Stop! Don’t Pay $200 for ChatGPT Operator Until You Watch This!

so chat GPT just announced computer using agent AKA chat GPT operator and today I'm going to be testing out in some practical real life use cases to figure out is it actually worth the price tag for $200 per month is it a game changer or is it just a gimmick I test it out so you don't have to plus we'll be comparing it versus some free and cheaper computer use agents that can do similar things or even beat it I'll show you more on that later to test which is better and save your money let's get straight into it now this

is a brand new update and essentially what you can do is give the AI operator a task and then it will go off to do it now if you want access all you do is you go to chat cheap T then go to operator and I'm going to be testing out for you so you don't need to pay the $200 subscription and you can just see is it worth it for you or not so for example here I've actually plugged in my email account details obviously I'm going to change my password afterwards I don't recommend this but I'm just showing you how it works and I'm going to say using Google my login details below book a table and bank called for an Italian restaurant for two people tonight put in the login details right there it's typing in the search term into Google so it's like Italian restaurant booking in Bangkok now it's found in Italian restaurant it's gone on to Google Maps and you can actually open this up full screen like you see and you can actually take control as you right here what you've got is this going live right here so now it's clicking book here so far so good the one thing that I am worried about is it's probably not going to be able to get past for example like captures and those sort of things but it is beginning to find different options now it looks like it realizes no availability at laachi so it's beginning to look at Alternatives right so smart enough to like look at the availability if you can't see anything it's going to go to the next option now it's gone straight into Google and it's booking in two people for today 6:30 p. m. that didn't seem to work so now it's trying to book in 6:45 p. m. and you can see here you can also take control at any time now looking at dates for tomorrow instead it's found a good time now you can see that there's clearly a book Now button in the top right but the AI doesn't seem to spot it and it said I found medini restaurant Suk vit which is open until M midnight and has a 4. 8 start rating the website suggests booking a DAT in advance right email would you like me to contact them for a table tomorrow so it still seems to lack a lot when it's actually looking at the screen and that's going to cost you more

time so it's pretty much failed that task to be honest with you not going to lie you can see it could click book now it is amazing that it can browse the internet but if it can't do the job you know it's not going to last today at Goldie agency I tell you that for free and you know literally it seems to end up in a lot of Loops that don't really understand everything that needs to do so I could literally just click book now and you can see here you do have to verify these captions manually yourself as well so it is going to cost you a bit a time you're doing this yourself right like it's not as useful as it first seems kind of still feels like a gimmick at the minute now I'm going to finish up on taking the control and we'll see if it can actually figure out how to book directly from here and it just comes back and gives us the same answer right so it's not that useful so for book in a restaurant is failed and that's a pretty basic task to be honest with you let's go again failed the first task of booking a restaurant I'm going to test something else this is something I saw on a lot of the comments yesterday's video so chat GPT operator is here I'm going to try a test a lot of

people asking like can they watch videos and give you breakdowns and that sort of thing from what I heard YouTube is blocked but let's test out so I'm going to say go to YouTube watch Julian goldish seo's latest video and give me some tips one of the things to note here as well is this works really well with the integrated apps but is not very good at just browsing the web in general if that makes sense so for example like chat gbt is integrated directly with open table with Airbnb Etc these other apps but it can't use the internet directly like you can see YouTube is actually blocked so you can't just go and watch YouTube videos and then start giving you tips I mean what I would say with chat GPT operator is it's super useful for figuring out okay here's where AI is going in the future right you can see by the end of the year it's probably going to have an agent that can do all of this for you but right now it's still very early days it's still in beta testing and it's just not that powerful it doesn't give you the freedom that potentially it promises or you would expect at this point now let's try

