NEW OpenClaw Update (FREE!)

So there is a new update from openclaw with virus total for more security on the app. So if you've been using um open claw you've probably seen all the controversy recently about like for example the issues with uh skills people you know using skills and stuff like that. And so they've actually announced this new update right here. And you can see how it works. It's got like seven different features, including daily rescans, auto approval, code insight, upload analysis, hash computation, and deterministic packaging. I'm not 100% sure what each of these means, but basically what they've got here is something called clawhub, right? And so when a skill is published to Clawhub for getting skills um and installing them to claw uh to open claw, they're actually checked and approved before they can go in, right? Which is quite interesting. Now, you might be wondering, okay, like

first of all, what is open claw? So, open claw is like kind of a personal assistant. It runs 24/7. I've actually got a six-hour course on it right here. And it can, you know, answer questions, do tasks for you, you can control it. You can create avatar videos, you can automate your emails, you can publish the content, etc. But

one of the biggest issues is the skills, right? And the reason that skills are an issue is like you can augment open claw with skills which is awesome but at the same time some people make these skills that are not good to install right and sometimes you don't know which skills are good and which ones are bad right so some skills can for example read your private messages send messages pretending to you um trick open core into doing stuff and that's not great right so this new update from virus total makes sure that every skill gets checked before you use

it And the way this works is like someone will make a new skill and then they upload it to clawhub. So let's check out clawhub. And I would still even if this I mean even after this update I would still be careful what you install. Always read the skill MD file and then also when you're using these skills you can actually get the skill MD file plug it through claude or another API like that and just say okay you know what I need to be aware of with this skill you know is it safe to install or not? And just like double check it as well. But you can basically connect now open claw with these skills to trellot to slack to plexi. You got mold book of course um openclaw cloudflare as well which is probably quite a good one to install um too just uh you know to play it safer and you can see all these skills right here. So now when people upload it to clawhub virus total looks at it carefully and just checks okay is it an issue? They read all the code. They look for tricks. They see if people are trying to do bad stuff. And then the skill actually gets a grade, right? So it's got like a green light, suspicious um or no at all. And then they're checked again every

single day. So before you have to trust the skills are safe. Now every skill is automatically checked. But I would still be careful when you install this stuff, right? Cuz this is not 100% perfect. So, you know what it does catch is like bad code, suspicious stuff, um skills to try to download sneaky stuff, code that might take information, etc. But yeah, it's pretty cool. And then now Open Claw is slightly more secure because you have every add-on getting security tested, tests get happen automatically. Um stuff can get blocked and gets rechecked daily. Right?
