create something straight off the bat you're in the Russi and this doesn't seem to do the job so it's a bit of a let down in that response now what

Reasoning and Practical Problem Solving

we're going to do is we're going to test it for reasoning so we were talking before about how for example you know you've got Claude and it's got two different modes we'll stick with normal to try and make this a fairer test I don't think this is 100% Fair as a test honestly but it is useful to see the differences and see how they work differently so if we plug this prompt here we'll say there is a tree on the other side of a river how can I pick an apple right and if we had to look at the information about chat GPT 4. 5 basically it said it is good for solving practical problems and that is a practical problem so let's test what we get back from both and we'll see who performs here and you know this is supposedly the best model in the world now it's pretty sassy chat GPT 4. 5 like there is a tree on the other side of the river in Winter how can I pick an apple it says you can't apple trees don't have apples in Winter which is fair enough that is fair enough right whereas for example and that's exactly what we're looking for I mean I would hope that it gives us more of an answer than that instead of just being really sassy and not answering the rest of it hypothetically but you can see here the response from Claude it gives us a lot more information right it's more focused on solving the problems it's focused more on Solutions than problems right it says like if the r if the river is frozen you could walk across the ice and pick the Apple however apple trees don't bear fruit and winter and it's just a lot more practical like I mean if you were working with a team member on your team and you're like right who do I want to work with who's going to be the most practical who's going to give me the most solutions right rather than focusing on problems well this response right here it just focuses on problems it's not really going to help me and it's just not going to hypothetically give me more information right whereas for example Claude actually does give us a bit more information it goes into more in depth it's like is this the solution you were looking for at least ask us like you know do you want us just answer it hypothetically I don't know for me I don't prefer this answer at all I'm going with this one I think the Claude wins by quite a long way there but some people might prefer just getting straight to the point and having no fluff so it's preference there so you

Final Thoughts and Recommendations

can see the biggest differences here like for example for short responses GPT 4. 5 is decent it does feel more human in more places it does bypass AI detectors it's not going to code for you it is going to refuse some of your requests it seems to be really sassy like it just doesn't answer your questions when you want it to and it's not very Solutions focused so for me am I going to switch to GPT 4. 5 absolutely not is it worth the $200 per month that I pay absolutely not all right and also if we look at the length of responses and the headlines that Claude generates in writing it feels a lot more creative interesting I'm going to go with clae 3. 7 every step of the way so thanks