something else so I am going to say okay reserve a table for eight at a seafood restaurant next Friday at 6 p. m. M using the Open Table integration and then I'm going to give it my login details so I'm put my Gmail is below if you need to sign up for an account on open table so I've just signed up for an Open Table account and then let's see if it can use these details to start booking a restaurant and hopefully the Open Table integration is much more powerful that might be one of the reasons it's actually limited it to the us cuz it can't just use you know the internet openly right so it's limited to only the app Integrations deide it so going to put Miami just to see location now it's going to start using the web go into Open Table the other thing you can do if these tasks actually work is you can open up like multiple different tabs and have multiple tasks running at the same time so for example like we've got the table reservation over here then we can start for example like finding four tickets to the Kendrick Lamar concert and then you can have loads of different tasks running at the same time which is pretty useful if the tasks actually work right if the tasks don't work and it's broken then there's absolutely no point here so we got the concert tickets being searched for here and then we've got Open Table being used here the other thing I would say is it's super slow when it's being used which was one of the problems with computer use from Claude which was another update that came out so for example you can see here it's literally just stuck on the drop down Miami and it's finally selected it but that took about 20 seconds something like that so now searching for restaurants let's see how it's doing for concert tickets it seems to be doing a lot better to be fair if we pull that up he's actually doing a good job on the research there and if you actually click on the drop down over here you can see the breakdown of everything that's doing and then it's like a f sefood restaurant called number Beach it's rated 4. 6 Stars would you like me to book the reservation we'll just put yes and then I can cancel it later in the meantime the ticket research is actually really good so you can see it's found exactly what we wanted so Kendrick Lamar May 21st all of these prices are under $500 as we requested and that worked beautifully in the background whilst we were looking at table reservation now it said to complete the reservation I need your first name last name phone number and since a credit card is required to secure the reservation with deposit of $50 per person you'll need to enter payment information so at that point you would just take control and start handling things so if you're doing this outside of the app Integrations it's not going to work at all like it doesn't work on YouTube is completely blocked it doesn't work for example on Google bookins or anything like that but for the pre-made templates it's pretty powerful I mean that work pretty much perfectly right there death that was really good the other thing that you're going to find is like when you're actually using the interface you can see that it's quite slow when I'm trying to scroll down so for example on the page and it's super laggy because it's in a virtual environment right so when you're actually using it it's going to be quite slow like it might take five times longer than normal just to fill this form out because it's so laggy and that's not great the other thing here to note as well is like for example let's say you want to copy and paste a card number directly here because it's in a virtual environment if we type in like for example Julian Goldie will cut that and then we'll try and paste it in here or in here right it's not going to allow us to paste anything in so if we click paste nothing happens and so like typing stuff number one is super slow but then copying and pasting directly into the interface it's going to take ages to so I think it's like really early days it's not as good as it first seems on the outside you will have to take a lot of control and there is going to be a lot of manual interference is an exciting update it's exciting but honestly like if you're the sort of person who has an executive assistant or a secretary and you really value your time then you're probably still going to be better with a virtual assistant like at the minute now this will change I'm sure it's going to get faster better smoother to use I'm sure AI agents will get a lot better in the future but honestly is it worth $200 a month I wouldn't say so personally let's try something else now

so we're going to go over to the news headlines and we're going to summarize the latest AI news and we can blog that in and what I'm going to do is I'm actually going to test this side by side versus just using something basic like chat gbt right so if we just use for example chat gb40 I'm going to say exactly the same thing but using the web search feature to summarize the latest in AI news so chat GPT operator is on this tab and chat GPT 40 is in this tab we've already got all the latest headlines from chat GPT ready to go right here whereas inside AI new summary the operator is still going right and so if the whole goal of this is to save you time and to get things done faster then you're better off with the chat GPT 40 method right and you can see how slow this is still scrolling the internet still looking through Etc still having a look through axio whereas inside chat G 40 we've already ski through it got the headlines boom job done right and it's literally 20 times faster maybe 30 times faster to do the same task so it's all a bit of a fugazi at this point to be honest with you can see it's still going many minutes later and we could here all day and then let's compare the output side by side so you know imagine this is your employee working for you got two people in the running two virtual assistants here ready to go and you're like right okay I'll give them a sample task we'll see which one we want to keep working with right and so chat GPT 40 Good Old Reliable and chat GPT operator over here and so if we look at this with asset summarize the latest in AI news on operator. chat GPT and operators come back to us and said open a operator agent available to us and pro subscribers performs web Tas that's a summary coming from chat GPT operator and chat GPT operator already knew this was already done because it is operator right it doesn't seem to be conscious of itself that intelligent whereas for example if we go over to chat GPT 40 it's done a much better job it's giving us like way more insight into actually what's going on it did find an old one which I don't really see the point of but it's got the latest updates right here and it's a lot more in depth honestly even this one is not great like if you want the latest AI news and then it's giving you stuff from like 30 days ago probably not the best but either way which one performs a better job which one would you actually expect to be worth like $200 this one right not the summary over here and so for browsing the web chat GPT operator is pretty terrible you know they can't access YouTube and also it cannot book restaurants and tables directly from Google if you want to book a table and that sort of thing is pretty useful for finding like ticket prices tables but bear in mind you're going to have to manually add all your credit card details in there and additionally when you do that it's going to be very slow to input it because it's inside a virtual window which is like really laggy and also you have to type in everything manually because you can't copy and paste directly into there and if the goal is to save time here if that's the whole reason that you're using this then honestly I think it's going to be more time consuming to take up more time more mental energy than you actually need it to the other thing to note here is that there are other Alternatives that can actually freely

