What is Clawdbot and Why Everyone is Obsessed

Claudebot is changing the game when it comes to AI assistance. The AI community is exploding over this tool right now and for good reason. Unlike Chad GPT, Claude or Gemini that live in browser tabs, Claudebot is a 24/7 AI assistant that runs directly on your computer. It remembers everything, controls your entire machine, and it can do anything a human can do on a computer. By the end of this video, you'll have your own AI employees set up and working for you non-stop, and it's way easier than you think. Later in this video, you'll see how Claudebot can write emails, manage projects, create files, browse the web, even order products online, all through simple text messages on Telegram, WhatsApp. So, let's dive in. So, what exactly is Clawbot? Quick note first, this tool is now officially called OpenClaw. Same project, same developer, just a new name. You might see both names online, but it's the exact same tool. We'll mostly use Claudebot in this video since that's what most people know it as. Now, most AI tools today live in a browser. You open a tab, ask a question, get an answer, and once you close that tab, everything just disappears. They're useful, but they don't really feel like assistants. They feel more like tools that need to be reopened over and over again. That's exactly the problem Claudebot is trying to solve. Claudebot is a self-hosted AI assistant that runs directly on your own computer. Instead of living inside a web interface, it connects to dedicated AI models like Claude or Chad GPT for its intelligence while the agent itself lives locally on your PC. What makes that interesting is what it can actually do. Claudebot isn't just limited to chat. It can connect to Telegram, Slack, Discord, Google, and other tools depending on how it's configured. It can write code, build applications, do research, create lists, or handle tasks that would normally require bouncing between multiple tabs. Because it's running locally, everything stays on the machine. Conversations, files, context, none of that is sitting on some random third-party server. That's the real advantage here. With the right configuration, Claudebot feels way less like a typical AI chatbot and a lot more like an actual assistant that understands workflows and can interact with the computer. It can help build full projects, manage research, or automate things in the background, all while being controlled through Telegram or whatever platform is preferred. There

How Clawdbot Works (The 3 Mind-Blowing Features)

are three parts about Claudebot that make it stand out from every other AI tool available right now. First, full computer control. Claudebot can control everything on the computer it's running on. It can pop open browsers, work in Google Docs, look at Apple notes, write notion documents, look at emails, send emails, respond to emails. Literally anything that can be done on a computer, Claudebot can do. There are absolutely no guardrails on this whatsoever. It's completely unhinged in the best way possible. Second, infinite memory. Claudebot has a really complex memory system where everything said and everything done is constantly saved. After every chat session, it takes what was discussed and all the important details and saves them to memory. Third, messaging interface. Claudebot is completely interfaced through messaging services. Give the bot a name, give it a logo. It makes the experience a lot more fun and personal. Control it through Telegram, iMessage, WhatsApp, Discord. There are over 20 different messaging apps that work with Claudebot. From anywhere in the world, someone can open their messaging app and say, "Write this document. respond to this email, go on Amazon and buy this product. Claudebot goes and does it. This is what tools like Claude Co-work wanted to be but never achieved because they were locked in a browser. Claudebot actually delivers on that promise. Before getting