browse a web so for example if you go to a computer agent inside Abacus AI I have a couple of videos on this on YouTube if you want to see access this costs about $20 a month I think from what I looked at recently and it can actually just do the same thing but cheaper and I'm not including an affiliate Link in the description or anything like that it genuinely just has a lot more freedom so for example if we go inside here and we're like right okay go to YouTube give me a competitor analysis of Julian Goldie seo's channel it's still going to be inside a virtual environment but we'll do exactly the same thing so you know this is what chat GPT operator failed at because it cannot search the web freely it's only limited to the app Integrations it actually has and you can see now that it's navigating inside Firefox directly to YouTube and it's not blocked right so YouTube isn't blocked it can actually freely start looking through so searching Julian gold SEO on YouTube now and it's going to navigate to our Channel and then you can see it's already given us some information within minutes plus it's like right let me check some of his videos in the betters to provide a more detailed analysis right so the actual outputs from something like clawed computer use you can use it inside Abacus or you can just download and use it directly I've got some other videos on YouTube about that as well a faster cheaper and more free right you've got more freedom using computer stages from cord than you have from chat GPT operator and you know look at the analys assist in the outputs you get back right so for example when chat GPT operator was summarizing the headlines from the latest AI news it gave you like one sentence and that was with its native app Integrations on axius whereas for example if you look at the output you actually get from computer agent you can see all of its information that it's giving you right here it's really in depth it's really actionable and super useful let's try something else now so for example if we say right okay book an Italian restaurant in Bangkok on Google for tomorrow. m. M and here's my email login details we'll see how that goes all right so you can see here now it's saying I'll help you book an Italian restaurant in Bangkok using Google and need to access your Google account first and then use Google Maps search to find and book an Italian restaurant I think to log in you're still going to need to manually control the computer but at the same time it's going to do the 820 for you so let's see what it does now it's actually sign in directly into Gmail like you can see it's already plugged in the email let's see if it can take the password so it is entering the password and let's see if it can actually skip this bit on recovery information and just get straight into actually logging in so it's managed to skip that bit now it's logged in as me on gmail which is pretty wild it's going directly onto Google it's clicking on Google Maps navigate to the website let's see if it can figure out whether it can reserve a table so it's clicked on reserve a table now it's selecting the time and the date and now you can see it's actually got further than chat GPT operator so is actually capable of adding contact information obviously I would need to type in my phone number but basically it can book the actual restaurant so we're going to stop it there but you can see if you gave it your phone number it could just plug that in book the restaurant for you it can get way further than chat cheap operator and it's a lot cheaper so there you go you saved yourself $200 a month so I think Abacus is about $20 a month if you use the API directly on CL computer use it's actually even cheaper and you get the same outputs just a bit more technical to set up now let's see if it can send emails as well so if we say send an email to this email address saying we're booked in for tonight for Italian food let's see if you can figure that out so it knows what to do it's like right I hope you send an email through Gmail let me navigate to Gmail using Firefox since we're already logged in and you can see just how much more freedom you get with this versus something else and again you can go back to another tab you can do whatever you want to you can be using chat GPT in the background or doing your work and then if you come back to this tab with Abacus you can see it's already navigated it's about to send the email Etc right now here's another example of a real life use case so for example it says right now I'll create a blank document so I've said go to Google Docs and write a blog about chat GPT operator agent and you can see because it's managed to log into our Gmail directly it can go into Google Docs start using it and actually start doing some work and you can see it's filling out the blog post right here now if you actually gave it some better instructions you know for example like format it needly add some paragraphs Etc then the output would be much better but if we now go to our Google Drive we'll click on the document you can see the blog post right there so is chat gbt worth $200 a month