Busting Common Myths About Clawdbot

into setup, let's clear up some common misconceptions that come up a lot in discussions about Claudebot. Myth number one, you need a Mac Mini or special hardware. reality. Claudebot runs on pretty much any modern device, whether that's Mac, Windows, or even Linux. There's no special hardware requirement and no need to dedicate a machine just for this. It doesn't use a ton of system resources because it's not running a full language model locally. Claudebot just connects to existing AI models from providers like Anthropic or OpenAI. The computer is mainly just running the agent itself. That said, some people do choose to run Claudebot on a dedicated device like an old laptop or a small desktop computer, so it can operate 247 even when the main computer is off. But that's completely optional. Myth number two, it's super expensive. Reality, Claudebot itself is completely free to use. No one pays for the software or the agent. What is needed is an API key from an AI provider like Enthropic or OpenAI. And that's where cost comes in. How much gets spent really depends on how often it's used and which model is chosen as the default. More powerful or newer models will cost more per request, but they also tend to give better results. There's a trade-off there. Lower tier models are cheaper, but the experience can feel a bit more limited. On top of that, some of Claudebot's advanced features rely on additional third-party services, which means extra API keys and potentially extra cost. So, while Claudebot itself is free, the total cost can vary quite a bit depending on configuration and usage. Myth number three, it's technically difficult to set up. Reality, the setup isn't completely plugandplay, especially for anyone not used to working with the terminal or dealing with API keys. There are a few moving parts and it can feel a bit intimidating at first. Setup involves installing things like Node. js, JS, adding API keys, and setting up whichever messaging platform will be used, like creating a Telegram bot. Some of that involves running terminal commands and in a few cases, editing JSON files, which can be unfamiliar territory for non-developers. The good news is that once everything is configured properly, Claudebot runs very smoothly and settings rarely need to be touched again. It's mostly just a one-time setup. The documentation definitely helps, but there may be a few bugs or rough edges along the way, especially around API keys and gateway tokens. If comfortable following guides and using basic terminal commands, everything should be up and running in about 30 to 60 minutes. The hardest part is usually just getting all the keys set up correctly and making sure the messaging platform connects properly. Myth number four, it's risky or dangerous. Reality, yes, it's powerful. Clawbot can control the entire computer, but permissions are controlled by the user. The recommendation is to start small, build trust, and gradually expand what the bot is allowed to do. Just like hiring a new employee, start with simple tasks and build up to complex workflows.

Hardware Requirements & Options

Let's talk hardware for a moment. There are three main options for running Clawbot. Option one, use the main computer. This works perfectly fine. The only downside is that the agent sleeps when the computer is off. So, if the computer gets shut down at night, Claudebot won't be accessible until it's turned back on. Option two, a dedicated device. This could be an old laptop sitting in a closet, a small desktop, or even a budget mini PC. The benefit here is that Claudebot can run silently 24/7 with low power consumption. Option three, virtual private server. This is for advanced users who want cloud-based hosting. Claudebot runs on a server somewhere in the cloud and is always accessible from anywhere. This requires more technical knowledge but offers maximum uptime. The bottom line, no one needs to buy new hardware to use Claudebot. Use what's already available. If Claudebot becomes essential after a week of use, then consider upgrading to a dedicated device for 24/7 operation. But start simple. This is important to

Cost Breakdown & AI Model Selection

understand. Claudebot itself is completely free and open-source. But it needs a brain to power it, an AI model. This is where cost comes in. There are four main options ranked by price and capability. Option one, Miniax, the budget king. About $10 a month. Great intelligence, decent personality, best value for money. The downside is it feels less human. But for anyone watching their budget, this is a solid choice. Option two, Chad GPT Pro. $100 to $200 a month dependent on the plan. Very intelligent. The latest GPT models are no joke. The problem, robotic personality. It feels like talking to an AI, not an employee. Anyone with an existing chat GPT subscription can use that without additional cost. Option three, Claude Max, $200 a month. This option offers the best personality by far. Claude Opus 4. 5 genuinely feels human. It makes the entire experience fun. When the bot responds, it doesn't feel like AI. It feels like conversing with a real person. When using Claudebot all day, every day, personality makes a huge difference in the experience. When responses feel robotic, it kills the illusion of having an employee. When responses feel natural and human, the entire workflow becomes more enjoyable. Option four, Clawed API. $500 to $1,000 plus per month. Unlimited usage, but cost can get very expensive very fast. only worth it for extremely heavy use cases. If budget allows, go Claude Max for the personality. If saving money, go Miniax. If there's already a Chad GBT Pro subscription, use that. So, those are the costs for running Claudebot. Anywhere from $10 to $200 a month, depending on which model is chosen, and that's just for one AI service. Now, if working with AI professionally means accessing multiple models, not just claude or chat GPT, but also image and video generation, that's when things get expensive fast. Multiple subscriptions, multiple tools, multiple login. That's exactly why we built AI Master Pro. All the top AI models in one platform. Sword 2, VO, Clang, Nano Banana Pro, 4K, GPT image models, everything in one place. No juggling subscriptions, no switching between tools. You generate, you download, no watermarks on anything. But here's what makes it different. Our built-in creator economy lets you earn from your content. Here's how it works. Create images, videos, upload it to the platform. Clawbot. This is the part everyone thinks is hard. It's not. One line of code. Here's exactly how to do this. Step one, go to clawedbot. You can search for either clawbot or open claw and you'll find it. Scroll down to quick start. There's a command right there. Hit copy. Step two, open terminal. On Mac, hit command space. That one line installs Claudebot. What happens next is an onboarding session that walks through the entire configuration automatically. The first screen will say, I understand this is very powerful and very risky. Hit yes to continue. Then the onboarding flow begins. First screen, choose the onboarding mode. Select quick start for the fastest and easiest setup. It gets everything up and running without needing to tweak a bunch of settings right away. Next screen, choose the AI provider. This is where the decision is made about which model Claudebot will use for its intelligence. Options include Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for Chad GPT, Miniaax for budget friendly, and several others. This isn't a permanent decision. Providers can be switched later. It really comes down to personal preference and budget. For this tutorial, let's select OpenAI. After selecting OpenAI as the provider, choose OpenAI API key and paste in the key that was created earlier. If that key hasn't been created yet, pause the setup. Go to platform. opai. com. Create an API key. Copy it and paste it into Claudebot. Next, Claudebot will ask to pick a default model. There are quite a few models available. And this part is about balance. More powerful or newer models will generally give better results, but they'll also burn through credits a lot faster. For this setup, we'll choose GPT 5. 2. It's highly intelligent and offers excellent performance for most tasks. Next screen, skills. This is where capabilities are selected. Claudebot can control Apple notes, notion things, three to-do lists, PowerPoint, and many other applications. There's a full marketplace of skills. Just select whatever apps and tools are used regularly. More skills can always be added later, so there's no need to go crazy selecting everything right now. Start with three to five core skills and expand from there. Last screen, messaging setup. This is how communication with the bot happens. Options include Telegram, WhatsApp, iMessage, Discord, Slack, and more. Telegram is a popular choice because the app is clean, simple, and many people use it specifically for their AI assistant without mixing in personal conversations. But any messaging platform works perfectly fine. Setup is super easy. Enter the token of your Telegram bot, connect it to Claudebot, and you're done. That's it. 5 to 10 minutes start to finish. Claudebot is now installed and ready to go. Now comes

Getting Started: First Steps with Your AI Employee

the fun part. Think of this like hiring a new employee. First day on the job, it's time to get to know each other. Step one, give the bot a name. Open the messaging app and send the first message telling it what name to use. For example, your name is Alex or I'm going to call you Luna or whatever name is chosen. This makes interactions feel more personal and fun. Instead of talking to Claudebot, it becomes a named assistant. Step two, get to know each other. Send a follow-up message to build a working relationship. A good message might be, "Let's get to know each other and build a good working relationship. I'm going to tell you about myself. Then please ask me any questions you want. " Then just brain dump. Talk about work goals, daily tasks, tools used, hobbies, preferences, anything. The more information shared, the better. What this does is create a memory foundation. Every conversation from here on out, Claudebot pulls from this memory to make sure it's doing relevant work. Step three, test it out with simple tasks. Start small. Ask it to write an email, create a document, do some research, organize some information, then build up to more complex workflows. The memory system is key here. Claudebot remembers everything. It learns preferences, style, how things should be done. The longer it's used, the better it gets. Some users set up daily briefs where Claudebot sends a message every morning with tasks for the day, reminders, and anything important that needs attention. This can be requested during the initial conversation. The goal is to build trust gradually, just like training a new employee. Start with simple tasks and increase complexity over time. Once Claudebot is set up, the
